Discussion What's your honest opinion on purchaseable DLC as a Mario fan?
Yeah I know it's somehow a controversial topic for videogame community. But I'd like to know if Mario fans are open about it.
Let's say, for Super Mario sport series, a typical purchaseable DLC would be expanding more brand new courses and characters. However, by narrow sense it feels like Mario series hasn't really pulled it out in given cases:
*Tennis, Golf and Soccer so far all have playable characters and courses in DLCs, but they're free updates that are considered paid within the original buy. Their base games are also mostly considered inenough without the DLCs to make up.
*Mario Kart 8 is best known for purchaseable DLCs from WiiU era and NS1 era. But still, WiiU era's feature was guest contents, while NS1 era's Booster Course Pack is mostly consisted with throwback contents and returning drivers with few brand new courses. It's hard to tell, if we use higher bar they're both not quite the definite "all brand new contents" standard.
*Party Jamboree expanded TV mode on NS2, but still no confirm it is able to add new characters and boards.
Personally, I want to say if the base game is properly priced + already had sufficient contents, adding more contents with a reasonable price should be an okay thing. I don't think Nintendo really devote to expansion on WiiU and NS1 era, so I wish NS2 era to go further.
What about you? Would you open to the ideas of purchaseable expansion in more games? Or you think all Mario titles should try to conclude contents within base game and don't ask you to pay again?

Question Is this fake or real?
I played Mario galaxy and never saw such statement, I heard this sub is good for finding where real and fake images lie for Mario and I used gemini and it said it was fake, but I want a real human opinion to be sure. So, is this true?

Discussion Super Mario Sunshine is Worse Than You Remember
As a young kid, I remember Super Mario Sunshine being looked quite fondly upon. Between its unique art style and gameplay, as well as new character additions that were acclaimed, it seemed to be a pretty lucrative and fun experience. Back then, I vaguely remember a lot of praise coming its way from fans and critics alike. I didn't get to experience Sunshine at release, unfortunately, and didn't really care to play it post-release. As a result, I quickly enjoyed Mario 64 and Galaxy tremendously more throughout my life.
However, as the game has aged, I've noticed that its reception has gone from "decent" to "middling at best" for most. I found this odd, so I took it upon myself to jump into the world of Sunshine for the first time, and... wow. I see EXACTLY why this game is so divisive between all of you now.
I found myself so greatly appalled at the way that the game is organized, as well as how fluctuating the difficulty can be in Sunshine. I also found that though the game is centralized around F.L.U.D.D., I didn't find him to control as smoothly with Mario, especially when comparing to 64 or Galaxy. I also had a few more nitpicks regarding some aspects of the game (i.e. the vague Shine titles, the rushed story, etc.) that I found to be really strange for a Mario game of this caliber.
Now of course, the game isn't *all* bad, there are a LOT of things that I did enjoy throughout my play through, such as the incredible art style and soundtrack, and I can't really consider ANY Mario game to be a horrendous experience (okay... maybe some of them, let's be real). But, I will say, I was definitely much more surprised coming out of this one compared to any other Mario game I've played before.
With this information, I made a pretty high-quality video with all of my thoughts from my first time running through Sunshine. I'd highly recommend you give this one a watch! Additionally, I'd also like to hear some of your thoughts in case I revisit Sunshine at a later time. I know some people feel VERY strongly about Sunshine, so I'm curious about some reasons you may disagree with my thoughts or some reasons I didn't mention in the video. Hopefully you enjoy watching the video as much as I did making it.

Discussion In the future, could the animal suit power ups like the Frog and Tanuki Suits be upgraded to anthropomorphic animal forms just like the Elephant forms?
Could that also be a trend started by Mario Bros. Wonder?

Question Which non-Mario games gave you that Mario feeling?
Hi there! I love Mario so much and we all know that nothing will ever replace those games!
I was just wondering if there were games that definitely have a nod to Mario that gave you a similar feeling.
I don’t know too much about games beyond Mario and I’m just looking for some recommendations for similar stuff.
Thanks a ton! Appreciate it.

Art Randomly remembered my old mario OC from when I was like 6 and felt like remaking them
The first one's named Arrow, she died when she was exploring a forest and a part of her head got chomped off by a creature with sharp teeth. She now just haunts manors, looking for "home"
The second one is Draccy, she's an entity possessing the body of Emerald, a performer at a circus. This is only her weak form, she becomes stronger by eating. She eats about anything, as long as her vessel's digestive system can take it.
Boy I was into smth back then
