Sooooo I recently got prescribed, but I'm concerned that I've most likely been hondosed): and I just wanted opinions on my dose but, based on my own knowledge from lurking in this sub im like almost positive. as I approach 5 months of HRT I’ve been reading more and more about progesterone, I know I’m quite far from Tanner Stage 3 (I think), but since things are quite slow for DIY I figured out that I could as well ask now.

First of all, putting things in my ass is out of the question, I just won’t do it, so I was wondering if oral progesterone is even worth the potential side effects, I’ve read on here people talking about increased DHT and its side effects, or negative effects on mood and that kind of stuff. I know happy people are less likely to come here and talk about their wonderful experience with prog compared to the one who got side effects, but it doesn’t mean the negatives aren’t to be considered.

So, how likely are these side effects? Is oral prog good enough to provide the positives and outweigh the potential negatives?

I’m mostly talking about the positives in terms of tanner stages, I’ve read some people saying that it is even necessary to reach Stage 5.

And don’t suggest to put things in my ass pls

recently I've done bloodwork and got unexpected high E levels and am now wondering. It jumped from ~150 to ~400 pg/ml and can't explain it, since I haven't changed the vial, the injection site, the bloodwork date, or the dose.

My history: 4mg EEN SubQ into the belly every Saturday; Bloodwork always Fridays; ~25 years old; MtF

Fist dose: May 26 (0 weeks after first dose) with booster, so calculated by estrannai.se the levels schould be fine after 2 weeks

Fist test: June 26 (4 weeks after first dose) (with a male reference shown)

E: ~150pg/ml

T: ~0.4ng/ml

Second test: October 26 (19 weeks after first dose) (with a female reference shown)

E: ~400ng/l (=pg/ml)

T: ~0.15 qm/l (=ng/ml)

FSH: <0.3IU/l

LH: ~0.35IU/l

Officially I take 2mg Estrifam pills and 100mg Spiro. I also go to a planed parenthood clinic, so hrt is officialy documented for things like hair removal or future operations. This time I got lucky because the doctor hasn't asked questions about the level, only said that they are good, slightly too high, but nothing to worry or to change. But tbh, I don't trust them with anything.

Currently, I think I'm good. Mood is good, boobs are growing (slightly), the equipment still works, hair comes back, libido is reduced, more need for social interaction and some say, my face has changed a bit. Also I get something like phantom period symptoms once a month for about 1-2 days.

But to my main questions:

- Is this normal?

- Would you reduce the dose?

- How to explain to doctors if questions are asked?

- Are phantom periods real and if yes, do they interfere with hormones? (because the last test was done near the day these sympoms appeared)

okay so I'm not sure if it's because of hrt or some other issues so just asking for confirmation but some random muscles are getting softer/loser lately

in the first week it were the calves and now just last night i got a really bad stomach ache for some reason but by the morning it was gone and the belly area is softer than usual

and afaik any of the major changes doesn't usually happen during the early stage so I'm a bit concerned if im having some actual problem and need to see a doc or it's just e doing it's stuff

So I posted that I can't get with anyone about HRT, no doctors, Planned Parenthood, nothing... And I got sent this Reddit feed. I've always been told DIY, especially with your hormones, will kill you. I'm a paramedic, so I'm pretty involved with the medical field, and I still dont quite understand why this is such an issue in the US. But like...? Legit? Have I waited 5 years for nothing?

For reference, I literally begin shaking and thrashing out when I see needles. It's so bad I'm banned from donating blood in some local locations. I bit someone last time I got shots. I'm literally shaking just thinking about needles.

I'm doing everything I need to on the mental health end (exposure therapy is helping a bit) but what can I do in terms of materials? Practices? To make sure I don't freak out and hurt myself. It is possible to get someone else to inject me if need be.

Is it common courtesy to not publicly disclose and otherwise kind of gatekeep where you got your hormones from? like to protect the websites from being taken down or something of that sort? because i'm a little new to the diy hrt community, and i feel as though i've seen people avoid namedropping. just wanna make sure so i don't end up saying something i shouldn't

im 2 months in on my HRT and currently doing 8mg pills daily, iv had very good body reactions my breasts are currently a 48C and my butt has noticably grown aswell as the softness in my hands and the thickness of my lips.

I just got my estradiol spray and am so excited to start! I’ve read so many forms and opinions that are years old. I’m looking to do mono therapy for now. I need some advice!
My spray is about 1mg per spray and it was suggested I spray 2x/ 2x a day, 12hr apart on the inner thigh. A total of 4 mg a day.
Im so eager to hit the ground running. Im worried this won’t be effective enough. A lot of people say it’s most effective to apply scrotaly. My thoughts
5am - shower, apply 1 dose inner thigh and 1 scrotal before work.
3:30 ish - shower after work/ 1 dose scrotal
9:30 ish - clean area/ 1 does inner thigh, 1 does scrotal.
5mg ish every day. Thoughts? Advice?

I recall once being called from customs to ask me what was inside a package from Peru and then ask me to pay taxes for it, i just ordered a vial from symphony UK warehouse, what am i supposed to say if customs calls me? I know the stealth label says peppermint oil, should i say that? i've read some people say it's just better to say u know nothing abt the package if they call u and just take the loss.

Hello i started HRT last month on 28th and while im happy i finally manage to get on HRT since every EU seller for vials was sold out i decided to get on pills atleast and not still wait i have a question about whether im not wasting my pills.

i dont have that much "money" and basically if i would take the pills as i wanted which would be 4mg a day + 100mg spiro i would run out of it in a month and then i would not hjave anything for some time, was recommended i should try taking it sublingually the pill i mean so i split it on half and take one each 12 hour however its been 2 weeks and i dont feel/see anything different and im afraid im just wasting my pills. Should i just "quit" HRT and get on it once i have more pills and can have higher doses?

i wouldnt mind if things would be just slower with the dose i have now but i see alot of folks report that it takes days to see some signs and here i am over 2 weeks in with no things :(

Heyy, first dose after a 2 year break after my parents found my mones. Quick question ,4mg of a 40mg/ml EEn vial is 10 Units in a U-100 syringe right?😭 Also my syringe only goes up to 50 units but im pretty sure that doesn’t change anything right. I know that this has been asked before but I have a few more questions first even after reading about it I'm still not sure if there's anything you need to do differently with subQ, do I need to do smaller doses more frequently or is 6mg every 7 days still good? Second is there any other places to do subQ other than tummy fat? Because I take an acidic medication there and Im worried about it degrading the E

I’m not using antiandrogens because it’s monotherapy, I think my testosterone is going down well, in a few days I’ll be a month old, is it a good dose for monotherapy or not?

I have about 2/3 vials that’ll last me 2 years or so and am wondering how long I can store them? Do they expire overtime? Lose potency? How does it work?

Long story short I'm a twenty year old trans woman in an extremely transphobic third world country so I have to diy- HRT.

I previously was able to buy HRT and ship in to my country around January this year but three month in it started leaking so I had to throw away the vial. I suspect this was because I was using the wrong sized drawing needles.

Now that I'm trying to get access to HRT again the site I was using to but crypto (Binance) is now telling me its unable to accept my card, google pay isn't working and due to where I live doing a back transfer doesn't seem possible. Ive already tried getting a new card it does not worse.

What course of action can I take to get hrt? and what Size syringe should I use for drawing in the future?

Tomorrow I'll do my first injection and i just wanted to be sure about dosages, i want to take 4mg estradiol enanthate weekly and it should equate to 0.1 ml in the syringe right?

I've got everything ready to start injections soon, but I've heard conflicting information on if I should start on a high or low dose. The two main things I've heard are that starting on a high dose can cause breast pain/irregular development, but also that starting on a low dose causes your levels to be less consistent which is also bad for development.

Additionally, should I do my injections every 10 days or weekly? My partner does every 10 days but I've heard that doing them weekly is better for consistent levels. It would also be easier to manage and schedule, but of course all comes at the cost of having to do them more regularly and needing to spend more money on needles.

My last concern is that I had my vial through the UK summer heatwave, where my room was 30C-40C for about 2 weeks straight. It was in the box the entire time so not exposed to sunlight, is there any risk that the heat damaged it?
