I hate when fire types aren't weak to ice for some reason

South Park has referenced Mega Man often, especially in the first four seasons. I'm watching a documentary on Paramount+ about Matt and Trey buying Casa Bonita and snagged this photo.

Gang, I bought this just to place in my little Rockman shrine, and never thought it would actually be A) fun, B) a functionally impressive watch, C) deep. It's all of it. And the sound quality is great with all the MM2 tracks you love. Fitness tracker, step counter, alarms, and 10 great levels with bosses and challenging play, plus an endless arcade mode. It's amazing. I love it. I'm gonna wear it. Probably out.

Skull barrier, star crash and plant barrier are ones of the most whatever weapons in classic series, they are just the same thing, just a generic shield weapon that is weak and can't even take a single bullet, those 3 weapons are somehow interior from leaf shield which was a good shield weapon, Plus they are really samey, there is nothing unique about them other than the effect, But that's probably more of a problem due to limitations, But i wonder how would you make them better and less samey ?

What do you guys think?

in the anniversary collection i get megaman 1-8 all on one disc while for the legacy collection i only get 1-6 and have to buy whole other game to get megaman 7 and 8 and i don't really care about megaman 9 and 10

Weapon Function:

Spirit Storm: Creates a flurry of ghosts that track enemies and latch onto them, draining their health bit by bit. Pressing the shoot button sends one ghost, pressing twice sends three, that is the maximum. Never will more than one ghost target a single enemy. 

Charged: This will shoot a huge ghost formed by 10 smaller ghosts that will damage nearly every enemy on screen, leaving the enemies with the same health-draining effect when the ghost passes by them.

Mine is definitely Gyro Attack, i like that you can control it in the air, and it has many ammo, it's satisfying to use and really fun, what's yours?

A couple of years ago during a long hiatus of not purchasing new merch/games for my Megaman collection, I had decided to peruse the world of Ebay to find some cheap games, at least building it up with a reasonably limited budget.

That was when I came across these, I know some people like to collect goofy knock offs for fun and I thought I would do the same once in a while, if they are made really well it is fine to add since it is for my personal collection and not to sell in the future.

They 'were' infact sealed and mint condition 'The disc and jewel cause of course, the cardboard slip cause a little worn on the top and bottom where it was resting on a shelf', so it was something I did not want to open myself just incase they 'could' be real.

Well, after doing some research, these are infact 'real' Megaman games from Korea which are incredibly scarce alone, but finding them so insanely 'cheap' on Ebay from a seller who was just getting rid of stuff quickly because they were cleaning out a room and neither of us knew there worth, then again the value of 'worth' is only really to the Megaman fans, a casual player who doesn't really play Megaman or isn't a large fan might not think twice of this listing.

Apparently not many people played alot of PC games in home in South Korea so they would go to PC gaming cafes to play games, this of course meant the shops would buy and rip open to let the customers play them, so gaming 'collecting' at the time was not that big of a thing during the time these titles were out over there, so having sealed copies is apparently a rarity in itself. They are worth hundreds as of today so I definitely got lucky finding these on Ebay at the time 2 years ago.

X4 on the other hand is a UK version, used and played a few times on my computer, not a rarity but love the MM series so was a game i played often on my older Windows XP computer.

Introducing the obscure Silver Mega Man where they changed the cyan color of his body including his buster into silver metallic .
which you can see with how he was portrayed in Europe back in the day along in the DVD boxarts of the Ruby Spears cartoon show. I always find it fascinating with the changes they made in these localization. Was this a misinterpreted action or did they just wanted to make him look more cool and appealing?
Well,for me personally I really like the look. I think it really contrasts with the Darker blue color really well!
Also they give him abs.

I mean I have played every game in the series now Classic, X, Zero and it's been like 2 years since played X1 but I am almost done with the 8 bosses in less than 2 hours with all the lives, it's not a complaint by the way I think the hardest part of the game is the climb to fight Vile in Sigma stage 1

Well, I wanted to talk about this because it's been really bothering me lately. The thing is, I started playing Mega Man a few months ago (around the end of summer), and man, this game is literally fire! I loved it and became one of the biggest fans of the series, even obsessed. But I feel like I'm a larber, probably because I only recently discovered the series, and suddenly this year everyone started talking About The new game (will be released in 2027)

The fact that I only recently discovered the series and didn't know about it much earlier makes me question whether I'm a Mega Man fan or just following gaming trends like the Larpers. I also feel it's a mistake to know about Mega Man at my age (I'm practically a teenager), as if I should have known about it earlier like most fans of the series.

I just need someone to tell me if I'm a Larber and what I should do? Because this feeling bothers me every time I play games in the series (Oh right, I finished the OG series, I'm now almost in the X series)
