Hello and welcome to the weekly Disassembly room thread! The Blantent Toxicity rule is very lenient in here. This thread is a place for trash talking and complaining.

Here are the only rules of this thread:

1) Fans of all teams are welcome!

2) Trash talk != direct personal insults. Please keep that in mind

3) Still no rooting for injuries

4) No politics

5) Upvote good trash talk

6) don’t downvote just because someone roots for another team

7) Trash talk to your hearts content!

Another day, another great start from Dan Vladar. What an unbelievable free agent signing he's been.

After that 1st game vs Pittsburgh where we wouldn't have beat an ECHL team I saw more tweets/comments than I should've about how giving him an extension was so stupid & how he was a fluke.

Since then he has a 0.921 sv% in 5 starts & has looked every bit like the guy we saw last year.

So happy we got him extended because had they waited he could've demanded significantly more $.

Backbone of the team.

Hunter McDonald seek & destroy. 💥

I've yet to see one single reason why McDonald shouldn't be on this team going forward. Enough of Benoit. He's genuinely god awful.

Danny's 2023 draft class is looking like a big hit so far.

Currently the 2023 draft class is putting in some serious minutes and putting up numbers for the team and not even all the top prospects are in the NHL yet.

7th - Matvei Michkov - Superstar in the making.
22nd - Oliver Bonk - Looks like a top 4 Dman maybe even a top pair.
51st - Carson Bjarnason - Looks to be a #2 in the making, but who knows with goalies.
87th - Yegor Zavragin - A top prospect, projected to be a future starting goalie. 95th - Denver Barkey - Currently a middle six forward that hasn't hit his ceiling.
103rd - Cole Knuble - Current bottom six that hasn't hit his ceiling.

Throw in the rise and development of 2024 picks Luchanko and Bergland looks like maybe Danny actually knows what he is doing in the draft. We're not a perfect team but the future is bright and we might have an abundance of talent in the near future.

[Oconnor] The Flyers did indeed postpone Thursday's scheduled Chalk Talk for STHs w/Tocchet & the rest of the coaching staff. The email -- which came in the form of a letter from Dan Hilferty -- doesn't directly say why, but notes the coaches are focusing on the games ahead.

Tyson Foerster might be the most overvalued flyer in the last 50 years

• Upvotes

2 points in his last 22 games

Defensive metrics have gone down consistently for the past 3 year since his rookie year.

He’s on contract for the next 9 years. 60 million dollar contract. Brutal

The flyers have a better record in the last year with him out of the lineup

He’s never been able to stay healthy

The dude can’t skate

I’d trade him for a roll of flex tape

Signing guys like him is a sure fire way to be the epitome of mediocrity

It sounds brutal but this is the reality

Anyone else have this issue? The score/game clock has some random windows looking screen saver over it? Deleted the app, reinstalled. Only happens on TNT and only use it when watching the flyers. PS- CONGRATS COLE!! KEEP IT GOING BUDDY!!
