10/24 Have Heart Big Night Live Ticket Giveaway - Boston Charities?
Yo, I have two tickets to Have Heart at Big Night Live on 10/24 I want to give away. I was planning on coming from Milwaukee but ended up getting World Series tickets for that weekend, go Brewers. Don't want to make any money off of this, just want people donating to good causes. Idk lets call it one entry for every $5 donated, no limit on entries. I'll do a live draw the 20th or 21st depending on response. Send me a message and when I accept your chat, drop a screenshot of your receipt and I'll get you added. Or drop the receipt here if it doesn’t have personal info. Anybody know of some good Boston orgs to add to the list? Here are a few options

What is a band that has a well known and universally loved album, but you prefer one of their other albums?
For me, Opposite of December is fine, but I still listen to “You Come Before You” on a weekly basis.

Band that surprised you the most live?
For me, it’s ringworm. I went in only knowing Justice replaced by revenge and they ended up being one of my favorite live bands by the end of their set

Mostly listen to terror. Any recommendations?
I absolutely love the first 5 albums of terror so far. What else should I listen to?

Does anyone know band "NO"?
I found this CD on ebay, it was marked as "unknown" (probably because there is no name on the cover), my curiosity won and i bought it. It turned out to be a hardcore/noise rock band from 2000s, i fell in love with this album and ive been trying to find more about it. Does anyone know about the band in this subreddit? I posted about it here before, one person replied to me that they used to play at shows with them, so im curious if there are more people that maybe personally know the band or its members

two new singles: One Step Closer - Blue Hour / Was It Ever Enough
What yall thinking?? They announced a new album coming out in February. I remember when the singles came out for All You Embrace and I initially didn’t like them, then when I heard the full album I loved all of it.

How it feels listening to the kickass new Statement of Pride album knowing you’re about to take half a gummy.
1/2 a gummy a day keeps the alcohol away.
Anyway, Thoughts Before Darkness is fucking great.

I've never understood Jane Doe as much as I do at this moment in my life.
I'm going through quite a bit right now with women and relationships and it's really got me quite down. I'm in recovery from alcohol and drugs save for cannabis and my medication but I don't numb myself like I used to so I'm feeling it all full force. I've always loved that record as it was the first Converge album I ever listened to. But all these years later I never looked into what it was about because A. You can't tell what Jake's saying and 2. I'm a guitar player and have always mainly paid attention to the riffs/breakdowns on that record because goddamn are they tits. But I digress, everything I'm feeling right now is so encapsulated in that album. Every emotion running through me is right there and I feel so connected to it in a way. Also fall is just my favorite season but this album is fitting for this weather too. I'm going through it, losing sleep, feeling worthless and bitter, etc. but I'll make it. Always have, always will.
Just sleep, girl. Dream well.

What are the weakest breakdowns in hardcore?
You expected shit to go off after that buildup then you farted instead of shitting, name the worst.
