Alpha went on the road — and Halifax got absolutely spoilt.

The full Alpha crew rolled out from their home base at The Plaza, Huddersfield, and took over the Victoria Civic Theatre for one huge night of 90s rave magic. And they didn't come alone — Monsoon & Festa, repping Halifax, joined the party for a proper hometown showcase.

But let's talk about the venue...

The Victoria Theatre is a stunning, historic 1,512-seat beauty that's been the cultural heartbeat of Calderdale for well over a century. Picture it: chandeliers and ornate balconies upstairs, a wall of bass and a sea of party people downstairs. Classy on the outside, ABSOLUTELY WILD on the inside.

A grand old theatre turned full-on rave temple for one special night. This is exactly what the 90s were about — taking the magic out of the clubs and into the most unexpected places.

We have three journeys booked, launch night taking us back to the opening night of Cream at Nation.
Each journey a different genre over an extended set of 3-4 hours and the chance for someone starting out to play alongside someone with 25+ years in the game.
After Norwich we move on to 5 more cities 💜

This weekend we went to Housework at the Ministry.

Me and my wife are both late '40s nearly 50 and we haven't been to a rave for years.

We had such a good time. It was incredible, the vibe was so friendly. Lots of people chatting, dancing. Just an incredible time that takes me back years and years.

What other options, club nights/events in the UK would be a similar demographic?

Also, just to emphasise, I completely understand that younger crowds would be just as welcoming.

It was just quite nice and refreshing not being the oldest people in the room 😂

I went to ADE last year and loved the vibe. Planning to go this year too. Any UK ravers going and probably want to join us?

There are only 3 of us so far, all in our late 20s and early 30s. My friends who are into raving live in different cities now, so I’d love to meet more like-minded people and experience ADE with a bigger group! 🖤

I'm going to see Mr traumatik, devilman, serial killaz and some other dnb artists but it's a club and Google's saying it'll be usual UK night club dress code so no joggers track pants or hats and my usual fit is baggy track pants T-shirt and a hat as I can stay cool while I'm off my pickle so what else am I meant to wear?
