Video Come check out the demo of my game, where you'll travel to a very strange little town for a date with a girl you met online
Hey everyone!
I've been working on Midnight Souls, a dark-comedy horror adventure where an ordinary trip to Camomile Peaks can get pretty strange.
There are locals to meet, places to explore, odd things to find, and plenty of reasons to wonder what's actually going on here.
The demo is now available on Steam and covers the prologue and first chapter.

Promotion Beyond These Stars: A cosmic city builder set on the back of a sentient Space Whale!
Hey everyone! On behalf of the lovely development team at Balancing Monkey Games, we wanted to share that Beyond These Stars has released into 1.0 on Steam!
In Beyond These Stars, you build your city on the back of a sentient Space Whale named Kewa. In addition to all the usual aspects of city building (finding resources, managing supply chains, keeping your citizens happy), you also need to manage the sustainability challenges that come with building on a living creature. As your city and its needs grow, you must be careful not to tip the delicate balance of the ecosystem -- or else your Peeps might suffer the consequences.

Video Does this look interesting?
Before this gets flagged for promotion, I want to clarify that this is not promotion... this game does not exist and there is no game to promote. I'm just asking if this concept looks interesting.
I created an app to help set up and test different in-game physics scenarios and now I find myself having a lot of fun with it! So, I'm wondering could this stand alone as a small/cheap physics sandbox game?
Basically, you add objects to the environment and then apply different forces to them to get mesmerizing displays and patterns.
I would be interested in knowing if anyone else would play something like this?

Video After five months, I'm ready to share the trailer for my indie game toy, Treehouse.
Hi! I've been working on my game, Treehouse, since mid June. Today I finally published the Steam page, and I'm excited to finally share the trailer. It's just a teaser trailer, but I hope it gets the idea across well enough.
I started out just trying to learn how games I love, like Townscaper and Tiny Glade, are made and I had so much fun I just kept going. Similar to those games, in Treehouse you don't need to do anything, or fix anything. You just build and play and explore color and light and composition.
One thing I'm super proud of is that each tree is it's own music sequencer, and what you build on that tree is the music. Bass lines, chords, arpeggios, everything is written in real-time by what you build and where. (The music in the trailer was recorded while I built the treehouse in the trailer!)
There are still things to fix and add or polish, but the game should be coming out n the first few months of 2027. hopefully :D
Thanks for checking it out.

Upcoming EVE CROSS – A Third-Person Action Game Inspired by Max Payne | In Development (2)
The combat combines bullet time, dodge jumps, Gun-Fu, executions and close-quarters fighting, allowing Eve to quickly transition between shooting and physical attacks.
Encounters are designed around aggressive movement rather than staying behind cover, with a focus on making firefights feel stylish and cinematic.
EVE CROSS is currently in development.

Promotion I made a driving game where the hero cars are boxy daily drivers with the cornering grip of a shopping cart
Every racing game wants you to drive a Lamborghini that sticks to the road like it’s on rails. I wanted the opposite. I wanted body roll you can measure with a protractor. I wanted a police car so underpowered it has to take the chase personally. I wanted the thrill of nailing a corner in a loaded 600cc truck that was never meant to go that fast.
So I’ve been building an arcade driving game set in 1990s China, full of the boxy everyday workhorses nobody puts in games: delivery vans, boxy sedan taxis, city buses, the occasional very optimistic cop car. No grip. No downforce. No dignity. Every corner is a gamble with physics you will probably lose. The whole skill ceiling is driving a shitbox excellently.
SHIFU: Traffic Masters (车水马龙) is an open-world arcade driving game set in a 1990s northern Chinese city. Instead of supercars, you drive the humble trucks, taxis, buses and police cars that kept the city moving: cargo that shifts and spills, passengers who complain about rough driving, and suspects who bolt into traffic that never clears for you.

Upcoming Topica: A cozy open world exploration game made by a teenager. No assets, no AI content - a handcrafted indie game
Hi! I'm the developer of Topica, and as the title says, I'm a teenager who works as a solo game developer in my free time. I've been developing games since I was 10 years old, and now I've finished my first major project: Topica.
Topica is a cozy game in which you're stranded on an island called Tropi-Island and have to start a new life. You can build a house and furnish it. Grow carrots, wheat, and corn, and cook soup, make popcorn over a fire, or bake bread in the oven. Befriend animals, explore caves, forests, and deserts, and uncover the secrets of Tropi-Island.
There's so much to discover in Topica!
Topica is entirely handcrafted. I didn't use any pre-made assets and it includes no AI content. It took almost two years to develop, and now it's almost finished.
If you are interested in it and if you want so support me, you can wishlist Topica on Steam!

Personal Achievement I spent 4 days making a pizza, according to my 5-year-old
I'm a solo dev, and I've spent 4 days creating outlines for all 72 buildings of my incremental game, including specific outlines for each building upgrade. Some events also slightly change the outline of certain buildings.
They all come together on a village map that grows over time as you build and upgrade your village.
I was kind of happy and even a bit proud of how it turned out, to be honest.
Then my 5-year-old daughter passed by my work desk in the living room and asked, looking at the screen:
"Is that a pizza?"
So I guess I spent 4 days of work building a pizza.
But since she loves pizza, I'll take that as her seal of approval.

Upcoming I'm making a game about running a little magic item shop for witches and wizards!
Hey everyone!
I'm a solo dev working on a game called Made For Mages, where you run a little shop that crafts and sells magical items to witches and wizards.
The idea is to start with a really simple setup and slowly expand your business. You explore the world, gather resources, build machines, set up production lines, and craft the items your customers order.
As you progress, you'll unlock new machines, automate parts of your production, and eventually even buy your own truck to personally deliver orders around the world.
I'm trying to mix factory-building games with crafting, exploration, and management, but without the pressure of time limits or survival mechanics. I want players to be able to do things at their own pace.
I just finished the game's trailer, so I thought I'd share it here!
I'm also working on a demo! I've already submitted it to Valve, and it's currently going through Steam's review process. If everything goes well, it should be available soon!
And I wanted to ask for a little help: if you like the idea, please consider wishlisting the game on Steam! As a solo developer, every single wishlist really makes a difference. It's one of the best ways to help a small game get noticed and reach more people.
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5254130/
I'm making this whole thing on my own, and there's still plenty I want to improve, so I'd love to hear what you think of the idea and the trailer!
Thanks so much to anyone who takes the time to check it out or support the game!

Need Feedback Mo Mayhem
What if Metal Slug had Ikaruga inspired mechanics? What if the art direction was hand-drawn 90s cartoons? And what if instead of a gun, I make an homage to my cat, Mo? These are all inspirations for a work in progress I'm calling Mo Mayhem.
It's still very much in its infancy, but I do have the core mechanics fleshed out, the weapons designed and showcased here, and a few enemy types as I work towards a demo (hopefully the February 2027 nextfest).
I'd love to hear feedback, questions, and what your favorite/least favorite things are about the genre.

Promotion I'm making a cozy sorting incremental - 1 Million Books
And before anyone thinks that it's yet another Librarian clone - it's not! Just try it for yourself.
You can play it directly on itch: https://robinrossow.itch.io/1-million-books
You can chose between an active (recommended) and idle playstyle (upgrade tree) - right now you can play the first 8100 books, which takes around 1h!
A steam version is coming as well: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5324550/1_Million_Books/
The game is still WIP: I'd love to hear your feedback!

Promotion I'm making an online raccoon spear-fighting game
For now, your little raccoon only has a spear to defend itself, but it can do a lot with it: stab, throw it, disarm opponents, deflect other spears...
If you want to try it, I’m hosting a free public playtest on the weekend of October 23–25, with a little tournament! Over 300 people have already signed up, so you won’t run out of opponents.
If you'd like to drop by, you can hit the "Request access" button on the Steam page. Everything will be organized on the official Discord (french-speaking for now but english-speaking players are welcome).
Happy to have any feedback/answer any question!

Promotion Turning a raw wooden board into a finished piece in my woodworking sim
This is the core loop of Made by Hand, my upcoming first-person woodworking simulator.
Instead of navigating menus, you physically perform the full path: pencil marking, sawing, lathing parts, and sanding. The board literally turns into a finished item right in the player's hands. To finish the job without breaking the relaxing pace, you just snap a photo of the item for social media, and a delivery drone picks up the order.
If you like games that focus entirely on a pleasant, detailed manual process, I'd love your feedback!

Upcoming I am creating a psychological horror game that takes place inside a shopping mall
In Eternal Fracture, you play as officer T. A grieving police officer that gets dispatched to the Bayou Mall in Louisiana to reset a known malfunctioning security system. What was supposed to be just another late-night routine sweep turns into dread. The world is no longer your own. Rifts have opened and are causing chaos. Can you resolve the power struggle of this realm or be consumed by its shadows?
All assets, characters, and animations were completely designed by me in Blender.

Public Game Test I just released the demo for my anomaly horror game — Awake Or Sleep
I’m happy to finally say that the demo for my game, Awake or Sleep, went live yesterday.
I’ve been working on it for the past few months as a solo developer.
It’s a psychological horror / anomaly game where you wake up in a familiar place and have to pay close attention to your surroundings.
Things can move, disappear, appear where they shouldn’t, or change in subtle ways. Some days are normal. Some are not.
If everything looks right, you can go back to sleep and move on. If something feels wrong, you’ll need to find out what changed and decide what to do.
The demo includes:
• Different anomalies
• Nightmare events
• Enemies with their own behaviours and survival rules
• Hidden secrets
• Journal entries that slowly reveal the story
• Replayable events
• Support for 9 languages, including Arabic
The demo is currently available on https://rotogames.itch.io/awake-or-sleep-anomaly, and I’m planning to bring it to Steam next month.
Any feedback would genuinely mean a lot to me. I hope some of you give it a try.

Hey everyone!
My team and I have been developing SteelBlade Shop Simulator for over a year, and our playable demo is finally live on Steam!
If it looks like your kind of game, please give it a try! Leaving a Steam review and adding it to your Wishlist would be the biggest support you could give us.
It helps us a ton as we keep working to make the game even better.
Thank you so much for checking it out!

Upcoming I turned my music discography into a tiny 3D listening room you can walk around in (posting for a friend)
(Hi all! I'm posting this for a friend who unfortunately doesn't have enough karma to post himself)
I'm an electronic musician from Buenos Aires (JRNDM). Instead of a normal artist website, I built a small 3D room: a character, shelves full of records, and a turntable. You pick a record, the character walks over, puts it on, and sits down to listen.
It runs in the browser, it's free, and there's no signup. Here's the link!
I'd love to know what you'd add next: more interactions, more rooms, hidden stuff?
