This is a cry for help lmao. I previously had ultra boosts but cannot find ANY in my size in the entire country since they have been discontinued.

I have a very narrow long foot. Any recs/advice are helpful.

We've all been there. You get to the set you've been waiting for all night, or all festival a luttle early. You get set up in the crowd, with your little spot and about 6 inches in front of you to move and dance. A half an hour into the set, someone or someones come in and decide that 6 inches look good to them and they crowd you out. I know the crowd is always shifting and it is part of the whole experience but some times are more egregious than others. Has anyone figured out a good PLUR way to tell them to keep looking elsewhere or is it impossible to do politely? Does it change things if it is one or two people or an entire train?

As an aside, when I find a spot in the crowd, I always turn to the people behind me and give them a "thumbs up/thumbs down" gesture. If I get the thumbs down, I smile and nod and keep moving.

new gen raver, went to my first "rave" (local club in college town that had an edm night) and i had a lot of fun dancing in a crowd of 30 people (everyone else was standing around on their phones lol.) apparently though while doing so some girl told my girlfriend that she needed to get away from me because my dancing was "super corny."

now i really don't care, most of the college kids care too much about being embarrassed (everyone recording everything doesn't help) but im more concerned about how one dances in a rave? is there a particular style of dancing im not aware of? is there dancing etiquette i could've broke?

also i know now to not hit up a college club for raves. definitely going up to austin next time.

Hey there! First time poster and new to the rave scene! Me and my girlfriend are looking for a rave in or near Indianapolis IN but don’t know where to look… any suggestions?

I met this guy on Hinge, and we’ve only had a few conversations so far, mostly about techno and raves. He suggested going to see a German techno group together for our first date (11pm to 3am), and I said yes! He’s already bought two tickets, which is exciting.
The plan is to grab a drink or a bite beforehand and then head to the rave. I’m excited because he seems like my type in a lot of ways, and finding someone who genuinely loves techno and raving is actually pretty important to me. In a way, this feels like a great opportunity to see whether we’re compatible in an environment we both enjoy.
At the same time, I’m a little nervous because we’ve barely talked, and I have no idea what the vibe will be like in person. I usually don’t mind going to raves solo, so it’s not really the event itself that makes me nervous. It’s more the idea of navigating a first date in that setting, figuring out how comfortable I’ll feel around him, whether we’ll have chemistry, and whether it might be a little too much when we’re still getting to know each other.
I’m also planning to take it easier than I normally would in terms of substances because I want to be present and see how we actually vibe.
I guess I’m excited but also overthinking how the night will go. Has anyone had a rave as a first date? Did it work out, or would you recommend keeping first dates a little more low-key? I’d love to hear your experiences!

A list of reasons why raving will always make me feel right at home.

- bumping into someone while dancing too hard, then they turn around and start dancing with you

- dance circles

- people drinking/smoking/other stuff etc. sounds weird, but its nice that there’s a safe place to explore these things where you know that if something goes wrong, you’ll be taken care of.

- strangers looking out for each other in any way

- slutty/skimpy/wacky/crazy outfits. there’s not a lot of places you can dress like that publicly and safely without a sexual context.

- hearing screams, woops, ayyys, any sound of someone enjoying the music or the crowd connecting with each other through vocals

- taking pictures of themselves or each other

- people kissing. im so happy theyre in love and feeling each other’s souls in the moment

- people crying/having a moment and being held or comforted by the people around them

- watching new connections being formed through compliments

- hearing everyone playing edm in their cars on the way home

- people dancing in “weird” or “ugly” ways. they’re so free and unbothered. i love it

Hello, i’ve been going to raves lately but i find myself worrying about my belongings getting stolen or just not comfortable with all my stuff in my pockets.

So i’ve been looking for a rave/sling bag, any recommendations?

I don’t want a very big one. I would like it to hold a water bottle and is cross body and comfortable.

Every time I go to a festival, I seem to run into the same type of group. A bunch of guys and girls who stand in a circle, taking up as much space as possible and squeezing everyone around them out

Then smoking, randomly screaming “AY AY AY AY” (especially this shit drives me insane when it’s not even remotely on beat), pulling out their sneaky alcohol and chatting loudly/scrolling phone ,half the time, they’re not even paying attention to the music, completely disconnected from whatever the DJ is doing

And the most annoying part? You move away to find another spot, and several minutes later you run into another group doing the exact same shit. Honestly, I wish these people would just go back to their commercial clubs and VIP tables(You can tell exactly what kind of crowd they are)

I used to go to pretty much any show if there was a DJ I liked on the lineup. Now I’m starting to care a lot more about the crowd, the atmosphere, the sound system and whether I’ll actually enjoy being there. A good DJ alone isn’t enough to make an event worth it. I’d rather be more selective and spend my time & money on events where people are actually there for the music and the experience😡

Can someone please explain to me how are these mfs still stuck in 2013 listening to skrillex and dubstep at their festivals where they probably had to pay at least 300 $ to get in.

And I'm not even talking some niche small underground events. Like this is their actual main biggest scene right now.
