Got a good deal to pre-order the new Cosmo JrTrack Pro watch and besides being thinner & larger screen, what sold me was the longer lasting battery.
If you already have a Cosmo watch and have pre-paid for year / whatever, skip the normal set up process. I emailed Cosmo (after getting a little frustrated) and got this info of what to do instead.
- Log into the Parent Portal at parent.cosmotogether.com.
- Locate your device and select Transfer Plan.
- Have your new watch’s IMEI number ready.
NOTE: From my experience, the old phone was disconnected (stopped working) fairly quickly, the new phone took about 10 hours before I got an e-mail saying the number / plan (aka "Cosmo Membership") had completed the transfer.
(The website had a banner notification saying transfers were taking up to 12 hours, which I appreciate the info.)
I had reset the new watch as well as download a new Cosmo ("Family Connection") app from the iTunes store. (The old app I have on my iPhone doesn't work w/ the new watch).
It also looks like the two apps can't talk to each other so I now have to manually enter every contact into the new app.

tl;dr: If you have a Cosmo watch and transferring to a new watch, skip the normal set up process, set up through a browser, plan for 12-24 hours for watch number to transfer and block out time to manually set up the new watch.
