New to M43!
Im the guy who asked some weeks ago if changing from an a6000 to a gx85 was worth it, and I finally did it!! So happy so far, these are some of my first shots (pretty basic, just trying around).

Please use this thread to ask your burning questions about anything micro four-thirds related.
These are all great questions, but you probably have better ones. Post 'em and we'll do our best to answer them.

You've spent an entire week with your Micro Four-Thirds camera, documenting the world as it is, how it was, or how you think it should be. It's time to show us those photos and bask in the glory that only a weekly photo thread can bring!

Hello,
I had another opportunity to take the OM-5 out for another photo therapy session...
Along with it, I took the Laowa 17mm f/1.8 again, this time to a coast nearby.
A crowded place, good for street shots, but I'm not used to taking chaotic street shots, so I went for a more comfortable approach—capturing a few human elements surrounded by the environment. A feeling of feeling small, contemplative, and quiet in a wide space.

All shot on OM1 with 12-40 2.8 ii
TECHNICALLY 2 of these shots are from late summer (like early September) but you get the point. New England is underrated.

I’ve really liked the quality this combination provides, which is included in the Dehancer Photo edition.

All images taken with the PEN and my trusty 45mm f1.8, SOOC jpegs.
I think I'm in love with this camera.

It wasn't pouring anymore, but whenever the wind blew through the trees, things got wet. I think I was in worse shape than the camera when I got back to the car.

I recently got the OM-3 after selling off some Canon full frame gear. Love the looks of the camera and wanted a smaller overall kit. It’s definitely a great EDC system. And although the 40-150mm f2.8 is chonky relative to most m43 lenses, it’s not too big and the results out of it are stunning. I took that and the 60mm macro to a local botanic garden for some fall weather shooting and am really pleased with the results. Enjoyed it immensely. Also love that I don't have to worry about inclement weather!
All images were shot with a custom recipe that slightly upped the saturation for some colors. Photos 1-6 were shot with the 40-150mm f2.8, and photos 7-10 were with the 60mm macro.

I sold the GX-85, trying to cut heart strings to my GM1+PL15F1.7. What a joy it is to use the OM-3. The 40-150 arrived yesterday, I’ve never taken pictures at longer focal lengths. I also want to try astral photos. This camera rulez!!!!

Hello, this is my first time doing photography with an actual camera, and I just got back from a trip to Washington state. Looking to improve my compositions, so any critiques are appreciated!

My favorite m4/3 lens is the Oly 17mm f1.8, but I've had the 40-150 plastic baby on my OM-3 the last few days and just going for detail shots. It's been fun. (Editing in DxO photo lab but mostly just pulling blacks and shadows down and pushing contrast a bit harder.)

I’m not a pro photographer, just someone who comes back from a city weekend with 1–2k photos and hates going through them. I write software for a living, so I built a tool to do the boring part. With Pro Capture and high-fps bursts, MFT is probably where this matters most.
What it does:
It’s free and GPL open source, and it runs entirely on your computer: no account, no subscription, no uploads. It works on Linux, macOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows; HEIC on Windows is still in progress.
Next I’d like to make scoring genre-aware with modules for birds, landscapes and so on. I don’t shoot birds myself, so I’m curious what people here would want it to judge.
It’s a 0.1, so feedback and bug reports are very welcome.

First steps with the OM3, 20 1.4 pro prime. Had the Pen in mind originally, might still get it as EDC

Is there any recipe to get Kodachrome on om1-ii? I know the OM1-ii isn't has good with recipes as the OM3 and Pen but if anyone had one they'd like to share i'd love to try it out. If you have pic examples I'd love to see them too. I'm trying to go for the Saul Leiter look and I believe he shot a lot of Kodachrome. Thanks!
