Audio Needed [RevShare] Looking for a MUSICIAN. 7.5% cut for a full soundtrack

COMPOSER ALREADY FOUND. THIS POST IS JUST BEING KEPT AS AN ARCHIVE

Hello. This is IGE. I have 9+ years experience in Unity Game Development, and i'm looking for a musician to compose a full OST for this small game.

GAME IDEA:

Press a big red button on time with a timer. Random cards can appear which change when or how your meant to press it.

MUSIC DIRECTION:

Fast, energetic, slightly tense. I'm open to the musician having creative freedom with the exact style.

Originally a submission to GMTK Game Jam 2026, ranking within the top 7%.

I'm planning for development time to take (more or less) 3 months. Music in my project isn't very vast. There might be about 11 tracks?

The cut I'm offering is 7.5%, but that can be subject to increase depending on works.

Previous works:

I work in British Summer Time (BST), but it's not a concern if your elsewhere.

Looking forward to work with you ;)

"i hate ai"

Team Needed [Hobby] Beginner 3D Artist Looking for a Team to Learn & Make a Game Together

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I'm a beginner 3D artist who's interested in getting into game development, and I'm looking for a few people who might want to join me in making a game together.

I'm still learning, so this isn't going to be a professional or super-serious project. It's completely unpaid and just for fun. My main goal is to find some people who are interested in learning, experimenting, and improving together while hopefully making something we're proud of.

You don't need to be experienced to join. Whether you're an experienced developer/artist or you've never made a game before, you're welcome! I'd actually love to have other beginners involved so we can figure things out together and help each other learn.

What I'm looking for

  • Programmers / developers
  • 3D artists
  • 2D artists
  • Animators
  • Sound/music people
  • Writers
  • Anyone else interested in game development

You don't necessarily need to specialize in anything. If you're just interested in learning game development and want to contribute however you can, that's completely fine.

The Game

I don't have a set idea yet, and I'd prefer for us to come up with the idea together. We can throw around different ideas and decide on something that everyone is actually interested in making.

I'm open to pretty much anything, so we could potentially make a small 3D game, horror game, racing game, survival game, or whatever we collectively think would be fun.

Availability

I realistically only have about 3–4 days a week that I can work on the project, so I'm not expecting anyone to dedicate huge amounts of time to it either.

This is meant to be something we can work on when we have free time without it becoming a stressful obligation.

If you're interested, feel free to comment or DM me! Tell me a little about yourself, what you're interested in learning/doing, and your experience level (even if you're a complete beginner).

I'd love to find some people who are excited to learn together and see what we can create! :)

Closed [Paid] Solo Game Developer Looking for Sound Designers, Writers, 2D Artists and Voice Actors for Indie Steam Game (Potential Long-Term Collaboration)

Hey everyone!

I'm currently developing a game called Unemployed, a dark comedy unemployment simulator built in Unreal Engine 5, with a PS1-inspired art style. I'm the sole developer, and I'm planning to release the game on Steam.

A little about myself: I'm a professional gameplay programmer, primarily working with Unreal Engine and C++. I've been developing games for a number of years now, and Unemployed is my first solo commercial project.

The game itself takes place entirely inside a small apartment. You're unemployed, broke, and trying to survive while applying for jobs, managing your needs, and keeping up appearances with your parents, who have absolutely no idea what's going on. It's intended to be a fairly silly game with some darker humour mixed in.

Most of the core gameplay systems are already implemented, and I'm currently working towards polishing everything and putting together a playable demo.

I'm looking for people who might be interested in helping out with some of the creative aspects of the game, particularly:

  • Sound designers: General sound effects, UI sounds, ambience, and helping give the game a bit more personality through audio.
  • Writers: Helping with dialogue, comedic writing, character interactions and potentially some cutscenes. The game has quite a few dialogue-heavy interactions, particularly with the player's parents.
  • 2D artists/illustrators: Character portraits, expressions and potentially some UI-related illustrations. I'm particularly interested in styles reminiscent of older games, including Y2K aesthetics.
  • Voice actors: A handful of characters will have voiced dialogue. I'm currently looking for someone to voice a bubbly, slightly judgemental Y2K/Bratz-inspired wardrobe host, but there will likely be other opportunities.

I'm not necessarily looking to assemble a full development team. I'm quite happy handling the programming and technical side of things myself. I'm mainly looking for creative people who might enjoy collaborating on different aspects of the project.

More than anything, I'd like to meet people who are genuinely interested in making games. If we work well together, I'd love to continue collaborating on future projects too. I'm not just looking for someone to do one task and disappear, although that's perfectly fine if that's all you're interested in!

Of course, anyone who contributes will be properly credited in the game and can showcase their work in their portfolio.

I'm also happy to share screenshots and WIP gameplay footage of Unemployed so you can see what I've been working on and get an idea of the project before committing to anything.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a message or leave a comment with a little about yourself, what you'd like to contribute, and ideally some examples of your previous work.

I'd appreciate serious enquiries only, please. I'm pretty flexible with schedules and understand that people have their own commitments, but I'd like to work with people who are genuinely interested and can communicate reliably.

Thanks for reading!

EDIT (Regarding Payment): I've received quite a few messages about the budget, so I just wanted to clarify something. When I mentioned offering payment, I meant more of a small token of appreciation for people's time and contributions, rather than professional compensation. I'm funding this project entirely myself, and unfortunately don't have the budget to commission work at industry rates. I'm primarily looking for hobbyists, people building their portfolios, or anyone who might genuinely enjoy collaborating on a game. I completely understand if that's not for everyone, and I don't expect anyone to work for less than they feel their time is worth. I just wanted to clear that up to avoid wasting anyone's time! There will still be a payment, just very small!!

EDIT: I have found some people who would like to work with me, thanks everyone for your interest!

Artist Needed [Hobby] [RevShare] [UE5] Looking for partner - 3D Artist & Voice Actor Wanted - Narrative Horror RPG

I'm looking for creative partners for a narrative-driven horror RPG built in Unreal Engine 5. This is a passion project with no upfront payment, so I'm looking for people interested in building something together through a % based arrangement.

The Project

The game follows an investigator revisiting old case files, with each case experienced firsthand. What begins as grounded detective work gradually becomes something much harder to explain, exploring memory, reality, and the fragile reliability of the mind.

The setting has a dark, old-world atmosphere: remote settlements, weather-beaten buildings, unsettling forests, and places that feel lived-in but somehow wrong. The horror is built around exploration, environmental storytelling, sound, and the slow discovery that something isn't right.

Think atmospheric detective fiction with psychological horror and a strong emphasis on immersion.

Who I'm Looking For

🎨 3D Artist / Environment Artist

  • Creatures
  • NPC refinement (MetaHuman)
  • Animations
  • Environment art, architecture, props, and level dressing
  • Creating believable, atmospheric locations
  • Concept art or visual development to help establish the game's visual identity

🎙️ Voice Actors

  • Character dialogue for a narrative-heavy game
  • Natural, grounded performances that suit a dark, period-inspired setting
  • Ability to convey subtle emotion, uncertainty, and unease without leaning too heavily into theatrical horror
  • Experience with character work, dialogue recording, or voice acting for games is welcome

I'm especially interested in performances that make characters feel like real people. The world should feel believable, even when things begin to go wrong.

What I Bring

The project is already in development, with many of gameplay systems in place. Most of the key systems are ready, and it's mostly polish and design work remaining. I'm currently focused on finalizing system implementation, worldbuilding, narrative design, and creative direction.

I'm looking for collaborators who want to contribute creatively, share ideas, and help shape the experience rather than simply receive a list of tasks. I'm aiming for a Q2 2027 demo release, with the current focus on developing the world, atmosphere, presentation, and overall experience.

Compensation & Collaboration

This is a hobby project with no upfront payment. I'm looking to establish a fair revenue-share arrangement, with the split and expectations discussed and agreed upon before anyone commits.

I want to be upfront about the risks: revenue is not guaranteed but I am confident in what's built so far to get this project to market. I'd rather find a few people who genuinely connect with the project than promise something I can't guarantee.

Interested?

Send me a DM with a little about yourself, what you do, and what you'd be interested in contributing. Portfolios, demo reels, and audio samples are welcome.

If the concept sounds interesting and you'd like to help build something atmospheric, unsettling, and story-driven, I'd love to hear from you.

Artist Needed [Paid] 3D Character Artist (Character Creator 5 / Blender)

We need an artist to improve two stylized human characters with intentionally large eyes.

  1. Current issues: the models lack detail, and the eyes/lips don't move properly during speech. They look detached from the face.

  2. Rebuild or improve: we're not sure if the existing models are worth keeping or if it's better to start from scratch. Tell us which you recommend.

  3. Close-up quality: when we zoom in on the face, fine details must be visible (skin, eyes, eyelids, lips, etc.).

  4. Eye rig: the oversized eyes must integrate with the face and move naturally (blinking, eyelids, eye tracking, lip sync).

  5. Accessories: reuse the existing accessories from Blender where possible.

  6. Clothing: set up the characters so outfits can be swapped easily.

  7. Format: deliver both characters in CC5, as our animators work in CC5.

  8. Trial project: this is a two-model test. If the first two come out well, we'll order more.

Please DM with: portfolio examples (ideally CC-ready characters or stylized faces with working facial rigs), your recommended approach, and your timeline.

Artist Needed [Hobby] Looking for a NEW 2D artist for a portfolio game looking to start their portfolio.

I am currently making a game that I plan to launch on steam just to bulk out my CV (Resumé) a little, and add to my portfolio. I need art for my game and I do not want to use AI for this, but instead want to find someone who is willing to help, or ideally someone who is young and also wants to add something to their portfolio too, and get a foot forward in the space.

It is a 2D roguelike/ rougelite game.
Rounded Cartoony vibe.
About a Neckbeard Nest.

The question I am asking is: Does anyone know anywhere that I can find such? or even know anyone/ are you this person?

Cheers in advance!

Artist Needed [HOBBY] Looking for 3D Artists (Modelers, Riggers, Animators) for an Analog Horror Web Series – THE CARETAKER PROTOCOL

• Upvotes

Hello everyone!

We are currently in production for THE CARETAKER PROTOCOL, an independent analog and industrial horror web series created by Chaztah Productions Studio. Set between the late 1960s and 1980s, the story explores the downfall of Vess Family Entertainment and the disturbing events taking place inside its manufacturing facilities (Sector 04).

Our project is heavily inspired by FNaF VHS tapes, vintage Found Footage, classic 70s/80s animatronic aesthetics (ShowBiz Pizza / Chuck E. Cheese's), and Urban Exploration/Urban Finds.

We are expanding our core team and looking for 3 to 4 dedicated 3D creators who are driven by passion for horror storytelling and artistic collaboration. This is a non-paid, passion-driven project. We want team members who are genuinely invested in creating something unique for the love of the craft, without asking "when is the payout coming?".

📋 Open Roles (3–4 positions total):

  1. 3D Environment & Prop Modeler (1–2 positions)
    • Focus: Industrial environments (factory corridors, mechanical assembly lines, vintage 70s/80s offices, machinery, and liminal spaces).
    • Style: Heavy textures of age and neglect (worn metal, aged wood, concrete, rust).
  2. Character Modeler & Rigger (1 position)
    • Focus: Modeling mechanical/animatronic endoskeletons and retro suit shells based on 2D concept art, plus setting up functional rigs.
  3. 3D Animator (1 position)
    • Focus: Animating heavy, robotic, and eerie animatronic movements, as well as subtle camera work for found-footage angles.

🎨 What You Will Work With:

  • Detailed 2D turnarounds, concept art, and floor plans provided directly by the directors.
  • A supportive, active team focused on atmospheric world-building.

📌 How to Apply / Contact:

If you want to build your portfolio and contribute to a grounded, atmospheric horror series, feel free to contact us directly via Discord:

Please share your portfolio/examples of previous work and the role you are applying for when reaching out!

Team Needed [Hobby] Solo dev with a playable prototype of a hardcore turn-based dark fantasy RPG, looking for a pixel artist and other collaborators

Hi! I'm a solo dev working on Twelve Seals (working title), a turn-based dark fantasy RPG on a grid, built in Godot with C#. It is hard by default, it autosaves constantly so there is no going back on your choices, and permadeath is optional.

The heart of the project is a world that keeps living when you are not looking at it. NPCs have their own needs, routines and goals, and events unfold without you. If bandits attack a merchant on the road, the iron shipment never reaches the blacksmith. He runs short of materials, prices shift, conversations change and new situations appear. If you find out in time, you can stop the attack and the whole chain never happens. The goal is that two playthroughs develop in genuinely different directions.

Knowledge works the same way. You don't unlock recipes and techniques by leveling up: you discover them. A note you find, a person who teaches you, a conversation you overhear in a tavern at night. What you know depends on where you went and who you listened to.

Where it stands: I have a playable prototype. Grid movement, a combat system where blows hit specific body parts, six enemy types, a grid inventory, line of sight and fog, day and night cycle, light, weather and automatic saving. The systems side is solid and heavily tested. The bottleneck is art. I make the textures myself and I'm far too slow at it, so I don't have polished visuals to show yet. That is exactly why I'm looking for help.

I'm looking for people for this unpaid hobby project:

- A pixel artist (the main need): terrain, tiles, props and buildings first, then characters and UI. You would have a real say in the visual identity, not just a list of assets to produce.

- A writer for lore and dialogue. The setting already has about 10,000 years of history: a sealed god of healing, twelve kingdoms, twelve seals.

- A composer or sound designer.

- Playtesters, later on.

I'm upfront that there is no budget. What I can offer is full credit and real creative input. A good first step could be a small test, for example a 16-tile ground set, so we can see if our styles click before committing to anything.

If this sounds interesting, send me a DM with a few examples of your work and the kind of games or atmospheres you love. Thanks for reading!

Programmers Needed [Hobby] I'm looking for a programator for mine pixel-art roguelite game.

Looking for a Unity (C#) programmer for a small game project. It's a 2D pixel-art roguelite with a dungeon, real-time combat and a village where your loot turns into permanent upgrades. I handle the art and design, and an earlier version of the game already exists.

We're building a small playable version with a clear scope and a time limit. Experience with Unity 2D is a plus, but willingness to learn counts too. This is a non-commercial portfolio project, not paid work.

If you're interested, message me with something you've worked on. DM me here on Reddit or add me on Discord: polik9000. I'll share the details of the game in message or on a call.

Testers needed [Hobby] Finding hackathon teammates is still done in random WhatsApp groups, so I built a board for it. Roast it.

Every hackathon goes the same way: “need 1 frontend dev” gets posted in five WhatsApp groups, nobody knows who can actually build, and half the teams form the night before.

So I built CrewForge:

crewforge.online

Hackathons sync daily from Unstop. About 75 open coding hackathons right now. Business-plan contests and quizzes are filtered out, and each card shows the deadline, team size and mode.

Post your team with the roles you’re missing (frontend, ML, design…).

Solo? Apply to a team with your role and a short note. The team owner accepts or declines, and gets your contact only if you choose to share it.

No real names or emails are shown. Everyone appears as an anonymous builder handle, and your GitHub or portfolio is optional.

Free, and open to every college.

It’s early, and very few teams are on it yet, which is exactly why I’m posting. If you’re heading into a hackathon in the next few weeks, put your team up and see who applies.

What I’d love from you:

Would you actually use this over WhatsApp or Discord?

What would make you trust a stranger as a teammate?

What’s broken? Tell me.

Team Needed [Hobby] [RevShare] I need a team of people for a 3rd person survival game

Hi, I’m an independent designer looking to form a small team of a programmer, character/concept artist, environment/asset artist and animator to help build a prototype or vertical slice of a game.
I do not have a portfolio as this is my first project.

There is no upfront payment and no dedicated budget, but I’d happily organize a revenue share contract and get fundraising. Mostly just a fun project to see if people are interested in passionately working on it and expanding their portfolio.

The game: Songs of the Unwritten- Morning Frost (working name)

A 3rd-person survival action-adventure game focused on fluid combat, unique locations to explore and mounted travel.

What the prototype needs
-A 3rd-person over the shoulder camera
-A clean, unobtrusive HUD with clear visual indicators
-A multi-activate saving checkpoint system of resting benches (similar to Hollow Knight)
-Minor additions

A simple 1-5 enemy combat and exploration physics with one of the main characters and one small location is sufficient for this project.

Programmer: can code climbing/movement physics and enemy AI
Artists: can create characters and assets for the map
Animator: can design smooth animations to attacks/movement.

DM/email me if interested!

Hi, I’m Wessam, a programmer with 4 years of experience. I’m looking for remote work as either a Unity gameplay programmer or a backend developer. I’m happy to take on either role depending on what your team needs.

I work with Unity and C# on the game side, and NestJS, .NET, PlayFab, and brainCloud on the backend side. I like building modular systems that other programmers can maintain and designers can configure.

Some of the responsibilities I’ve handled:

  • Building gameplay systems including combat, inventory, quests, and progression.

  • Working on server-authoritative multiplayer, matchmaking, lobbies, and world streaming.

  • Building a NestJS/WebSocket backend with friends, direct messages, and match invitations.

  • Integrating authentication, saved progress, virtual currency, remote configuration, and remotely managed content with PlayFab.

  • Connecting backend APIs to game clients and UI, including timeout and retry handling.

  • Building reusable UI with UI Toolkit and MVC, creating Unity tools, and refactoring existing systems.

I’m looking for part-time or full-time contract work. My rate is €20-25/hour, depending on scope and duration. I am comfortable with both hourly billing or a fixed monthly salary. I prefer to receive payments via SEPA bank transfer, or wise.

Feel free to DM me here or fstd3ad on discord with a little about your project and what you need help with! I also accept emails which you can send to mwessam839@gmail.com

I couldn't find the Voice Actors flair so I added Audio needed.

This is hobby project for now, until demo is finished so I am looking for people who wish to help and maybe expand their portfolio, and if demo have good traction and generate community and interest then definitely some paid job for people who already have voice added in demo. I am slowly finishing communication and quest system (I will post video, I used AI for it as placeholder for testing) and need Voice Acting for older male (Kees), and around 30 years old female (Mara) voices in languages I posted above. The demo would have no more than 20-30 quests (dialogues are not written yet i really don't have much time as solo dev already working 10+ hours per day on project) so that you have idea about scope. My wife would do the English voice, even though she is Dutch and I need Irish female and Male characters because the protagonists are Irish space settlers, but I guess finding Irish voice actors would be miracle.

I am developing 6dof space combat sim and I am just over 2000 hours in it.

Pilot is locked in seat like Elite Dangerous was while back.

This is not an idea, my game already have more than half mechanics, combat, flying, flight assist, missiles, shields, armor, hull health, live power, storage, stations services, loot and loot pickup, basic enemies random spawning, quality system, orbital mechanics, combat etc...

I am lacking in 3d arts, level design and audio because everything I have is literally placeholder and I have no time to get learning blender for 10 hours per day until I don't finish all basic mechanics, then I ll get to Blender and 3d.

I won't be using any AI generated assets, All assets have to be human made even if take me year longer to develop only demo.

Writters, Audio in UE5 guys and 3d/Level designers are also welcome, god knows I could use some help.

My DM's are open, I apologize for AI voice, as I said its placeholder for showcasing the mechanics and that is why I am here, to find real human voices if possible.

Artist Needed [RevShare]

Hey everyone! I’m currently working solo on a stylized, low-poly psychological horror/extraction game in Unity, and I’m looking for a 3D artist buddy to team up with.

The Concept:

You play as a cleanup crew taking on contract tasks in places recently hit by monster attacks (e.g., cleaning out an abandoned factory, recovering specific items, or fixing machinery). While completing tasks, you salvage leftover valuables to sell for gear upgrades—all while the monsters are still lurking in the shadows. Think R.E.P.O. meets Burglin' Gnomes, with a mix of dread, corporate comedy, and greed.

Where the project is at:

The main scripts in unity are made such as movement, picking up objects and looking around, the main character is made too, but not really well that's why I am looking for a 3d artist

What I'm looking for:

A 3D artist who wants to collaborate on building out low-poly environmental assets (industrial props, factory rooms, debris, lootable items) to give the world a atmospheric, gritty look. A sound designer would be good as well as I don't have any equipment nor software for sound making.

The Vibe:

This is a hobby/rev-share (depending on how much you made to the project and if we make it to steam) collaboration focused on making something super fun, learning along the way, and shipping a cool indie title together. No corporate pressure just couple of devs building a fun game.

If you're interested, want to check out some prototype clips, or just want to chat about game design ideas, shoot me a DM here or hit me up on Discord deb00xx.
