I have always voted so my voice is heard, but this time I simply don't see ANY party I want in power:

Conservatives are in a state of disarray and voting for them will invite US interference
Greens are an option, but I honestly don't believe their leader is strong enough to deal with the US war we are currently involved in
NDP said they will put a tax on the rich - which will only make them leave the province and invest their money elsewhere. As well as Eby being the ass that thought this was a good time for an election.

I am seriously considering writing in "none of the above" for the first time in my over 60 years.

Just a few Amanitas

Title, is there any pizza places in surrey like viva sues style of pizza

Hi all,

A previous tenant left a bunch of junk behind and I'm trying to dump it properly.

He left behind:

- Old shoes

- card board boxes with lumber cutoffs

- clay pots with soil

- drywall cut offs

Is there a place I can take it all?

Surrey Mayor-elect Doug McCallum appeared alongside former mayors Dianne Watts and Linda Hepner at an event in Newton, where they endorsed Lorne Doerkson and the BC Conservatives.

It's interestin to see three Surrey mayors from different administrations publicly backing the same provincial party. Is this less about party and more about locking in those two new commitments,a new hospital and Skytrain to Newton?

Does an endorsement like this move votes this close to Saturday?

Hey everyone! I’m 31M, living in Surrey, and looking to meet some new people and build a good circle of friends.
A lot of my existing social circle has gotten married and settled into their own routines, and I’ve realized I need to get out of the house more instead of just working all the time.

I’m a realtor and into business, investing, cars, and flipping stuff on the side. I’m pretty easygoing and can talk about almost anything, but honestly, I’m not looking to network or talk business 24/7.
I just want to meet some chill people to grab coffee with, go for drives, explore new food spots, hit the gym, go on random adventures, or just hang out and talk about life. Nothing complicated, just genuine friendships and having something to do outside of work and home.
Ideally, looking to meet people around Surrey, Langley, or the Lower Mainland, preferably around my age, but I’m open to meeting anyone I vibe with.
If you’re in a similar situation and looking to get out more, feel free to DM me. Maybe we can get a small group together and plan something sometime.

Wondering if anyone can advise me where I can get some pro bono immigration advice. These are fairly simple questions that I need concrete answers. They really don't warrant paying an overpriced immigration lawyer. Randeep Sarai's office is absolutely useless. I could go on for an hour about them I think a letter to Carney would be more useful.

Any advice who I could reach out to in the Surrey area would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been having a difficult time finding out what each candidate was offers. All the news articles I read say the same thing: a whole lot of buzz words that mean nothing.

I want to be educated when making my choice. And so far, I feel like what I’m reading is offering the illusion of being educated without actually telling me anything.

So, any good resources? I’ll even take personal opinion, especially since I know what a politician says doesn’t necessarily translate over to what they’ll do. I want to know what they’re offering, their past, their parties overarching goals, etc. I just want to feel I’ve made the best choice based on the information available.

Hey everyone!

Got plans tonight? 👀

We’re hosting another Board Game Night in Surrey, and we have just 2 spots left!

We’ll be playing games like Codenames, Spyfall, Avalon, Wavelength and more. No experience needed, we’ll explain the rules!

Coming solo? That’s totally fine! Most of us are here to meet new people anyway. 😊

I live in Fraser Heights but my kids don't go to an elementary school that is a feeder school for Fraser Heights Secondary. Is it difficult to get them enrolled even though we live in catchment? From what I've found so far, it's not a guarantee and they could be placed at another school while being on a waitlist. Does anyone know how likely they would be placed at another school?

I used to study at the Sfu surrey campus but they’ve recently started asking for sfu id after 10pm and I don’t go there.🥲 Im looking for so good recommendations that are open until late, past 12.

Hi yall I hope this kinda post is allowed. I've moved quite a bit over the past few years and haven't updated my address on everything. Would appreciate some help just to know whether im good in the election process or not!

I was registered to vote at my last place in Vancouver, so my provincial election voting card was sent there and I will be picking it up tomorrow. However, the address on my Driver's License is for a different Vancouver address, and my new and current address is in Surrey. When I go to polls, will they be looking for proof of me living at the address that my voter card was sent to in Vancouver?

Or will it just be okay for me to say I've moved, show my license as just photo ID, and my residential lease/rental agreement as proof of my current address?

Ty in advance for the help!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I’m applying to x ray tech school. And I saw Eden Brook College has a program for x ray. I double check the CAMRT website and its listed as a credited school. I wanted to ask if anyone has attended this program or if its legit? If you have attended this school what is your experience?

Hello, I am a nurse and I’m looking for someone that does nails at Midnight. I know it’s an odd time but this is when I like to get things done and when my shift is over.

I’m located in the Metro Vancouver & Fraser Valley area

Looking for Gel X nails

I am open to having a nail technician to come to my residence .

Hi everyone,
I was involved in an incident at the intersection of 142 Street and 64 Avenue on October 12 between approximately 3:55 PM and 4:00 PM.
My vehicle is a white 2019 Honda Civic.
If you live near that intersection and have a doorbell camera or exterior home security footage facing the street, or if you happened to be driving through the area with a dashcam around that window, please send me a DM. Any video would be a massive help for the ICBC claim.
Thank you so much to anyone who can take a moment to check their recordings!

I’m looking for recommendations for a hairstylist in the Lower Mainland who specializes in men’s soft, loose wavy perms. I want natural S-shaped waves that flow backward in a slicked-back style, not tight curls, ringlets, or forward-facing perms. I’ve checked several salons but haven’t found anyone showcasing this specific style. Does anyone have personal experience or recommendations for a skilled stylist?

I’m willing to travel anywhere in Metro Vancouver, and quality matters more than price. Thanks!
