Promotion If Keep on Mining was made by Housemarque... this would be the demo.
Take the unfolding surprises of A Dark Room, add the escalating craziness of games like Keep on Mining and the arcadey goodness of Astro Prospector.
Layer in the depth of systems, visceral gameplay, and polished aesthetics that our players love in Reality Break and think of how Housemarque would make that game.
The public demo launched this week on Steam!

Upcoming EVE CROSS – A Third-Person Action Game Inspired by Max Payne | In Development (2)
The combat combines bullet time, dodge jumps, Gun-Fu, executions and close-quarters fighting, allowing Eve to quickly transition between shooting and physical attacks.
Encounters are designed around aggressive movement rather than staying behind cover, with a focus on making firefights feel stylish and cinematic.
EVE CROSS is currently in development.

Video Come check out the demo of my game, where you'll travel to a very strange little town for a date with a girl you met online
Hey everyone!
I've been working on Midnight Souls, a dark-comedy horror adventure where an ordinary trip to Camomile Peaks can get pretty strange.
There are locals to meet, places to explore, odd things to find, and plenty of reasons to wonder what's actually going on here.
The demo is now available on Steam and covers the prologue and first chapter.

Video Does this look interesting?
Before this gets flagged for promotion, I want to clarify that this is not promotion... this game does not exist and there is no game to promote. I'm just asking if this concept looks interesting.
I created an app to help set up and test different in-game physics scenarios and now I find myself having a lot of fun with it! So, I'm wondering could this stand alone as a small/cheap physics sandbox game?
Basically, you add objects to the environment and then apply different forces to them to get mesmerizing displays and patterns.
I would be interested in knowing if anyone else would play something like this?

Promotion Beyond These Stars: A cosmic city builder set on the back of a sentient Space Whale!
Hey everyone! On behalf of the lovely development team at Balancing Monkey Games, we wanted to share that Beyond These Stars has released into 1.0 on Steam!
In Beyond These Stars, you build your city on the back of a sentient Space Whale named Kewa. In addition to all the usual aspects of city building (finding resources, managing supply chains, keeping your citizens happy), you also need to manage the sustainability challenges that come with building on a living creature. As your city and its needs grow, you must be careful not to tip the delicate balance of the ecosystem -- or else your Peeps might suffer the consequences.

Video After five months, I'm ready to share the trailer for my indie game toy, Treehouse.
Hi! I've been working on my game, Treehouse, since mid June. Today I finally published the Steam page, and I'm excited to finally share the trailer. It's just a teaser trailer, but I hope it gets the idea across well enough.
I started out just trying to learn how games I love, like Townscaper and Tiny Glade, are made and I had so much fun I just kept going. Similar to those games, in Treehouse you don't need to do anything, or fix anything. You just build and play and explore color and light and composition.
One thing I'm super proud of is that each tree is it's own music sequencer, and what you build on that tree is the music. Bass lines, chords, arpeggios, everything is written in real-time by what you build and where. (The music in the trailer was recorded while I built the treehouse in the trailer!)
There are still things to fix and add or polish, but the game should be coming out n the first few months of 2027. hopefully :D
Thanks for checking it out.

Promotion Turning a raw wooden board into a finished piece in my woodworking sim
This is the core loop of Made by Hand, my upcoming first-person woodworking simulator.
Instead of navigating menus, you physically perform the full path: pencil marking, sawing, lathing parts, and sanding. The board literally turns into a finished item right in the player's hands. To finish the job without breaking the relaxing pace, you just snap a photo of the item for social media, and a delivery drone picks up the order.
If you like games that focus entirely on a pleasant, detailed manual process, I'd love your feedback!

Upcoming Organic Bread
Hi all.
my name is Ben, and together with my buddies we are building Organic Bread - a retro blend universe of little creatures made out of bread. Today I want to share some screenshots from Organic Cemetery - a murder/investigation title, set in a small open world with tonnes of side quests.
You are you... the new groundskeeper in the valley's cemetery. You arrive late on a Sunday night and immediately stumble upon a dead body.. Without any idea who it is, and why you suddenly became a suspect, you have to undertake the arduous mission of finding out the truth. Over the course of 7 days you will be following clues, talking to people, talking to zombies, sneaking in a priests palace, washing a golden Maybach... Those are just a few of the things that we have developed for your pleasure. When bored you can even enjoy a round of golf on the priests private course.
A few words about me and the team: I have been a founder multiple times throughout the last 6 years. Some businesses were good, some didn't take off, one was even noticed by Forbes, who did a 3 page article on a gaming monetisation platform I was building. I know the pain, I know the struggle, I've pitched hundreds of investors and experienced the inner workings of investment funds - and (spoiler!) the word "Angel" next to someone usually means Devil.
We built this, so all of the frustrations that kept piling up over the years can finally release in the form of a humorous video game, for kids and adults alike.
The gameplay is projected for a total runtime of 4 hours (this includes all collectibles and side quests). Ps: we have also added a mini-game hidden in the church.. With an actual reward!
**How AI fits in.** We made the game using Claude Code, specifically Opus 5.5. Claude helped create a world building engine, a character designer and a interiors workshop to quickly create, arrange and rebuild entire worlds in our parallax pixel art aesthetic. Music and writing is 100% us.
The game is coming soon. Launch news goes up on our website, which I will share in the comments.
Excited to see what you guys think of the concept and screenshots. Happy to answer any and all questions!
PPS: The screenshots show the game in Polish. This is not a bug, but the game will also be in English.

Need Feedback Mo Mayhem
What if Metal Slug had Ikaruga inspired mechanics? What if the art direction was hand-drawn 90s cartoons? And what if instead of a gun, I make an homage to my cat, Mo? These are all inspirations for a work in progress I'm calling Mo Mayhem.
It's still very much in its infancy, but I do have the core mechanics fleshed out, the weapons designed and showcased here, and a few enemy types as I work towards a demo (hopefully the February 2027 nextfest).
I'd love to hear feedback, questions, and what your favorite/least favorite things are about the genre.

Upcoming I am creating a psychological horror game that takes place inside a shopping mall
In Eternal Fracture, you play as officer T. A grieving police officer that gets dispatched to the Bayou Mall in Louisiana to reset a known malfunctioning security system. What was supposed to be just another late-night routine sweep turns into dread. The world is no longer your own. Rifts have opened and are causing chaos. Can you resolve the power struggle of this realm or be consumed by its shadows?
All assets, characters, and animations were completely designed by me in Blender.

Promotion I made a driving game where the hero cars are boxy daily drivers with the cornering grip of a shopping cart
Every racing game wants you to drive a Lamborghini that sticks to the road like it’s on rails. I wanted the opposite. I wanted body roll you can measure with a protractor. I wanted a police car so underpowered it has to take the chase personally. I wanted the thrill of nailing a corner in a loaded 600cc truck that was never meant to go that fast.
So I’ve been building an arcade driving game set in 1990s China, full of the boxy everyday workhorses nobody puts in games: delivery vans, boxy sedan taxis, city buses, the occasional very optimistic cop car. No grip. No downforce. No dignity. Every corner is a gamble with physics you will probably lose. The whole skill ceiling is driving a shitbox excellently.
SHIFU: Traffic Masters (车水马龙) is an open-world arcade driving game set in a 1990s northern Chinese city. Instead of supercars, you drive the humble trucks, taxis, buses and police cars that kept the city moving: cargo that shifts and spills, passengers who complain about rough driving, and suspects who bolt into traffic that never clears for you.

Public Game Test I just released the demo for my anomaly horror game — Awake Or Sleep
I’m happy to finally say that the demo for my game, Awake or Sleep, went live yesterday.
I’ve been working on it for the past few months as a solo developer.
It’s a psychological horror / anomaly game where you wake up in a familiar place and have to pay close attention to your surroundings.
Things can move, disappear, appear where they shouldn’t, or change in subtle ways. Some days are normal. Some are not.
If everything looks right, you can go back to sleep and move on. If something feels wrong, you’ll need to find out what changed and decide what to do.
The demo includes:
• Different anomalies
• Nightmare events
• Enemies with their own behaviours and survival rules
• Hidden secrets
• Journal entries that slowly reveal the story
• Replayable events
• Support for 9 languages, including Arabic
The demo is currently available on https://rotogames.itch.io/awake-or-sleep-anomaly, and I’m planning to bring it to Steam next month.
Any feedback would genuinely mean a lot to me. I hope some of you give it a try.

Upcoming I'm making a game about running a little magic item shop for witches and wizards!
Hey everyone!
I'm a solo dev working on a game called Made For Mages, where you run a little shop that crafts and sells magical items to witches and wizards.
The idea is to start with a really simple setup and slowly expand your business. You explore the world, gather resources, build machines, set up production lines, and craft the items your customers order.
As you progress, you'll unlock new machines, automate parts of your production, and eventually even buy your own truck to personally deliver orders around the world.
I'm trying to mix factory-building games with crafting, exploration, and management, but without the pressure of time limits or survival mechanics. I want players to be able to do things at their own pace.
I just finished the game's trailer, so I thought I'd share it here!
I'm also working on a demo! I've already submitted it to Valve, and it's currently going through Steam's review process. If everything goes well, it should be available soon!
And I wanted to ask for a little help: if you like the idea, please consider wishlisting the game on Steam! As a solo developer, every single wishlist really makes a difference. It's one of the best ways to help a small game get noticed and reach more people.
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5254130/
I'm making this whole thing on my own, and there's still plenty I want to improve, so I'd love to hear what you think of the idea and the trailer!
Thanks so much to anyone who takes the time to check it out or support the game!

Steam Next Fest The first person to play my game’s demo
Hey everyone. I released the demo for my psychological horror/drama game, The Sin of Fabien, and the first person to play it was my son.
He didn’t care about the atmosphere, he didn’t care about the puzzles I spent time making, and he definitely didn’t care about the story.
All he did was keep walking the character into walls and trying to get into places he wasn’t supposed to, then getting upset and asking why he couldn’t go there. I guess that’s just part of being 3 years old. :)
Oh, and at the end of the demo, he told his mom that he made the game himself and tried to take all the credit.
I guess instinctively he just wanted to tell his mom, “Look, I did it,” and show her what a capable little guy he is.

Video A detective mystery where you see through a dead researcher's eyes
Hi everyone! I'm an indie dev working on a detective mystery game.
You start by hunting down a researcher's ID. Once you find it, you can use it to access the field of vision of the researcher's corpse, and see the final moments through their eyes.
From there, you work out why and how the researcher died by piecing together what you see and the clues you find along the way.
Thanks for taking a look!

Promotion Title: I made a heist puzzle game where you only get one bullet. It just launched on Android!
I've been working on The One Bullet Job in Godot, and it's finally out!
The idea is simple: you've got one bullet, a room full of guards and a bag of cash to steal. The tricky part is figuring out how to get everything done without getting caught.
What started as a little puzzle prototype ended up becoming 120 levels across 20 chapters.
It's my second Android release, and I'm pretty pleased to have got it over the finish line.
Here's a bit of gameplay from the finished game!
