I first made this for Squamish and got a bunch of requests to add Pemberton, so here it is. It’s completely free, I’m not making any money off it, and I just want it to be a fun thing for people to play with. Type your address and it shows when the sun actually clears the mountains around your house, how many hours of direct sun you get, and how that compares with the rest of town, for any day of the year.

I need your help though. I don’t know Pemberton like I know Squamish, and the data here is thinner. Addresses and buildings come from public maps, so some may be missing or in the wrong spot. The LiDAR is from 2016, so newer houses and trees aren’t in it, and the newest Sunstone streets up the hill only get an estimate and aren’t ranked. If your address or neighbourhood looks off, tell me and I’ll fix it :)

If you’re in any Pemberton Facebook groups, please share it there too. More people checking their houses means more mistakes I can fix.

Don’t see a lot of action on this sub, but figured I’d put it out anyways. Who we voting for in pemberton this year? Why?

I'm heading to Squamish for first week in October. Have some plans for fishing near Squamish , have a guide booked for a day in Whistler later in the week so excited about that.

Plans now include 3 days of camping at Birkenhead Lake, before my guided trip..so I'm m trying to understand the streams that are within a reasonable hike of the camping area and where I might swing a fly and what rod wt would be best. Not looking to burn a spot. I'm visiting from PEI and if someone is willing to help with some advice and doesn't want to post, maybe could send me a message. I am doing some research and creating a plan. Thanks in advance for help.

Hey Pemby Redditors.

Over this past weekend I was camping up at Birkenhead Lake with my partner and dog. I brought up a disposable camera with me that I am sure we lost on our final night there (July 7).

The photos on there would mean a lot to me as I had brought it on a trip to New York. I'm based out of Vancouver so it'll be a bit of a trek (though I'm debating the drive up over the weekend).

If anyone is up there and spots a Fujifilm Quick snap Disposable Camera, please let me know! I'm quite certain that it fell out of our backpack while doing the last 1/4 of the Birkenhead Lake Loop (lake side). We were about to take a picture there when we realized we had no more film left and that was the last time I saw it.

I've also submitted and lost form with the provincial campsite.

Hi, my husband and I are going to be spending a week in beautiful Pemberton as part of a holiday to Canada for the first time. It will be late September. Any tips for anywhere we should definitely go?

We would love tips for veggie food and outdoor activities that aren't too intense (I'm pregnant).

I'm eloping in Pemberton in September and want to meet family after for a private event. Ideally this would be from 8:00 - midnight and dinner would be served. There are not many late-night dinner options available. Sunstone Golf Club asked I call in August to see if they can put together something.
