Audio Needed [RevShare] Looking for a MUSICIAN. 7.5% cut for a full soundtrack

COMPOSER ALREADY FOUND. THIS POST IS JUST BEING KEPT AS AN ARCHIVE

Hello. This is IGE. I have 9+ years experience in Unity Game Development, and i'm looking for a musician to compose a full OST for this small game.

GAME IDEA:

Press a big red button on time with a timer. Random cards can appear which change when or how your meant to press it.

MUSIC DIRECTION:

Fast, energetic, slightly tense. I'm open to the musician having creative freedom with the exact style.

Originally a submission to GMTK Game Jam 2026, ranking within the top 7%.

I'm planning for development time to take (more or less) 3 months. Music in my project isn't very vast. There might be about 11 tracks?

The cut I'm offering is 7.5%, but that can be subject to increase depending on works.

Previous works:

I work in British Summer Time (BST), but it's not a concern if your elsewhere.

Looking forward to work with you ;)

Artist Needed [PAID] 2D Artist for stylized characters on live project

My game is in demo but slated to be released very soon. The characters are currently a flat style but I'm trying to move them all to a more stylized format, see below. I can handle the human figures ( or I may need help there too), but I need help with the animals, they need a more skilled person.

  • 36 in total, hoping to get a jump on this.
  • I prefer vector, like illustrator, deliverables, but can be flexible.
  • Post your portfolio, I'll reach out if you are a good fit to discuss rates.

This post shows the old style and what style I want to match:

Thank you

Programming Offer [RevShare] Unity/Unreal Programmer, looking to join YOUR project

Hey, I'm Alex. Here's a conveniently bulleted list about me:

  • 6+ years of developing Unity games in my free time
  • 1 year of professional experience working on simulation in Unreal Engine
  • 1 released game: Wordwalker, a word/puzzle game made for Windows and iOS
  • A whole bunch of tech demos and half-finished projects. My portfolio: https://github.com/alexman37
  • 2 years as a full stack software engineer / web developer (JavaScript, Java)
  • I love designing complex systems and intricate puzzles
  • I'm 25 years old
  • Based in Mid-Atlantic US

I'm looking for creatives to team up with: Artists, Graphic designers, modelers, sound designers, music composers and writers. I'm a skilled programmer, but solo dev requires you to be good at everything else too, and I'm honestly not there yet.

If you're one of the above types, and need a good coder to help bring your artistic vision to life, I'm happy to help. Although I've tagged this as RevShare (I'd love to go full indie some day), I do not mind working on a project for free. All I want to make something special and memorable.

I have ideas of my own, but am particularly interested in joining an existing project or helping an interesting artistic vision get onto the screen.

My ideal teammate is someone with a moderate level of experience, and a portfolio of their own, but not necessarily an expert yet. Someone with talent, but still up-and-coming, looking to make a name for themselves.

Other random things:

  • I'm most comfortable in Unity, but I can work in other engines too.
  • I want to start with a small game we have a high chance of shipping.
  • Favorite genres: Puzzle, Mystery, RPG, Strategy, Horror
  • Favorite recent indie games: Blue Prince, Endacopia, Kenshi, OMORI, House, The Roottrees are Dead

Art Offer [Hobby] Experienced Dev Looking for a Co-Dev to share projects with!

Looking for a co-dev for RPGMaker or Godot projects. Someone who matches my freak in terms of interests and designs and who's looking for a bit of 'scratch my back, I'll scratch yours'. Or to put it bluntly, you help me with my projects and I'll help with yours, in addition to anything we might want to start together.

I’m an artist/game designer with experience in 2D/3D art, worldbuilding, writing, systems, UI, and general all-rounding. I've done most everything in the game development pipeline at least a few times, though my specialties/favourites are weird interfaces and environmental assets.

I’m into strange/quirky, atmospheric, complex systems style games: survival RPGs, horror, biopunk, dark fantasy, etc. Some of my favourte games are Rimworld, Kenshi, Project Zomboid, for their mechanics and Oddworld, Tyranny, Baldur's gate 1/2 for stylistic directions.

I’m looking for someone with complementary skills to my own, particularly programming, audio and writing, or similar all-rounders who have tried/ are willing to try out most things. Experimenting, playing around, having fun doing things in different ways.

I'm not looking for big group projects or a sales pitch on your game, and I likely wont be interested in mundane development, just to be transparent. I want to make things that are quirky, ugly-pretty, out of the box, weird and or strange. More importantly though is finding the right person.

I'm looking for someone who's not just passionate about what they're making, but passionate about making in general. An accountabillabuddy. Someone to learn and grow with, and just have fun making interesting things.

When I say I'm not interested in a sales pitch its because from experience the right person is going to inspire me regardless, and I am willing to put in substantial effort for that right person. I'm also open to very small groups, but on the basis that we aren't all initially strangers coming together. New groups fall apart so quickly 99% of the time. I don't want to be establishing myself in an uncertain environment.

Lastly, I do not particularly care for AI. AI art and writing are both a massive no for me. I may be amicable to assisted coding, but it is not my preference and I will not use it myself/refine anything that comes from it. I may be willing to replace anything AI entirely, if it is present in your project due to a skill gap.

If you've read this far, thank you! Feel welcome to reach out via comment or dm. I hope my assertiveness isn't off putting, because above all, I really just want to have fun and make cool things!

Programmers Needed [Hobby] Puzzle Horror Game

• Upvotes

I have a semi solid idea on what I want to do. I’m trying to learn game design again but solo developing is hell and not something I have the time for 😭. Trying to avoid using any AI whatsoever. Anyway, i want to work on a horror game that is a mix of Resident Evil, Observation Duty, and Welcome to the game. Would love to discuss the idea with others and see if you are interested. Of course if it is ever published would be open to RevShare.

Note: I am a super beginner 😭 my most experience is in blender and even then it’s not that good. Slowly improving

Team Needed [Hobby] Seeking Composers, Animators & Voice Actors for a Spooky Month Fan VN

• Upvotes

Looking for collaborators for VN game Infestation Infatuation! 🐀💛

I’m currently developing Infestation Infatuation, an unofficial Spooky Month fan-made visual novel centred around Sr Pelo’s character Dexter Erotoph! I saw there were quite a few Bob Velseb dating sims floating around, and wanted to try my hand at making a game of my own.

This is my first game project, so I do not have a traditional master portfolio site. However, you can see my active development progress and sneak peeks directly on my socials!
For example: https://x.com/hueberryjam/status/2050682843043668030?s=61 or https://www.tumblr.com/hueberryjam/826957282647687168/hows-infestation-infatuation-project-going

I’m still in the early stages of development, but I’ve already started working on the script, backgrounds, character sprites, and general direction and themes of the story. I’d love to find a few more people interested in helping out with this passion project of mine and really push development, particularly:

🩵 Music composers: Background music, eerie ambient tracks, more intimate scene themes, and potentially a character theme for Dexter.

🎤 Voice actors (potentially): This game focuses primarily on a very isolated dynamic between two lonely individuals, meaning that if I were to have a voice actor for Dexter they would need to record a LOT of lines, so I am still undecided on this. Still, if someone is interested in voicing Dexter and believes they could do a good enough voice inspired by Sr Pelo’s original character, do get in contact!

🎨 2D animators (potentially): Considering including animated cutscenes or short sequences to add emotional weight to pivotal story moments. I imagine something simple inspired by the source material’s style.

I’m currently looking for people who would enjoy collaborating on this small fan project on a voluntary basis. The scope is still developing, so I’m not expecting anyone to commit to a massive workload. Even if you believe you could only contribute a single track or a short animation, I’d love to hear from you!

If you’re interested in contributing, feel free to message me with a little information about yourself and examples of your work. Let me know which role you’re interested in, too!

Thanks for reading! 🩵

Team Needed [Hobby] looking for a team to start soemthing groundbreaking

• Upvotes

I'm putting together a team for Singularity Labs, an independent R&D project focused on developing new technology and exploring ideas that could lead to something groundbreaking.

I'm looking for people interested in things like AI, robotics, engineering, electronics, computer science, and other areas of STEM. You don't have to be an expert. I want people who are curious, enjoy figuring things out, and want to work on projects that go beyond just talking about ideas.

I'm starting from the ground up and looking for people who want to be part of building something from the beginning. The goal is to bring together people with different skills and interests and see what we can accomplish together.

If this sounds interesting to you, send me a message and tell me a little about yourself and what you're interested in.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a paid position. I don’t have the funds for that, but that also means I’m not getting paid either, although when and if we get to a point where we can start selling products Pay would be included. I don’t know how much, but given the ideas that I have for the company, you can expect close or even over to 100,000 a year.

For the simplicity of meeting in person, I'm looking for people only in the the US.

Team Needed [RevShare] Recruiting for Cozy Game Collective!

• Upvotes

Hi all! I posted a while back when I first started the collective with the goal of making a sokpop like collaboration where we stagger releases to create a community and along with it, support. We had some ups and downs, but we've finally finished our first jam release! https://cozygamecollective.itch.io/go-for-ghoul

It feels great but unfortunately a few members had to step down due to different circumstances so I'm now looking for more members!

We're looking for 2-3 ARTISTS and possibly 1-2 PROGRAMMERS! But feel free to apply as well if you have other skillsets you want to use to create something cozy!

Indie dev TEAMS that would love to join up under this model, do apply as well! I believe you can still benefit a lot from shared overhead like marketing, etc.

it's still in the works but to understand more about our approach, read this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/14yap9KGRJE4dFWOavTxLhN5gEhP5z7EHCoFhzET4t50/edit?usp=sharing

If you're interested do fill up this form! Applicants should ideally have published a game before, no matter the scale of it!

Team Needed [RevShare] [LFS] Looking for a Team for a 2D Extraction Shooter (Godot 4)

I'm looking for people who want to work together on a 2D top-down extraction shooter I'm developing in Godot 4.

The game is inspired by ARC Raiders, Escape from Tarkov, and Horizon Zero Dawn. It will have a pixelated art style with a realistic look, featuring nature taking over abandoned buildings, old technology, and machines in a futuristic world.

The main gameplay will focus on exploring maps, collecting loot, finding useful parts and equipment, fighting enemies, and extracting safely. I want to make a tactical game where exploration, combat, and finding better gear all matter.

Who I'm looking for:

  • 2D artist: Someone who can help with character sprites, environments, props, tilesets, or animations.
  • Beginner Godot developer: Someone who's also learning Godot and wants to improve while helping develop the game.
  • Other contributors: Anyone with useful skills or ideas who wants to be involved.

I'm still early in development, so there's plenty of room to contribute ideas and help shape the game. I'm learning Godot myself, and I want to build a team where we can work together, learn, and gradually turn the idea into a playable game.

I'm still deciding whether the finished game will be single-player or multiplayer.

This is currently a hobby project, not a paid position.

If you're interested, comment below or send me a DM with a little information about yourself, your skills, and what you'd like to work on.

Artist Needed [Hobby] Seeking Colorist for Indie Dream-Pop Music Video

Hi everyone!

I'm an independent filmmaker looking for a colorist interested in collaborating on a short music video for a Latin dream-pop song.

This was a no-budget passion project made by a small group of friends, and we're now looking for someone who'd be excited to help bring the final visual direction to life!

The video is under four minutes long, and the edit is largely complete. We'd love to connect with someone who enjoys dreamy, atmospheric, cinematic color grading and is interested in contributing their own creative perspective.

This would be an unpaid, voluntary collaboration, with credit and portfolio-use permissions agreed upon in advance. Students and emerging colorists are absolutely welcome!

If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, feel free to DM me with examples of your work. Happy to share more details privately!

Thanks so much! 💜

Team Needed [Hobby] Beginner Game designer looking for team to join or create

Hello, so I’ve been taking some time to figure out where I fit into the game making process and have decided I am going to begin studying Game design (months of thought and experimenting went into this). The thing with that is I learn better by doing so I’m looking for an already established team or a group of people to make a team that I can work with to build our skills and portfolios. I am hoping to make small games in the beginning and grow to maybe one day make something big. I have a lot of ideas that may or may not be good but I want to at least put them out into the universe. I have tried to learn coding as well as even trying to use ai to make something but ultimately I hated that I used AI because it wasn’t mine and it lacked real creativity. (Any game designers that see this any advice would also be nice). I also understand I can’t offer much so I don’t expect compensation for anything I work on.

We have an idea we'd love to bring to life, and maybe some of you would be interested in being part of it!

Just to be clear, this is currently an unfunded passion project, so there's no salary at the moment. We're doing this because we enjoy game development and want to create something together. If you're interested, feel free to DM me! I'll gladly tell you more about the game and our team.

Writer Needed [RevShare] Looking for a writer 10-20%

Do you like dogs? Or researching Edo Japan?

I'm looking for a writer for my Oregon Trail-like game Okage Inu, where you're a little dog in Edo Japan traveling to Ise Shrine to deliver your masters last wishes. There are some light roguelike dice worker placement mechanics but I'm quickly learning that the main appeal and engagement in the game is simply in getting to do cute dog things in Edo Japan.

The work you would do for this game is write event and NPC cards. For example, there is a "Bandits" card in this game where you can take various actions: "Bark for help", "Surrender", "Run away", "Attack" with both failure and success outcomes for all actions. I would also be interested in multi-card event "questlines", for example maybe receiving a love letter in one village and delivering it to someone else in the next. I also love humorous dog things, I already have an event where your dog eats an unattended feast and becomes a fat slow blob for 5 steps.

Revenue share is flexible and would obviously increase with more output. At the moment, I have written about 35 event and NPC cards, and I'd like to hit 100 so that players don't see repeats on a few runs. I've been aiming for roughly 150 words each card including outcomes, with more elaborate ones hitting 250-300 words.

Looking forward to working with someone who loves dogs and/or Japan

Team Needed [Hobby] Looking for some aspiring game developers to help me create a game

Hey all, I’m setting out to make a Tekken-Adjacent fighting game that involves a lot of concepts from real martial arts and mma fighting. It will have in-depth gameplay including standing striking, grounded striking, and grappling throws/submissions/etc.

The gameplay will be side to side with the option to move towards the foreground/background similar to tekken. The character roster will be divided by which martial art the character specializes in.
(i.e. MMA, Boxer, Kickboxer, Karateka, Jiujiteiro, Judoka, etc.)

The characters will be fully drawn/animated in 2D from a few different perspectives to give the illusion of perspective (think of the way the doom enemies are rendered).

A lot of the menus and music will be extremely stylized. The music will be very different depending on the stages you pick, and will range from classic dnb, to hardcore punk, to panic jazz, to hip-hop, and anything in between.

If you meet the criteria of any of the things listed below, and are interested in working on a game, please send comment or send a message to me. You don’t necessarily need to be an expert, as I myself am probably gonna learn a lot along the way as this is my first ever real game from scratch I’m making.

I’m looking for any of these:

- 2D Artist
- 2D Character Designer
- 2D Animator

- 3D Level Modeler
- 3D Texture Artist
- 3D Stage/Level Designer

- Musician
- Programmer
- UI Designer
- Sound Effect Designer
