In the first and most likely only debate for Minnesota’s US Senate race, DFL Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan and Republican Michele Tafoya expressed opposing views throughout the debate.

Nicolas Cage's post-apocalyptic film “Parish” will shoot in Minnesota through the end of the month.
“Parish,” currently filming on deteriorating property near Axdahl’s Greenhouse, centers around a post-apocalyptic survivor taking on zombies. But the shoot Tuesday afternoon didn’t feature any battles or bloodshed, which may explain why an actor famous for his intensity both on and off screen seemed so relaxed.

The Department of Homeland Security searched Democratic US Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home with less than 30 days until the midterm elections. Here’s how the political stunt may actually boost Omar’s campaign—even as it instills fear.

Have to be at the airport at around 330 AM in 2 weeks. Looking at car services in the area and I see many of them. I am in Forest Lake. Seems like prices are all the same from $150-200 ish.
I can expense this as it's a work trip but need to stay on the lower end. Given that my company is paying for it, I am going to skip the Uber route.
EDIT: Only 1 car and my wife will need the car while I am gone with our 10 month old at home otherwise I would leave my car there.

The Summit Brewing Company is no longer on the precipice of closure.
A new lender has acquired the famous St. Paul brewery’s loans from BMO Bank and is working with the company on a “long-term growth strategy aimed at strengthening Summit’s balance sheet and supporting its vision for the future,” the brewery said in a short announcement.
Thursday’s announcement does not disclose the identity of the new lender, and it does not detail any terms around the arrangement.
“Today is a day of gratitude and genuine excitement for all of us at Summit,” president and CEO Brandon Bland says in the announcement. “That starts with our employees, who have shown up every day through months of uncertainty. Their professionalism has inspired all of us to keep pushing toward a resolution, and I can’t thank them enough.”
He also used the statement to thank shareholders, distributors, retail partners, and “loyal Summit fans” for their “outpouring of support.”

A lobbyist once told state Sen. Aric Putnam there are three types of legislators at the Minnesota Capitol:
Putnam considers himself part of the first 1/3. Attack ads, including one calling him an “airhead,” would have St. Cloud-area voters believe otherwise.
Well-funded special interest groups are using such ads in an effort to unseat him and other DFL senators in battleground Greater Minnesota districts. Why such a focus on them? Because the stakes are high.
Party control of the Senate could hinge on outcomes in St. Cloud, northeastern Minnesota and Moorhead, each held by incumbent DFLers.
My full story on St. Cloud-area campaigns can be read for free here: https://www.minnpost.com/elections/2026/10/money-talks-and-mocks-in-st-cloud-legislative-races-inundated-by-outside-money/

Feminism means equal rights and opportunities for men and female and while efforts are made to create more opportunities for women to enter male dominated fields. The opposite is not happening. MN women's should be more liberal and shed patriarchy. Life sucks as male nurse in nursing.
