I love your hardware and have been a loyal customer for the past 10 years. But steelseries moments have been eating my RAM up!

I have a 64 GB RAM and I keep ending the task through task manager to release my RAM space.

It has been doing this the last week or two. I thought it was some bug that would be fixed next update, but nothing has changed. I'm just wondering if I'm alone in this

Hello, I’ve got a little project going on and would like to remove the ears from the headset entirely. I’m stuck at this point and can’t seem to get the circled parts off.

I’ve tried removing the ear cups and unscrewing the screws to get to the guts but couldn’t find any way to remove these “Arm” pieces from the inside either. Any help would be appreciated.

So after 3months for buing thes headphones. I want to put them on and it snaps in half and on the other side it craks i don't have a big head or something but steal i payed a lot for them in my country and its breaks aftem 3 months. I already went to the stor but they said "it's a mechanical isue and i can't take it in for repair and i can't be shure if some one didn't step on them" how do you step on your headphones???. For now i'm gluing them with super glue but i don't want to do this evry 3 days

Hey, I just got wireless headsets for the first time, I’ve always had wired steel series headsets. So this is my first wireless headset and it’s PC only. So at first my audio is clear and good, then I noticed when it picks up my microphone to talk in any Voice channel application like Xbox app, discord, zoom, and more. The audio turns all muffled, sonar is off, monetization is off, I’ve tried every single thing ChatGPT, Google and even read some Reddit forums. I cannot find an option.In my settings I have soooo many audio settings for this headset, but they’re all off. They either work but muffled or some don’t work at all but it picks up audio but I cannot hear anything. I’m starting to think it’s the USB-C plugged into my PC that’s the issue. Because when I unplug it I can still hear muffleness but when I disconnected the Bluetooth from my headset and only left the USB-C, it can pick up audio but I can’t hear anything and then when I can hear, it’s all muffled. I just need help, if this doesn’t work then I’m just returning it and sticking to wired because I’ve spent 2 hours and no solution

Wasn't even watching task manager the first time I tried playing wardogs with moments enabled again. Figured I could trust the patch notes that said this was "fixed". An hour into playing the game aaaaaaand it's taking all of my ram. Again.

Amazon has one marked as "old" packaging for £100 less than the one marked as "new 2026" but the model is the same as is the description, is there any real difference? For example updated audio drivers (in the headset not software drivers), updated range or better battery life, etc.

i dont want to be the 100th person coming to this reddit and complaining, but i actually do enjoy using steelseries GG. i've had multiple issues with steelseries GG not working. i know, the new update fixed the moments issue, where it consumes a whole lot of memory. unfortunately, i have encountered more issues with my microphone. my input and output devices dont show up and i have to restart the whole system before being able to hear anything. i didnt really mind a lot, but not steelseries stopped working completely: not opening, not installing, not setting anything up. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, running it as an administrator and restarting my device multiple times, but it has been stuck in this loading screen.

Basically as the title says. Even when the computer is off, the microphone picks up sounds and plays them directly into the headset output.

Clicking the keyboard, opening doors, dropping the product box on my desk table etc. I get that the microphone is picking up sounds. But why is it sending the sound directly into my ear?

Is there any way to turn this off?

Using it felt great. However after using a while, when using the scroll wheel, sometimes it doesn't register the roll. Only way to fix it is to Factory Reset the mouse. Kind of an annoying bug because it can happen any time, and it happened to me during an Arc Raider match. Anyone facing similar issue?

Every time I start up my PC, Sonar switches from Aux to Game. Then, I need to manually go to my Windows settings to switch from Sonar Game to Sonar Aux, even though Sonar Aux is set as my default device according to Windows. How do I prevent Sonar from constantly switching my output devices?

This is a pretty crazy one, and I've only really put the pieces together after reading this subreddit but bear with me lol.

Last week I had been getting a few crashes in Broken Arrow, which is a game known for it's issues to say the least. In Event Viewer I was getting low virtual memory errors, which I attributed to memory leaks from Broken Arrow, I had noticed but failed to consider that "SteelSeriesCaptureSvc.exe (8768) consumed 15611699200 bytes, SteelSeriesCaptureSvc.exe (7556) consumed 15307419648 bytes" was also appearing in these reports.

Decided that night that Broken Arrow was too broken for my machine to run, so hopped on Risk of Rain 2, which then subsequently also had this low memory error with the added bonus of completely crashing my PC. I tried to reboot a few times but Windows was no longer recognizing the drive at all, it was only visible in the BIOS.

I tried formatting the drive, drive recovery, placing it in an enclosure and checking on a separate system with no joy there at all. I gave up at this point, installed my backup 500GB drive and ordered a new 2TB drive for €300.

All has been good until this evening when I got another low virtual memory error in event viewer when loading into a Helldivers 2 match, which is when I gave those SteelSeries error reports another look and ended up here to see these crazy memory leak reports.

Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions here and eager to hear everyone elses thoughts but since I uninstalled moments I've played Helldivers without issue and ran a stress test on my RAM, CPU, GPU and verified my drive health, so I feel like the conclusion that Moments somehow bricked my NVME has at least some truth to it lol.

To be honest I'm livid, I've messaged SteelSeries support but imagine they won't be much use to me, just felt the need to vent here!

I broke my old Arctis Pro Wireless headset a year ago, and now it’s time to stop using it wired and buy a new model he-he.
My options are the Nova Pro Wireless and the Nova Omni.
In my region, prices are the same, and I know they might be equival for me (I don’t like ANC and I have a good microphone, so these features don’t matter to me at all), so I just want to buy something that looks and feels better.

I really like that the old models come with a lot of bare metal in their construction and have really good ear cushions made of fabric, not fake leather like the new ones. I’ve heard that the Omni has more plastic parts, so it feels cheaper, but how does the Pro Wireless feel?

So, what would you recommend?

I’m running into an issue with my SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless. Everything was working fine until I went into the SteelSeries GG app to tune some settings in Sonar. Right after saving/adjusting the configuration in the software, my mic completely stopped working.

I have lower hearing on one ear and for other wireless Steelseries headsets, I have been able to adjust the balance between L+R channels via Windows Sound Settings.

But for the usual device, this is not available:

And for the Sonar device(s), there seem to be an option for this but nothing happens when I change them:

I've tried third party apps but it seems to be blocked somehow as well.

Does anyone have a solution for this or do I need to leave Sonar completely?

Artic Nova Pro Elite with Windows 11

Anyone else have this problem and a resolution? A couple of months ago, it started happening where Windows 11 would change the default audio device. I would have to open the SteelSeries GG app and switch the device. I've attempted reinstalling the app, moving USB, changing Windows settings, but it keeps occurring.

A second issue is that my audio will randomly mirror. Left is right and right is left. I power cycle the game hub and it fixes it.

Both of these issues are weird, and I haven't been able to figure out the resolution. Anyone else face these issues?

I tried to get the shitty software installed on my Mac, but it doesn't detect the headphones to update the FW. It shows the version on the IOS app, but can't update so what is the latest version available?

My rival 3 had a steady red color saved to onboard me more for years, I'm using the basic RGB not prism! All of a sudden I did a firmware update for it and now it's stuck cycling rainbow colors and it's so ugly. None of my RGB settings save it's so frustrating. lmk if anyone has this problem or knows how to fix it.
