The Future of the Franchise -- College Prospect Watch Discussion Thread
The Steelers are probably going to draft some college players in April. It's the worst kept secret in Pittsburgh sports since Jerome Bettis being from Detroit.
Whether LaNorris Sellers is your guy -- or you think Julian Sayin is actually going to be good for some reason -- discuss it here. No player is too obscure to be discussed.
It's also ok to use this thread as a catch-all thread for all college football news/games/prospects.

Weekly Trash Talk Thread
The Browns? They suck. The Bungles? Awful. The Ravens? They can eat it.
Throw all the logical football talk out the window and remind fans of this week's opponent why their team is inferior.
Fans of all teams are also welcome to come here and talk trash as well.

The Buccaneers game.
I'm a fellow Floridian but a DIE HARD Steelers fan, this is my 2nd ever game. I went to Pennsylvania in December of 2024, for the browns game and we won. đ€ I'll be in section 334 with my friend tomorrow, I was curious if anybody else on here was going? Not to be weird, but I wouldn't mind meeting other Steelers fans. đȘđŸđȘđŸđȘđŸđȘđŸ

Paris Protests!
2nd full day in Paris. Yesterday we spent the day walking around the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Never saw one protester. Today we walked from Champs-Elysees to Montmartre to see the Sacre-Coeur and only passed one protest march that was very small and peaceful. Obviously I canât speak for whatâs going on in the rest of the city because this is a very very large city that is very spread out. Iâll continue to update when I can.

I want this sweater. Does anybody know where I could find it?
Wore during Cowherâs retirement speech. I have admired this sweater for 20 years now, and I want to wear it for Halloween. Anybody have any clue where I might be able to find it?
Please and thank you đ

DK Metcalf is now listed as questionable for Sundayâs game.
At this rate, they are going to have to hold open tryouts for wide receivers.

Which Super Bowl XL Jersey To Grab!
YINZ! Iâm looking at one of these cool Mitch and ness Authentics, while theyâre on sale. The 3 Iâm looking at is Joey Porter, Troy, or Hines Ward.
Ward has been one of my fav receivers and is the most Super Bowl XL relevant here (being the MVP)
Troy is legendary obviously, but I feel like he was kinda quiet in this Super Bowl, so does it carry the same significance? But again itâs Troy, so I donât think it can go wrong.
Joey I didnât connect with as much when I was young watching this Super Bowl, and he was quiet in the particular game, but the 55 looks clean, this feels like the deeper cut pick.
Canât decide all cool in their own way, which would you pick? (Bettis isnât on sale, but I think I could technically exchange one of these for it, same with a black 75th anniversary patch Troy, so we can throw those in for fun too)
Which would you pick?

Giving away 2 FREE Steelers vs Saints Paris tickets to a Pittsburgh fan traveling to France
EDIT: Iâm just getting off work now, so I havenât had a chance to go through all the comments and messages yet. I promise Iâll read through everything and pick someone by 8 PM tonight. Appreciate everyone being patient with me. đ€đ
I have two tickets for the Steelers/Saints game in Paris on October 25 that Iâm not going to be able to use.
I tried going through the Ticketmaster France resale process, but because Iâm in the US and donât have a supported European bank account, itâs turned into way more trouble than itâs worth. So Iâd rather just give them to someone local who is actually making the trip.
2 tickets together â Bloc A2, Row 75, Seats 27 & 28.
The only catch is that I want these to go to someone from the Pittsburgh area who is genuinely traveling to France for the game. Iâm not trying to interrogate anybody, but Iâd ask for something simple showing youâre actually headed to Paris i.e. flight confirmation, hotel reservation, etc. You can obviously redact any personal or sensitive info.
Also, please donât claim these thinking you can flip them. These are PDF tickets (with my name on them) from Ticketmaster France and this isnât a situation where you can just throw them up on Ticketmaster US and resell them. Iâm giving them away specifically so a Steelers fan can actually use them.
If youâre interested, comment here or DM me and tell me who youâd be taking with you. Iâll pick someone and email the two PDF tickets directly.

[Exclusive] The Pittsburgh Steelersâ âdiva whispererâ secretly earned a doctorate while coaching NFL stars
In a world of subterfuge, trick plays and proprietary information, Adam Henry had a secret.
A veteran wide receivers coach, he kept his life outside football on a need-to-know basis. If a receiver dropped a pass or ran the wrong route, some might wonder whether the position coach was too consumed by his other pursuit. And if those in his other world knew he was a football coach, they might think he was getting preferential treatment.
Henry would neither be distracted nor become a distraction, a rule that extended even to his appearance. Now the wide receivers coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers, he has a clean-shaven head, immaculate teeth and a perfectly manicured goatee. He doesnât want anyone to lose focus on his message and the task at hand â until they crack a joke.
âThey say, âThatâs Mr. Potato Headâ because his goatee is so perfect,â his wife, Zita Henry, says. âThey say he snaps it on in the morning.â
Actually, itâs Dr. Potato Head.
Successful coaches develop reputations. You can be a âquarterback guru.â Great defensive play callers are labeled âmasterminds.â As for Henry, he became the diva receiver whisperer.
That title dates back at least a decade.
New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. went nuclear on Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman at the end of the 2015 season. The following season, Big Blue hired Henry, Beckhamâs position coach at LSU, hoping to reel Beckham in.
âWe joked about it, like heâs the only one who could keep me from being mad,â Beckham says now. âBut that wasnât really the case. I just loved and respected him as a coach. We kind of let them think that it was to corral or to calm me down or whatever.â
After two years with the Giants, Henry joined the Cleveland Browns. The Browns traded for Jarvis Landry, another LSU receiver. The next year, they dealt for Beckham.
Henry spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons with Mike McCarthyâs Dallas Cowboys, and the next year at the University of Indiana.
When Sean McDermott needed a new receivers coach in Buffalo for 2023, he researched Henry, who spent the previous season as Indianaâs co-offensive coordinator. Stefon Diggs was Buffaloâs star receiver then.
âThe wide receiver room on the whole, thatâs a unique room in and of itself,â McDermott says. âHim being kind of a wide receiver whisperer, thatâs important to any staff, to any team. And Adamâs had success doing that in multiple buildings, not just one. Thatâs a testament to him and his ability to communicate, care for the players, build those key relationships, and obviously have the football acumen to teach them and help them accomplish their goals, which they all have.â
Adam Henry, with Bills star cornerback TreâDavious White in 2023, has been a playersâ favorite across position groups.Adrian Kraus / Associated Press
Henry stayed in Buffalo for three seasons, until McDermott was fired in January. When McCarthy took the job in Pittsburgh, one of his first hires was Henry, who would work with DK Metcalf after the Steelers star was suspended two games and forfeited more than a half-million dollars last season.

Ready for Paris
After missing out on a Dublin towel because they were all gone by the time I got to Dublin Iâve taken no chances this year. Shipped from the Pro Store to a friend in the US and then brought back to the UK for me by another friend!

Where are we meeting in Paris?
Went to the game in Dublin and it was easy to find lots of Steelers fans, as the Temple Bar area is relatively small. Do we have a đ€đđ€đSteelers Arrondissement? We aren't going with a tour so let us know where you'll be.
