There was a recent post here that sparked a lot of conversation regarding transgender individuals which also brought about a lot of transphobic statements in the comments. This is isn’t at all meant to be an attack on any individuals, but more of a direct question to the people who share those transphobic views, or right leaning politics, or whose political views are vastly different from the majority of your peers within this subculture: what keeps you coming here ? And I specifically speaking to what keeps you involved in hardcore such as going to shows , listening to the music, or even starting your own band? Are you involved in this community in real life , or is this reddit is as involved as you get ? Do your friends share similar views? Age group ? How are you able to make connections with people here ? From a
complete sociological and political perspective it brings up an abundance of questions. I can’t imagine wanting to be part of a culture that holds so many opposing views to what you believe. I hope you would speak freely , because you’re not outing yourself if you’re anonymously posting from a Reddit account. But maybe this is an opportunity to actually understand where people are coming from. Don’t get misconstrued either , any form of bigotry absolutely has no place here. But that’s what begs the questions how did you get here and what keeps you here being so conflicted ?

Does anyone have a copy of the original "pressing" of WNITA? I listened to that cassette until it broke. The remix is great, but I committed the original release to memory and the timing and little extra bits are different from the original. Throws me off every time I listen to the remix.
