38M, I'm directly on the border with Detroit but on the Canada side and only looking to date in Canada for the most part.

My main issues were that people on profile reviews as well as 2 girls from the app, whom I've asked, have said I look 5'6 rather than 6'2 on my profile.

I added the pic of me on the street and the pic of me on my bike with my feet flat on the ground to try and fix that.

And otherwise, which photos should stay and which should be swapped out for better ones?

The cat one is the only one I know I'm going to be swapping out because of the wild lighting right now.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate it

Would love some feedback. Video is of me cliffdiving. I was a bit unsure of the racing photo. Should I swap it out?

Thank you!

Dating Question Texting/Cadence Working Through Dates

M33, had a relatively good run of matches over the past two months, by up ticking my regular usage and engaging quickly to try and arrange dates if I feel a connection. Have to thank this sub for some general tips, and how to close in on a date quickly if chats go well.

This last week has converted into 4 dates which I’ve spread over the weekend and early next week. This in itself might be a terrible idea. One is a follow up second date (F29) and the other are new first dates (F28/32/33) with a spread of personalities, very grateful for this - but I’m trying to reconcile texting cadence and setting up the dates, it’s starting to seem like it can vary so much and I’m trying to gauge if narrowing my efforts would be a better approach.

The problem I’m wrestling with is the second date has really low cadence/availability text wise, we’ve been averaging one/two messages a few days this week and that’s simply been trying to get her availability and agree where we’re going, we have a plan but it took a while to get there - I’ve not really had someone (friend or romantic) text this slow before. For the first date we didn’t really have this issue and she came back pretty quick over one day. Trying to decide if this is a sign of disinterest (it feels that way) or just life getting in the way, I know some people aren’t big on messages but since she proposed the day/time I’m giving the benefit of the doubt, since she had an easy chance to just say she wasn’t feeling it or didn’t want to follow up and hasn’t so far.

On the flip side for two of the first dates we had a much bigger flurry of texts initially, nailed availability and date spots - felt ideal, and we haven’t texted since, which is usually what I experience until we meet. The final date arrangement was similar but she seems to be into heavy/daily messaging, every evening getting a lot of updates - this is fine, but we haven’t met yet and I’m worried we’ll run out of steam/burn through all the things we might talk about during the date…

So in essence I’d love to get feedback on experiences, maybe I’m reading too much into this and just need to ride the variability?

Update for anyone following: lesson learned - always trust your gut. The slow texts were indeed disinterest, she let me know she’s decided to cancel about a day after her last message.

I’ve been on the app for almost 3 years swiping pretty regularly and have received about 2 likes ever. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong. My profile has been reviewed and iterated and edited by several friends. Was looking for any obvious red flags that you can see, other than me being on the chubbier side.

I’m looking for honest feedback on how to improve my profile, particularly my photos and overall presentation, to attract more of the type of women I’m interested in.

Edit: Should I get the more premium versions of hinge?

I have been using Hinge in India for more than a month now and haven't had any success with this profile. I have even subscribed to HingeX but still not receiving any likes or matches. Can anyone help me out if there's anything I need to change, would really appreciate any feedback.

App Question Hinge Premium for 2 Months, Using Passport Mode, and Still Getting Zero Responses. What Am I Doing Wrong?

Hey everyone,

I'm a 27-year-old guy from South Asia, and I wanted to share my experience with Hinge and get some honest advice.

I've been using Hinge's Passport Mode to set my location in different parts of the world because I'd like to connect with people from other countries and see where things go.

I've tried both Hinge+ and HingeX over the past two months. I've also been sending likes with comments and using Priority Likes, hoping that my profile would get more visibility and that people might be more likely to notice me.

However, the experience has been pretty disappointing so far. I'm not getting any likes or messages, and none of the people I've sent likes to have responded.

I understand that dating apps can be difficult, and I'm not expecting everyone to be interested in me. But after paying for premium features and trying for two months, I'm wondering whether there's something wrong with my profile or whether using Passport Mode from South Asia makes it harder to get matches.

For those who have used Hinge Passport Mode, especially people dating internationally:

Does Passport Mode actually work for building connections in other countries?

Does being located in South Asia affect your chances of getting matches abroad?

Are Priority Likes and comments worth using?

What can I do to improve my profile and get more responses?

I'd appreciate honest feedback and suggestions. I'm willing to improve my profile, but I want to understand what I'm doing wrong before spending more money on premium features.

Thanks!
