Sup fellers. So BASICALLY I've been trying to find this one particular punk album for a few days now, but I don't remember the name; however, what I DO remember is the cover. In the cover there's a kid who's just opened a door and he's looking thru the door, and he looks traumatized lol, and right behind him there's a skeleton looking to the right. The cover appeared to be a hand drawing; anyone have any idea which album this could be?
EDIT: it was Cerebral Ballzy self-titled. Thanks to y'all who helped me :3

Is this song racist? One of the lyrics are "Kick their yellow faces". The song is great but I'm worried it's sang by boneheads.

American Wino - 1982 US🇺🇸 1st Press
Seattle turned Bay Area punk act The Lewd on ICI Records. Hard, gritty, guitar-filled riffs and classic punk-filled, dismal, dreary lyrics.

Heart & Lung are from Cleveland and I always describe them as Dillinger Four meets Smoking Popes. They have 3 singers, so it's hard to nail down a reference point, ya know? "Twistin' The Knife Away" came out during the Pando, and I think it's one of the most underappreciated LPs in the Red Scare catalog.
Well, they're just released a new 3-song EP in time for The Fest and here's a video for it:

They're also confirmed for Pouzza Fest in 2027. Really lovely people and they make Northern Ohio proud... which is no easy task!

Wanted to share for any NYC / NJ people to come out and hang with us, some sick bands are on the bill and it’s at a sick Skate Park, in Staten Island, NY. I know it can be a trek but very worth it I swear! Free and All Ages show, 12-8 pm!

Just came across some very concerning comments from a midwest punk band that appear to be pro-trump? they also weirdly vaguely threaten the OP with legal action by saying they're all attorneys? don't know what to make of this. Band is @savethelostboys on IG. beware of these sketchy guys if they're in your local scene.

No Future are a Midlands-based covers band. We do the whole NMTB album plus the b sides of anarchy and GSTQ.
We also do Buzzcocks, Ruts, Ramones, Clash, Damned and DKs.
The question I have is: on a night of 2 x 45 minute sets, do we do Pistols first half an the rest second half, or do we mix it all up over both halves?
I favour the former; my bass guitarist prefers the latter.
Thoughts?

I leave on Saturday but I am a crusty from Indiana and have no idea where the hell anything is here. Recommendations?

The game went on! wtf! A soldier DIED and the game still went on!
As of the past few years the DK album Frankenchrist has become more and more relevant again. A snapshot of american culture during the Reagan years is more relatable than ever. I dug the tunes in the 80's and 90's but now that I'm living and seeing these things first hand I understand why this band is so important.
Thoughts?

I saw Screeching Weasel last night; does anyone know what music plays (over the PA) right before they start? I would assume it's the same song for every show.

Our first EP is here! This EP encompasses a lot of growth and is a unique blend of who we are as musicians. We had a lot of fun writing, recording, and producing these songs. We hope you will check them out and have fun, too :)

"Todd Chlumsky, a wonderful member of the early Chicago punk scene at La Mere Vipere, has transitioned into spirit.
What some people tried to eventually sweep under the rug and forget was that the original Chicago Punk scene was experimental, queer, gender inclusive, straight, gay, bisexual and transgender before that was a strong cultural aspect of today’s world.
I remember Todd as this wondrously free-spirited person who I shared many happy moments with at my shows and hanging out with him at La Mere Vipere."
-Jim Skafish of Chicago punk legends Skafish.
( Pic of Todd on the left along with his friend Bill on the right was taken by Anthony Bruck. For more on the history of the early Chicago punk scene check out Chicago Punk Was Born Queer)
