I haven't even closed up the pond for the year yet, but with the cold weather hitting, I know it'll be coming soon and I'm already missing the summer and getting to swim with the Koi. Here's a quick look at the koi pond, that is swimmable, and the koi that have been busy breeding over the years. There was originally 12... there's a lot more than that now.

The water looks green in the video, but in reality, you can see down to the bottom without a problem, it's 5ft deep at the lowest point. The biggest problem is finding the time to keep it perfect, maybe next year 😄

wondering if i need to feed my koi more. they seem a bit skinny to me.

My mom had 2 koi fish they are about 3 inch’s long, she keeps them in a small pond and we are unsure what to do with them for the winter, this is where they currently are( not my doing) but I’m try to help find the best option. It gets cold here ( Washington state )

Reducing my koi numbers significantly due to an upcoming move I have 25ish butterfly koi ranging from 3 inches to 12+ inches (reproducing), plus a few standard fin. Most are metallic and all are mutts. Hand-fed so most are friendly. Located in Indianapolis. Message me with questions. Thx

Our babies look like Koi but have no barbells. Really not sure if they are koi or goldfish. Need some help, please.

I recently bought a home and we found out the old owners left their koi fish, we have been working hard to keep them alive but really our lifestyle doesn’t mesh with caring for these fish (a lot of traveling).

Is there anyways to put the fish up for adoption, not even sure what that process would look like, I want them to have a great life but not sure that I’m the best suited for that.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Does the bolt to the power cable not come off the new head unit?

Hi everyone! My grandpa recently passed away, and my grandma is now taking care of their home and ponds on her own. They’ve always loved their koi, but unfortunately several of their larger fish passed away around the same time. I’m hoping to help her get the ponds filled back up with some larger koi.

If anyone has koi they need to rehome, we have large, established ponds near Fremont, NE and would be happy to come pick them up. Please message me if you know of any. Thank you!

Context: Tsunami, my butterfly koi was kind of ugly, I know it’s mean but it’s true, their face was deformed. Their eye was off putting and face, quite straight, and for all of this time I have been questioning what this guy had. When I first got them, at about 3 months old, they were already like that and it wasn’t contagious or anything because none of my other koi’s experienced that.
