Discussion For the INTJs, from an INFJ.

For the INTJs, from an INFJ.

Just wanted to say that I love you guys.

You really have this power inside your hearts and minds that captivates me so much.. I love seeing that frickin' light in your eyes when you explain something or even when you look at something!

I really love the deep connection we share. One of my best friends is an INTJ, and I really really love her. She's incredibly smart. It shows in the way she speaks and explains ideas, systems, and visions she has. Her thinking is logical and solid. She has a very deep heart, along with a sensitivity and tenderness that make me feel whole. Our connection is deep. She's one of the few people I actually truly trust without fear!

Some of the deepest romantic feelings I've ever experienced were for an INTJ. I felt our brief connection with an intensity I'd never experienced with any other guy. We hadn't known each other for very long at all, and yet so much was communicated through silence, through deep silences. His eyes were so intense, as if deep feelings were being held tightly inside. I don't know how to explain this. '(If an INTJ has an idea...). There were so many moments when we would simply say to each other, « I understand, » without having to explain ourselves. We would start an idea with like, 2 or 3 words or just one sentence, and we would say to each other that we understood. It happened when we talked about ideas but also about feelings. It was kinda special. I felt like he was so sensitive but like, trying not to seem too vulnerable, you know? (It was a nourishing connection, one that has now come to an end, but I'm grateful I got to experience it.)

Well, that's all! I just wanted to share my love for you!

MBTI I'm sick of INTJ stereotypes

Post image

Who says average INTJ looks like this, (I know he's ENTJ he is just there because of the sigma male stereotypes) it feels like an ego satisfaction to me. You're not Walter White, you are not Dr.Lecter. So funny how people think they are sigma male just because they are INTJ- and frankly I think some people manipulate themselves to be INTJ just because low self esteem and trying to be "the cool kid". Personality types are based on cognitive functions and it doesn't decide how cool are you lol, it'd just how you perceive the world, how you decide. For example, a Te user can be a very successful business owner, or a very anxious student, or neither (spoiler alert, it's usually neither). I don't really relate with any INTJ character because they're usually one-dimensional "sigma" males. You can show a realistic INTJ character with actual struggles and not necessarily good at chess, if you want.

To be honest, INTJ and INFJ must have the most flexible stereotypes, since Ni is a very complex function. Yet somehow everyone thinks all INTJ's are in the same type of character. Where are the real representations?

Discussion Communication difficulties with some friends

I noticed some (not the majority) of my closest people , friends/dates, talk in a very associative/contextual way.

For example
Me: “what’s the Q4s reported sales number please”
Them: “I don’t like how the marketing dept is not looking at sales…and they should, because…”
Me: “so what’s the Q4 sales number?”

Me: “what should we have for dinner”
Then: “idk just so tired from my boss who keeps negging me about….”
Me: “Ok but what should we have for dinner”

Me: “is this a good outfit for tomorrow?”
Them: “people here can be pretty judgmental, judgmental and snobbish ..”
Me: “ok do you think this is a good outfit for tomorrow?”

I constantly run into this issue. Trying to see if anyone else experiences this - am I the pattern? Lol

Question When INTJs lose interest in their relationships

What does that look like? What are the signs that they are starting to become disinterested? How do they handle wanting to move on? When do they know it's over for them?

Relationship Intj u are magical..

So Ive been seeing this Intj and mind you this is my first time seeing an Intj, and it is nothing but magical to me… 😭

Ive always thought that an Enfp x Intj pairing might be boring, but this.. this is the opposite. He made me feel some kind of way that I havent felt for so long!! every single time im talking he would just listen and smile at me and everytime i realized that i was talking way too much he would tell me that he wants to hear more. He told me that i can see right through him and he thinks that i am fascinating and brilliant. Id say im more leaning towards developing Enfp i think thats because i used to work as a flight attendant and it kinda balanced out my flaws and all.✈️🛩️🤔

This one time we were talking for way too long that it already passed his bed time i said to him “oh my god, hey we talked so much and i think it already passed your bed time!” and he said “do u remember when i told u that i will only sleep late or passed my bedtime if theres something important? Consider this important” My face immediately turned red!😭 no like srsly my face turned red i have this skin condition where i got rlly red when someone made me blush, angry or crying🫪. He continued teasing me abt my redness tho🤣

This one time we both open up about our struggles which i told him that ive always struggled with people not taking me seriously and they think that my facecard is the only thing that made me interesting. I told him that if u ever noticed, when we walked in public and people came to approached and complimented my looks, it doesnt flattered me at all? thats because theres so much more to me that people doesnt care but only u noticed my depth and how my my brain works which flattered me and made me red every single time!🤣

Anyways, he is very caring, fun, we both loves books but he’s more into psychology and im into philosophy. He supports me and see my potential, He’s amazing and despite him thinking he is not hot enough for me, well i said he is the hottest man ive ever seen. He gets jealous seeing me being childlike on live stream because he said he wants that personality only for him (jokingly ofc)🤣, he loves to pat my head and made fun of my stage name (its a food). He have his own law firm and knowing how serious he is when it comes to work HE ALWAYS TEXTED ME WHILE WORKING WHICH IS WOW..

I am still amazed on how incredible being with an intj
ive always assumed that itll be boring oh my goddd!🫪🫪🫪🫪

Update: I hope he’s not on reddit im scared that he’ll see this love letter im trying to play it cool🫪🫣🤧😣

Discussion I rely on my friends more than I think I do

Not sure if anyone would relate but I’m very introverted and always prefer to stay home than hang out, I’ve always thought to myself that I only have friends so that I’m not considered the “wierd kid” or stand out at school.

I’ve found it easy to make friends most the time because of the connections I made when I was younger and much more extroverted.

My new realisations begun during the school holidays, I stayed home all day everyday mostly bedrotting and just doing my own thing. because of the lack of socialisation and insane amount of free time I thought about a lot of stuff which gave me heaps of anxiety and I think I did go into a depressive state because of the anxiety causing insomnia (I do struggle with insomnia usually but it was WAY WORSE at this moment)

After Going back to school and hanging out with my friends everything kind of went back to normal and I’m not freaking out in anxiety attacks anymore.

I’ve hung out with them for 3 weekends in a row now and I’m not dreading hangouts anymore, I think I really have found the friends who bring out the best in me.

I thought that I could be totally independent and that I didn’t need friends because myself is enough but I know that isn’t true anymore. Yes I still do spend most of my time by myself, however without the time I spend with them, I wouldn’t be able to smile like I do.

I find myself a highly sensitive person and very empathetic
Most people are apathetic honestly, and I believe that’s a core reason of why I am the way I am

(If you’re neurodivergent or have a certain diagnosis that can affect cognitive functioning please state that in your answer)

Question How would you put into words how you perceive reality?

I'm an ISTP and someone I like is an INTJ. I cannot conceive how someone could lead with such a foreign function, to me, it's internal and intuition and as soon as you step outside, well at all times, that is how you are seeing and experiencing the world. It is totally opposite of what I do. The closest I can come is I'm in my head a lot so I am very aware of my surroundings, probably hyperaware.

From what I can tell and from what I've heard, it seems like maybe overwhelming or extremely focused on one sense or "thing" at a time. Like for example going to a concert it would be hard to focus on the person on stage and the lyrics and the atmosphere all at once or something. It is hard to focus on the full picture as it unfolds and also react to it. For them.

This is all from the outside observing them though, they actually don't know anything about MBTI, I'm just pretty sure they're INTJ and witness what they seem to hone in on or dislike. They do not say much of anything about themselves or their internal state. I have never been too close to an INTJ so I was kind of shocked that I deduced this to be their type.

Question Do you ever feel like people over complicate simple things?

I’m not (just) talking about concepts or abstraction. But when having things to do, or solving problems.

Personally, sometimes when I see a clear path to what to do, what will happen, you know what I mean, other people are like… struggling to see it as easy or simply as I do. I guess it happens when some of them get trapped in overthinking the logistics, or pondering about the what ifs.

It doesn’t bother me, but sometimes it looks like I’m convincing people to take a leap of faith rather than make them trust that things will work out just fine.

And then there’s the type of people who does brain gymnastics to go from X to Y.

Unrelated (kind of), but I really appreciate those of you who make one sentence comment with the weight of a whole paragraph. It’s a skill I wish I had.

Discussion I feel like even I don't realize how much people mean to me.

I've always found it difficult to really pinpoint how I am feeling in a moment. I usually feel neutral most of the time, towards people and things. Very rarely have I felt an extreme feeling towards a person specifically a positive one. I always felt like love was such an out of grasp thing for me. I'd never felt that feeling of I love this person, besides my younger sister. Like I think I love my friends but I don't really know it. I know I deeply care about them, but I don't know if that feeling is love or not because I haven't had that epiphany. Recently I made some friends online, and became friends with this girl online and since we were online friends I thought I wouldn't be able to feel that close to her. But one day she confided in me of her problems, and said she trusted me and that she would need a break. And I started crying. I barely ever cry, and I was very confused at my own feelings. This was a person I hadn't even met before, I didn't know her name or much about her but still I felt this feeling. And had that epiphany that I do love her. It didn't feel weird to say I love you much to my online friends after that because I realized how much I really care about them.

Blog MBTI TYPES AS POKEMON | PART 1- THE ANALYSTS

___

This is going to be veryy long and it is completely subjective.

A while ago I made a Mbti types as Icecream post and this was the next thing on my mind. Just like the Icecream post all this is just going to be my personal opinion and description of the types. So... Take it as a joke.

___

I have created a whole ass system to select these pokemon! >.<

So... here's all my Ti slapped across your face with just the right amount of Ne chaos as a topping.

The selection of these pokemon is based on the system below so even if some other pokemon might have been a better contender. It fits the system and the mbti type so I am satisfied.

(You can skip what comes after this if you don't want to understand how each pokemon was selected and just read the description of the types after that. Wont make much of a difference.)

___

Now, for the system... I have given each cognitive function a specific Pokemon type. Then created a combination of the top two cognitive functions. That means the selection of the pokemon is done by the combination of two Pokemon types based on the top two cognitive functions. For the Analysts, It looks like this:

Introverted Thinking (Ti) : Ghost type

Extroverted Thinking (Te) : Steel type

Introverted Intuition (Ni) : Psychic type

Extroverted Intuition (Ne) : Fire type

INTJ (Ni + Te) = Psychic + Steel type Pokemon

ENTJ (Te + Ni) = Steel + Psychic type Pokemon (Same thing basically)

INTP (Ti + Ne) = Ghost + Fire type Pokemon

ENTP (Ne + Ti) = Fire + Ghost type Pokemon

Thats the system. Now I will explain why I have given these Cognitive functions these specific types:

Ti ( Ghost type) : In the pokemon world, ghost type pokemon are the ones that technically don't completely belong to the human realm and have connections to the ghost realm. They are natural and a part of the world naturally but they are still otherworldly. I think that this portrays the nature of Introverted Thinking very well because it always seems something otherworldly and detached from the reality when it is put to use. Atleast...It seems like that from the outside. Though, from the inside it isn't complete abstract thought with no connections to reality but rather the sort of connections that are ghost like and hard to put into words even if Ti users know that it is related to reality, more times than not, it fails to bring the ghosts into real world. Only they can see these ghosts which do exist but others can't see them so they are hard to prove and the existence of these ghosts is dismissed. (TwT believe in us please ! They exist !)

Te ( Steel type) : Contrary to the ghost types...Steel, on the other hand is concrete and tangible. It is something that is grounded in reality and is more harder than the abstraction of ghost types. Just like Extroverted Thinking. It is a type of thinking that takes the pure abstract and hardens it to reality by different methods. I also think a metal is something that can melt and is malleable so this logic of theirs is flexible and not fixed like Ti. Here "fixed" means dependent on the underlying mechanism through which truth is seen. Not unchangeable. For Te, "not fixed" means that it is not dependent on some underlying mechanism or reasoning of things but the output of it that keeps changing. So they are able to see the output, understand it and re use those results.

Ni (Psychic type) : Psychic pokemon are able to see and manipulate things that are generally not visible to anyone else. That is why trying to find a counter against them is harder because you don't know the abstract mechanism through which they are drawing their power from :0 (You guys are scary) This ability to have a source that is not easily visible makes Introverted Intuition seem Psychic from the outside. On the inside, Ni is actually able to instinctively understand how things work based on past and present data so they use this ability quicker than most. Though, Using it ≠ Understanding it. Kind of like the difference between Sorcerers and Wizards in D&D. Ni users fall into Sorcerers category and Psychic pokemon work the same way. (Atleast..I think cause I haven't seen pokemon with books, trying to learn about their powers.) Sorcerers have innate understanding with no reasoning and Wizards have Reasoning first and then innate understanding.

Ne ( Fire type) : Fire is something that keeps growing the more you feed it. Though in Fire pokemon it doesn't end when you don't feed it. It is part of their nature to have fire. It goes away only when you or something else deliberately puts it out. That is the same as Extroverted Intuition. It keeps burning and spreading, seeking more from its surroundings. At the same time whenever fire spreads, it leaves nothing behind. This is the same as when Ne seeks something new, it usually forgets about the thing that it was seeking in the past and it is as good as destroyed. This is because Extroverted Intuition thrives in spontaneous situations. It can learn concepts quickly in the moment but when they sit with it and have to dig deeper than the surface level of what they got...yeah lets just say it's not a good feeling. It is a slower process and it makes the Fire restless because Fire just wants to spread and not sit in one place for too long.

___

Now, I will begin with MBTI TYPES AS POKEMON | PART 1 - THE ANALYSTS

___

INTJ ( PSYCHIC STEEL TYPE) - SOLGALEO AND NEKROZMA

This is the only type that I will be giving two pokemon to.

The lore between these two fit INTJ so well that I had to take these two as one. These two pokemon signify two different parts of INTJ that are simultaneous.

Solagaleo is a sun lion pokemon. It is said to live in outer space and it can create wormholes to travel in space. It has a light that can make the night look like afternoon. In ancient times, it was called "The beast that devours the sun".This is the pokemon which is on the left side of the picture above.

Necrozma is a humanoid form made with crystalline black material all over its body that has a prism like shape. This prism is called the brain prism and plays the role of this being's brain. It can also travel space the same way as Solagaleo. In its original form it is sustained through light and it shines which is shown in the picture above, on the right. Though...In the pokemon lore it loses its original form. Its light was taken away by a group and it stays in a state of agonizing pain and starvation of light because of its incomplete all black form. It doesn't act cruelly out of malice but out of starvation. It seeks light energy from every being that can offer it and steals it away for itself.

Now the role of Solagaleo and Necrozma as one comes. Solagaleo was the one that Necrozma seeked and hunted because it wanted Solagaleo's light. Taking away Solagaleo's energy would sustain Necrozma completely and will regain its original form. They are in a constant loop of Necrozma trying to consume Solagaleo and Solagaleo evading him. They are both Legendary Pokemon and powerful beings stuck on this chase and evasion.

Eventually, Necrozma was able to take over Solagaleo and that form was called "Dusk Mane Necrozma". This fusion of Solagaleo and Necrozma is something that fits the INTJ type according to me. In the end, Solagaleo was able to separate itself from Necrozma and was able to save Necrozma by giving it enough light and bringing it back to its original form.

Though this...This isn't always the case when it comes to humans and INTJ's though. In all these events I think INTJ fall somewhere in all these states or at least one. In either a starved state or evasion state or fusion state which suppresses the light to satiate the starvation.

Solagaleo here signifies their Ni goal. They have this image of light in their mind. Necrozma is the process of reaching that goal which is filled with starvation because for INTJ "the process is not as important as the goal". Solagaleo evading Necrozma is when intrusions disturb the process and keep you from reaching the goal. When you actually reach Solagaleo and achieve the goal. You actually find out that even though the starvation is gone and the goal is fulfilled. It is not what you actually wanted and the image of Solagaleo's light is being suppressed. It is not met properly because INTJs were focused on the starvation of the light being out of reach rather than the light itself. So after reaching the light, they find out it was all for the starvation and not about the light and that ruins the experience of obtaining light for them. It leaves an empty state of not being starved because you have the light but at the same time, the light not feeling like it was what they wanted. So to feel satisfied, the light they really wanted is suppressed and an attempt is made to be satisfied with the effort and the end goal. (They are not satisfied :/ )

The part where these two beings are able to travel in space is the cognitive headspace where ALL THIS happens. The light, the starvation, the evasion, etc. It is space though...so it is detached and you cannot see that all that is happening.

The solution to this is the wormholes that these pokemon can create to reach different places. INTJs have their own wormholes. Wormhole is when the INTJ have their end of the wormhole and there is a similar opening on the other end. The travel part is their decision. I don't think INTJ work when the other end of the wormhole is not there in whoever or wherever they are trying to reach. That just means you take the decision of stepping into the wormhole but then get lost inside it because the other end is not present. Unlike...some Fe types that are able to reach the other end and get through to a person in through god knows what way.

Name origin

Necrozma may be a combination of νεκρός nekrós (Ancient Greek for "dead"), 黒 kuro (Japanese for "black"), and πρῖσμα prîsma (Ancient Greek for "prism") or plasma, a state of matter commonly found in stars.

Solgaleo may be a combination of sol (Latin for "sun") and leo (Latin for "lion"). It may also incorporate Galileo, an Italian astronomer who presented evidence that the Earth rotated around the Sun.

Game dialogues of this pokemon that fit INTJ:

"La-liona!"

"Gyaooooh!"

- Solagaleo

(Uh...yes)

"Ultra Necrozma pours all of its gathered light into a giant, burning star!

Ultra Necrozma used Light That Burns the Sky!

The catastrophic explosion leaves absolutely nowhere to hide!"

"A terrifying rift rips open the sky above the Altar of the Sunne!

A pitch-black entity lunges from the Ultra Wormhole, trapping the beast in its jagged claws!

Solgaleo is thrashing wildly, trying to break free from Necrozma's grip!"

Dusk Mane Necrozma attacks in the INTJ Inventory:

Future sight: That one thing shifted now and now you you know the other thing will shift in the future.

Effect? You are now prepared.

Drawbacks? You are told preperation isn't necessary because nothing shifted now and the other thing is not connected to now.

Endure : Everything is chaos right now but...it is leading towards your plan so you are secure.

Effect? The tension is bearable now.

Drawbacks? One disruption may break endurance and you'll have to get to work again.

___

ENTJ ( METAL PSYCHIC TYPE) - METAGROSS

When I got the idea of this pokemon post, I was asked by a ISTJ that they wanted to be a metagross but... TwT it just fits ENTJ so much better. (So, to that one ISTJ who wanted to be Metagross, I will give you a better steel type)

Metagross might have the most interesting biology ever. It is a mechanical robotic being with four arms and it floats in the air. The way it is formed is an evolutionary process in which at first,it is a small Beldum. When two Beldum merge together they form a bigger Metang. When two Metang merge together, they form Metagross. But this isnt all, Metagross is actually a being with the processing power of four beldums or two metangs in one. So it is like a single being has the processing power of four small brains or two medium brains. This pokemon is said to be "smarter than a super computer" Now...I am not glazing (I am) but ENTJ are similar in design.

They lead with Te so their brain is required to process so many things at once because the use of Te is computer like and Systematic. That equates to having four small Beldum brains or two medium Metang brains inside one. Not in intelligence but in sheer processing power. They are able to multitask well because of this ability.

The NTJs have a similar philosophy. "The goal is better than the process" For INTJ its about their ideal goal but for ENTJ? It's victory. It can be victory in efficiency or Victory in resting even. Could be anything but they have a tunnel vision about achieving exactly what they want. INTJ's may loose sight of what they really want but for ENTJ's its the opposite. They are too focused on the end goal and victory part that they forget their current state. What you want currently, not what you want in the future.

Metagross is this battle fixated pokemon that has a tunnel vision towards winning. It is a canon fact that...um...when victory doesnt come and its out of reach...A metagross self destroys and explodes itself just near the opponent just to win the pokemon battle.

Name origin

Metagross may be a combination of metal and cross (referring to its facial feature), gross (referring to its weight of 1212 lbs., as a gross is 12×12), or groß (German for "large").

Game dialogues of this pokemon that fit ENTJ:

"Why is there a big X in the middle of my face?"

"I swear by the X on my face, I won't give up!"

"Mega Evolution has stimulated its brains to an extreme degree.

The logic governing Mega Metagross has become entirely ruthless. If victory cannot be won, it will seize the opponent and trigger an explosion to destroy them both."

Metagross attacks in the ENTJ Inventory:

Scary face : Look down at a person as if you are about to skin them alive and kill their whole family when they intrude on something you were doing.

Effect? 100 percent Intimidation.

Drawbacks? They now find you scary and don't get near you even though it was their fault (is it a drawback though?)

Confusion : You started talking about your feelings and now both you and the other person are awkwardly staring at each other.

Effect? They stopped asking about it.

Drawbacks? They stopped asking about it.

___

INTP ( GHOST FIRE TYPE) - HISUIAN TYPHLOSION

(I am a INTP myself so I may be a little different in my idea of INTPs here)

Hisuian Typhlosion is a different version of the Normal Typhlosion. The normal one is filled with aggressive fire and energy but the Hisui region Typhlosion is the calmer version of that. The passion is still there but it is expressed in a different way.

The Magenta red radiating from it in its appearance is influenced by a mountain found in that region called "Mount Coronet". These flames form a collar around it's neck.

It is often seen staring into space but it is actually trying to find lost souls and looking into the ghost realm to lead it and correct its course. It is usually seen as detached from human matters and is one of the only few Ghost type Pokemon that don't prey on humans. It is detached from humans but is more empathetic and focused towards souls and ghosts.

When the Pokemon is angered the collar which has comfortable flames emit 108 ghost flames that it uses to attack its opponents. These flames that are usually used to guide can also be used for attack. It is based on Mujina which has similar abilities to a Tanuki which can shapeshift.

I think that this pokemon fits INTPs because it is a very...head in the clouds type of pokemon. Even though it does have the Fire of a Normal Typhlosion inside it. That is not what this variation of it shows outside. Its demeanor is calmer outside despite the fire inside.

The way it leads spirits here doesn't have to mean help to other beings but it is simply correcting what is supposed to be corrected for the sake of the correction. INTPs are like this. They wont guide lost souls because it is supposed to be kind but simply because they have the ability to do so and it's right in front of them and they can't help it.

Another thing that fits is that detachment towards humans. Humans here signify not humans themselves but the things that someone should feel connected towards. Many INTP are not connected towards those things that they should be connected with but something otherworldly. It can be anything like MBTI theory itself which is not real science or something else like Fiction or anything really.

The same as this Hisuian Typhlosion which doesn't behave like other ghost types who interact with the real world but it interacts with the ghost realm instead.

Name origin

Typhlosion may be a combination of typhoon and explosion. It could also derive from Typhon, a monster in Greek mythology who was said to be buried under the volcano Mount Etna after his defeat and who also had a mate named Echidna; or Eulipotyphla, a mammalian order containing shrews, hedgehogs, moles, and solenodons.

Game dialogues of this Pokemon that fit INTP:

"Typhlosion is rubbing up against you with its hot body!" (Ahem...)

"Go! Hisuian Typhlosion!

Hisuian Typhlosion gazes blankly at the battlefield, surrounded by a faint purple mist...

It lets out a soft, echoing wail into the empty air."

"Hisuian Typhlosion has fallen fast asleep on the grass.

Tiny, spectral sparks drift lazily from its closed collar as it breathes.

You wake up Hisuian Typhlosion to wash it, and it looks at you with calm, gentle eyes."

Hisuian Typhlosion attacks in the INTP Inventory:

Defence curl : You are curled up in your bed after a long day.

Effect? You forget all the threats and lose yourself to a new thought experiment.

Drawbacks? You forget the important threats too.

Confuse ray : You start to explain your opinion about something or a new thing you learned about and get glazed over looks.

Effect? You now know when to stop talking about something

Drawbacks? You never talk about that something.

___

ENTP ( FIRE GHOST TYPE) - BLACEPHALON

This Pokemon is perfect for Entp !! Fits so wellll (ajhhhhhrnenekwkak) Especially the character design

So...Blacephalon is a straight up alien from another world. So that tracks with ENTP.

Jokes aside, No it actually does fit ENTPs quite well.

As the picture shows, it is a very colourful humanoid pokemon with a ball for its head and performers clothes. It is a performer and draws people towards it with its dance and tricks.

Then when you least expect it to, it slithers towards you and takes off its ball which is also it's head. Then blasts its head!

It does this because it is a predatory pokemon that finds fun in surprising others and uses this explosion of balls to damage its opponents.

In the episode that it appeared it had an ongoing rivalry with another alien pokemon Xurkitree(probably Estp or Enfp). They were competing to see who shines the brightest and who captures the most attention of the audience. They competed till the power of that place ran out and the characters had to stop them forcefully.

It was a very small apperance and then both pokemon were sent back home to their alien planet.

This fits ENTP. Not because of the performer stereotype. Here performance can signify anything. It is their Ne wanting a show for their ideas and wanting them to work out in real time. They are relentless about this just like how Blacephalon didn't give up on the competition and kept going without understanding any limits. The ability of Blacephalon to detach it's head and blow it is the same as a ENTPs ability of being able to switch off their brain when it is not needed and focus on the present idea. It shows a sort of control of their thoughts and mind when something catches their attention.

This pokemon was made after a Evil clown and I think that is how ENTPs are viewed on the outside. It's not truth offcourse but it fits their aesthetic.

Plus its gay

The ball blowing ability is how ENTPs are able to genuinely baffle your head when you least expect it from them. You think that they haven't been paying attention but then they catch you off guard with a sudden new idea that is actually well thought out and works. Just like how Blacephalon surprises the audience members with the explosions.

Name origin

Blacephalon may be a combination of blast and encephalon (meaning "the brain"). The name recalls the adjective "acephalous", meaning "having no head".

Zugadoon can be taken literally as 頭がドーン zu ga dōn ("head goes boom").

Game dialogues of this pokemon that fit ENTP:

"Blacephalon is staring blankly into space...

You try to pet Blacephalon, but it tilts its head completely upside down!

It seems to be happily juggling sparks in your direction."

"Blacephalon used Mind Blown!

Blacephalon's head exploded into a shower of sparks!

It took damage from its own explosion!"

Blacephalon attacks in the ENTP Inventory:

Mind blown: You just saw something interesting and unexpected. You are curious and want it in your head!

Effect? Brain satisfied.

Drawbacks? You forgot to eat and didn't get any sleep.

Swagger: You just did something cool and now you are showing off.

Effect? Everyone is charmed.

Drawbacks? They are pretending not to be.

Question Is this typical INTJ/introvert behavior? Confused by a junior’s mixed signals after a trip

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some insight from an INTJ perspective on a situation with a junior in my college department.

[Background/Context] In my university, students in the same major are part of a small, tight-knit department committee (about 20–30 people), so we see each other often.

[The Situation]

  1. Before: We were getting friendly—saying hi and having brief small talk whenever we ran into each other.
  2. The Event: During a recent department retreat (MT), we sat next to each other and had drinks together.
  3. After: Right after the trip, he suddenly started acting super awkward and flustered around me. When I said hi, he would ignore my greeting—not in a cold way, but he looked visibly anxious and panicked, unable to greet me back.
  4. My Reaction: After getting ignored a few times despite saying hi warmly, I stopped initiating greetings.
  5. Yesterday: I walked into our department room, and he came in right after. Out of nowhere, he initiated a conversation first, asking how I did on my quiz, and we chatted for a bit.

[My Question] I used to just see him as a cute/nice junior, but he’s acting like this only toward me. Is this behavior familiar to any of you? Is he just socially awkward/overwhelmed, or is something else going on? How should I naturally handle this situation moving forward?

Question INTJs, when do you realise, "oh fucking hell, I'm in love with this person"

As an INTJ who's aromantic/demisexual (I have no idea), i find people attractive but rarely "fall in love", but when I do - oh wow, i usually surprise myself.

I think, acts of service and physical touch are my main love languages since I'm not really good at expressing myself verbally - i love to make things easier for my person, but only if I can do it, otherwise I would try my best to help them somehow, even if I can't do it directly. I would also play with my person's outfits/acessories - their hoods (of a hoodie, sweatshirt, etc.), the fabric of their outfits (it is so satisfying), their watches, their keys, their spectacles, etc. and they would look at me real confused at times, even called me out for "behaving like a cat", but still let me do it anyways.

Discussion serious feelings

When you truly and rarely fall in love w someone do you see it almost as “infection” like thing as i do? Like last time i realized my feelings are way too strong and suddenly my whole world is gonna rotate about this person which is gonna make me less observant, aware of other things, im gonna lose my hypothesis times etc. Basically i see this all these negative factors about being deeply in love with someone. Yes i’m happy that a person like this even exists no matter if we end up together or not but for the duration of my feelings its like my brain capabilities are reduced by 30%. Am i the only one?

Advice INTJ parents

I recently became a mother and it has been one of the most overwhelming experiences of my life.

I never really wanted children until I met my husband (INTP). We were so happy together and because of that wanted to bring a child up in the world together. Due to medical conditions and my age we had to have multiple rounds of IVF over several years. We never gave up because of how badly we wanted this and when we found out we were pregnant we were ecstatic and full of hope for the future.

I am now 7 weeks post partum and while I feel so much love and protectiveness for my son, I sometimes wonder if I have fucked my life up. It’s been hard to deal with the sleep deprivation, the anxiety, the tedium of the newborn trenches and the constant need to be present with hardly any downtime. We are very inexperienced parents despite our age and I feel like I am messing up all the time, which is a strange experience as I have always excelled at work and school. I feel especially bad because as a mother I’m expected to have some magical maternal instinct and know what to do but instead I’m clueless.

Perhaps this is a universal thing and not an INTJ thing but I guess I would like to ask if other INTJ parents felt the newborn period to be especially trying and if it got better as your children got older. I feel I would be a good parent to an older child but it’s just been so hard to figure out a newborn. Sometimes I almost feel like I would be a better father than a mother in a traditional sense, especially as I will practically be the sole breadwinner when I go back to work from maternity leave next year, while husband works part time and looks after the baby.

Question How do you deal with burnout when working has become your identity?

Lately, I've realized that I've become almost obsessed with working and being productive. Even on some weekends, I struggle to relax because I always feel like I should be doing something. I do have hobbies. I travel too and explore new things. I spend time with friends/family. But when I'm also out doing something I enjoy, I sometimes just want to go home and get back to work. It's like I've made work my default. Maybe, I'm using it to escape life and everything happening in the world. I still find myself questioning my purpose.

For those who've experienced this, how did you learn to slow down and enjoy life?

Advice INTJs, is it normal for you to not ask many questions about the person you're talking to?

I'm an INFJ (F) talking to an INTJ (M). We're both working adults. He's actually engaged in our conversations. He shares things about his life and interests, sends me funny stuff, and sometimes initiates conversations too.

But I've noticed that I'm usually the one asking questions and showing curiosity about him. He doesn't seem to ask as much about me, so the curiosity feels a bit one-sided.

Is this just a communication style thing, or do you guys generally ask questions when you're genuinely curious about someone? Thank you.

EDIT #1: We met each other online and have been texting. But we've never called each other yet.

EDIT #2: Most of our topics aren't really that personal, more like intellectual stuff (occasionally mundane), and the conversation just flows naturally (at least for me, since I'm usually the one asking questions). But most of the time, I end up being the listener and don't really get to share my own thoughts. I don’t really feel the need to give unsolicited opinions either. I guess I'd share more if I felt like I was being asked to...

Idk his Enneagram but he appears like an INTJ 5w4 to me. Meanwhile, I am an INFJ 2w1.

Question People call me crazy just because I'm ask too many detailed and philosophical questions

Hey everyone

I'm a teenager and an INTJ I like to analyze things and ask deep, philosophical questions Because of this people around me call me crazy🙂.

Although I don't care what they say but it's strange why you should call someone crazy just because they think differently?

Concrete scenario: define Ni in a way that an ISTJ would understand. Make it as complex or simple as you want.

Question Hopping on this subreddit when stressed

I feel like every single time I'm stressed by the people in my life, I hope on here and feel better by reading y'all's experience. It's like looking at a self-reflection and you just immediately feel better like, "ah, I'm not alone in this". Do you guys feel the same?

Edit: Sorry if it looks like I'm seeking validation, I'm not at a good state in mind so I'm pretty desperate for validation crumbs lmao
