I had an idea for a sequel game following ray. The game would start after the helicopter crash, ray scrambling through a city to feed and find somewhere to hide. Ray would eventually find an old Sanda technology location and set up camp there. Im not sure how the story would go, but the gameplay and how the game is traversed would be similar to the mega man Z games. Ray would have 3 different hunting styles, brute, rush, and stalk. Brute would have high armor at the cost of low speed, allowing ray to tank attacks and keep going. Rush would have high speed but low damage, overwhelming pray with flurries of attacks and an unrelenting chaser. Stalk would have high attack but low armor, focusing more on a quick clean kill rather than an actual encounter. Each hunting style would have a melee move as well as a ranged one. Rays base move set would be her basic swipes and her ranged attack would be throwing her arm blades like boomerangs. Brute would be slow but steady slashes, and the ranged would be the claw projectile that ray does at the end of her combos in mighty no 9. Rush would be quick but weak slashes, and the range would have her kick and fly forward. Stalks melee would be a slow but powerful stab with the buster arm, and the range would be a blast from the buster arm thats strong but weaker than the stab. Each style would also have a passive effect, brute would stagger less often, rush would be a movement boost, and stalk would turn ray invisible after a period of not taking damage. I added on art to show what each form looks like, and if anyone as ideas on what the story could be feel free to share.

Ive seen so many people complain saying that avi is the hardest without the weakness, and it confuses the hell out of me
Like, the platforms are just wide enough for you to stand at the end and spam fire to both bit avi and stun the drone
Why do people find him so hard?

I don't know how many of you remember, but Concept, the company that developed Mighty No. 9, had plans for another project: Red Ash. This game was supposed to be a spiritual successor to Mega Man Legends. Back then, they released a sort of playable "demo" that was really just a small 3D area to explore. The game featured models of Dr. White, Gregory Graham, Dr. Sanda (although it's not him, it's a humanoid balloon that resembles him), Call, and, of course, Beck. Beck and Call are playable; they can move, jump, grab onto ledges, and kick (you can also play as the protagonist of Red Ash, who shares a name with Beck, but that's irrelevant). One strange detail is that Beck doesn't have his usual appearance; instead, he has the look he gets after defeating Pyrogen.
Now I'll explain my headcanon: After the events of Mighty No. 9, Beck and his siblings were applauded and cheered... but a few months later, something happened. People started getting angry. They insulted Beck and his family, denigrating and humiliating them. Dr. Sanda closed his labs because no one wanted to do business with him anymore. He returned to Japan with his brother, leaving Call behind. Broke, Dr. White, Beck, and Call had to move to a run-down neighborhood. William found a job selling pastries, which at least provided him with enough to live on, and Beck helps him by working as a walking incinerator (hence why he always uses Pyrogen's ability). Call, abandoned by Dr. Sanda, lost her mind a bit; now she acts as if the Sanda-shaped balloon is the doctor himself. I know it's sad, but that's the sequel to Mighty No. 9. Just so you know, I'm a huge fan of the game; I'm just letting my imagination run wild for fun. I wish this game all the best; I hope it eventually climbs out of the hole it's in.

It's not even bad. Sure, I get why people don't like it, it's def rough around the edges, but I honestly had a good time! the later levels though are stupidly difficult... It's honestly ironic how people make fun of this game by saying "Better Than Nothing" when the truth is... it really IS Better than nothing.
07.50/10.

I've never played the game but I played MM before I don't think 6/10 is really bad i think what doomed the game is the hype and the promises given

The studio which was founded in December 2010 officially dissolved by a shareholders’ resolution vote on January 13, 2026. This follows a prior partnership with Level 5 studios who had taken over after Inafune left in 2024.

Been "joking" for years that I've been wanting to buy the IP off of Inafune, but I'm actually serious. Doubly so considering I was developing a Ray mod for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 at some point in the past.
Do y'all think Inafune would ever sell it? Not like he's ever gonna do anything with it ever again.

I tried Maniac for the first time, and I noticed that Countershade's weapon ONLY works well in this mode. In normal and hyper, it can't one tap most enemies, but they go down in one hit in maniac. What's up with that?
Edit: it seems Beck just deals more damage in this mode. I went back to the lower difficulties and my flow was totally off. Well that's just great. Now I'm conditioned for maniac. Well hey, at least I'm halfway through the Mighty Numbers.

I got the S-Rank medal on my save file. I guess my next goal is to S-Rank the Vermillion Destroyer stage and get S-Ranks for all of Ray's stages.
It's all DLC, so it's completely optional. That's why I got the S-Rank medal.
