Satire/Humor This was hilarious š
I have a guy friend, we chat and hang out on occasion. We're both foreigners living in China (he's from Mexico, I'm from the USA) and we have some stuff in common and he's been pretty cool. We were planning on having coffee tomorrow, but earlier today I got this message from him. We never discussed romance or our relationship status. I have a girlfriend, but it hadn't come up, and there wasn't anything flirty about our dynamic, but I apparently missed the fact that he's been on the verge of trying to cheat on his wife with me? I don't think I want to be friends with him anymore. This is weirder and weirder the more I think about it, but also kind of hilarious.

Text I hope I can find a girl who actually likes DOING things with me NSFW
I'm so sick of relationships that, once they get serious, just become her just wanting to come over to do basically nothing and then have sex. I love cuddling, I love downtime and lazing around, but all anyone seems to wanna do with me is come over and bide their time until I'm down to have sex.
Like it turns into them only coming over for sex and not really wanting to do anything else together and they just wanna skip to the reward they get for spending time with me.
Then if they spend time with me that day and I don't wind up wanting to have sex (like honestly why would I, you've done nothing but quietly lay around and not even really talk to me) they act like they're so disappointed and I'm not like... idk, meeting their expectations?
I want someone who can manage to be even more kind and caring and interested in actually being with me than my friends are and not just give up once we start having sex.
Idk how yall are finding people willing to do something together without being rewarded with sex. Maybe someday, who knows

Question Would you be ok with a partner who canāt drive?
I have an anxiety disorder that prohibits me from driving, if I got behind the wheel my anxious thoughts would start swirling so much that Iād be incapable of focusing on the road which is obviously dangerous for me and everyone else
Iām moving soon to a mostly walkable city with some public transport necessities, but last night I had a nightmare that I had a partner and she got in a bad car accident and I had to get an uber driver to rush me to the hospital to visit her and it took an hour because of traffic and I felt awful
In the nightmare when I got to the hospital the nurses were very accomodating and calmed me down before letting me see her and she woke up while I was hugging her and hugged me back
But the whole thing kinda made me worried about the possibility, and it also makes me worry that any potential partner wouldnāt want that to be a risk
ETA: Thanks to most of you for your kind responses, I grew up with neglectful parents so when I ask something and see people genuinely just being kind itās always a very nice feeling
And no I donāt plan to force her to drive me all the time, thatās honestly the main reason I want to live somewhere walkable and robust public transport wise, the only problem that it might bring is if weāre going on a road trip, in that case sheās gotta drive
Researching thereās a bus to the nearest airport so I can get around mostly fine on my own

Link This is such a bigger deal to me than I thought it would be
It means so much to me that we finally have a lesbian in mainstream media, who confidently sings about being with women. I got emotional watching this for the first time, because Chappellās whole part in the song is always directed at women and for her to be singing like that in a song with a popular artist like Olivia Rodrigo, someone mainly in straight spaces, itās really amazing. It makes me think about all the straight girls who never really saw lesbians as their own, who saw them as an āotherā, and it makes me happy knowing theyāll watch this video and see how normal it is and how itās something to be celebrated rather than something to be fearful of or weirded out by.
This probably sounds stupid but itās not just a pop music collab to me, itās a symbol of how lesbians and straight girls donāt have to avoid each other. It shows that we are all the same, and we should be loving each other and collaborating and celebrating each other!
Growing up as a fem lesbian, I often felt unwanted or unwelcome around other feminine straight girls. It felt like they didnāt like me, or like they would never understand me. This collaboration shows people like me that it can happen, and it shows straight girls that lesbians are just other girls, not some avoidable anomaly.

Satire/Humor Trans GF gender dysphoria prevention;
Step one; dress her as a pretty princess
Step two; become a knight
Step three; hire a dragon for a day
Step four; defeat said dragon
Step five; carry her bridal style while the cave collapses behind us
Step six; adopt, like, five cats
Any notes??? I'm willing to be the princess if she's butch though!

Venting Is anyone else tired AF of people using ālesbianā as an insult?
Iām so sick of it. Iām so over men being called ālesbianā in a derogatory manner on basis of their features/appearance. Iām tired of men saying that they are practically lesbians (cough Marcello cough) just because they were raised by women. Iām at my limit with hetero women saying someone ālooks like a lesbianā due to their fashion choices.
But people love to watch lesbian porn, right?
Super done šš½

Venting Basic human interaction
It can be very meaningful when people treat me like a human being and be kind to me , i am a hijabi i was forced to wear it for the sake of my education by my father . Well i live far away from him but still my life feel meaningless and miserable when i wear the hijab no one want to talk to me people look at me in a very strange gaze as if i have done something wrong to them , i lived a double life to feel like a human again where i go to a different city and take the hijab off and feel like a woman just for few hours and socialise in wlw spaces . Nonetheless i still feel like my mental health is taking a dark turn since i am dealing with everything in my life (education, work , family issues) . All i want is to be happy and not threaten when i do something that feels right for me .
I want to be treated with respect and dignity
Many thanks if you read this post.

Question Having trouble with the meaning of sex. NSFW
What does sex mean to you? What is it meant to do in a relationship?
I started dating recently, and started engaging in sexual acts. But through this Iāve realized that my convictions about sex are kind of messed up.
Iāve mainly consumed straight or gay porn and media which Iāve come to realize has skewed my outlook on what sex is supposed to do in a relationship.
Iāve gotten told I get really quiet and serious during sex, which is weird because I usually blabber and joke around.
Iāve also thought about this and why I do this.
One of the reasons is Iām confused about what I want to do and if Iām good at it.
Thats the first mistake I realized I made. Sex is supposed to be explorative, and fun right?
Iām still not fully understanding why and how etc.
maybe someone can give me some info or examples? I really need to stop thinking this way.
Itās hurting me and my potential partners

For those who have had partners with mental health issues, how did you know it was time to break up?
I'll keep it short. My partner and I have been having communication issues where it's the same pattern over and over again. I have a feeling this stems from past trauma. I do my best to be patient, calm, asking for their side, trying to come to a solution together, etc. I tried to ask what they would like for me and how they would like to feel supported. But it seems like every time we have a conversation, they shut down or they take it personally or some other negative experience that just weighs on the relationship.
I've asked for outside opinions, and I'm going to ask my therapist tomorrow. So far, nobody has been able to pinpoint why this is happening on their end or what I'm doing wrong on my end.
I don't know whether I should be looking at couples therapy or if I should just politely tell them that I think we need to separate for a while. We have been together almost a year. Outside of this, our relationship is pretty good. But this makes me feel emotionally drained and like I'm walking on eggshells. No matter how much I change my approach, it never goes well.
I'm so tired, I could cry.

Why do so many mascs list āBratty/sassyā as one of the characteristics they are looking for in a femme on their dating profiles?
I have run into this over and over and over. What does that even mean? Do they want someone who will be mean to them? Or throw tantrums? What constitutes being bratty? Why do they want that? I am single, looking for a masc and am genuinely curious, not judging at all. Hoping for some answers from mascs who actually like this. FWIW, I have had several masc women tell me that they like it when their girlfriend is mad at them, including my ex, but I can say with 100% certainty that when she eventually DID make me mad, she did NOT like it.
