[Highlight] Nine years ago last night, Enrique “Kiké” José Hernández González Jr. became the first Dodger to belt three homers in a postseason game in Game 5 of the 2017 NLCS, punching the Dodgers’ ticket to their first World Series in 29 years. He was a 3-run homer short of the home run cycle.

“H🏀🏀P Season” The Soohoo Scrapbook
“When becoming rattled setting up to photograph this group pic at Came back Ranch, I was so happy getting all the lighting right and ducks in order, I completely rushed the shoot not realizing the props Mookie and Kiké were holding completely messing up the potential 2026 Media Guide cover...It eventually worked for something else..
Happy H🏀🏀P season. Sorry Dorado!🤣”

I’m sleeping well
They’re brought me joy for the last two years…and I know management will do whatever they can to get them back to the top. I’m not worried.

A plan to get us through the Winter until Spring Training starts
So if we only watch the winning games from this season, and not necessarily watch every day (maybe take the weekends off or watch every other day?) will that get us through until Spring Training starts? Ran it by the wife and she's all for it. Now I just have to find where we can watch the games we want. I guess I should have used the built-in DVR. I'm bored without Dodger baseball. It's going to be a long Winter. Any other suggestions?

From Kiké Hernández’s wife, Mariana’s IG: “You always show up with a grateful heart, determination, curiosity and care for those that surround you. Grateful for another year of Dodger baseball. Let's see what's next.”

Amazing how the "little guys" don't have a chance, yet the Brewers and Rays made the WS.
It's almost like payroll doesn't guarantee a win, for all the Dodgers' haters out there. Guess baseball isn't ruined after all. Imagine that.
The game I will forever remember

Alex Vesia: “By far the hardest year of my career. It's hard to put into words what this season was like. Personal battles with confidence, expectations and highs and lows mentally. I can't thank my teammates enough for picking me up on down days and dealing with my crazy ass on my high ones..."
Mike Breen defends Fox's Joe Davis over Dodgers call criticism: 'I don't see any bias at all'

Can it end now?
I'm so freaking tired of listening to crappy teams complain that large market teams just buy championships. I mean i still have not forgotten the 32 years between 88 and 20.
But this year every team playing in the league championships are from the lower half of the team payroll rankings accept the dodgers and we got swept.
The world series is now a battle between two small markets ranked 17th and 19th in payroll sizes and both teams legitimately won their divisions and leagues.
So for the 13 other teams in the bottom half of payrolls, stop bitching about fairness. If you can't win its because your team and front office just suck. It's your own damn faults not the market.

Kim Do Yeong 3B 2028/29
With our season over, there is not as many posts so just thought that I would throw something out there. This is a player that perhaps we can keep an eye out for the future.
Kim Do Yeong is a Korean player, who plays 3B currently on the Kia Tigers in the KBO. He is eligible to be posted in either the 2028 or 2029 season.
The reason I bring him up is because Max Muncy's, our current Dodgers beloved 3B, contract ends in 2028. There is a club option for that season, and he will become a free agent in 2029. Max Muncy was born in 1990 and is 36 this year, in August of 2028, he will become 38 years old, and we would need a replacement.
For those who do not know about Kim Do Yeong, here is some info on him.
He was born in October of 2003 so will be 25 years old for the 2028 season.
He entered the KBO in 2022 and has now played in 5 seasons.
In 2024, he helped his team become the champions of the KBO winning the Korean series and he was the regular season MVP at just 21 years old.
2026 season, he has hit 45 HR, 118 RBI, .308 BA with a war of 8.9. Yes this is the KBO, so perhaps we can take those numbers with a grain of salt, but there was a post on Instagram that showed the world WAR leaders and he was second to only to Pete Crow Armstrong. 2024, he became the youngest player to have a 30/30 season. 2026, he became the youngest player in the KBO with 40+ HR, 100+ RBI, 100+ runs scored.
He is currently playing in the KBO playoffs and he has helped his team dispatch the LG Twins, the team that won the championship in 2025. This was the Semi-Playoffs and he was picked as the MVP. He only had 3 hits but all were homeruns, one being a grand slam. His team is now entering a matchup in the next round with the Samsung Lions.
On top of this, he was on the Korean National Team that played in the Asian Games a few months back where they beat Team Japan for the Gold Medal. He has now also received his military exemption with that accomplishment.
Some things of concern...
We never have really seen a good position player, strong bat come out of Korea. Choo Shin Soo is there, but a lot of other players, like Kim Ha Seong, had a good season or two but that is about it. Lee Jung Hoo of SF Giants had a great stretch this season and then crashed We even see the struggle of our own beloved Kim Hyeseong, so we need to see how his bat translates over.
Also, he missed almost the entirety of the 2025 season with hamstring injuries. He ended up playing only 30 games or so. Other than that, though, it does not seem he has any other injury concerns at this time.
I know Sato from Japan just got posted and a lot of people are high on him as well. But Korean players have typically gotten smaller, cheaper contracts and with the possible lockout, contract changes in the future, perhaps something to consider as well.
Sorry if the post was so long but just wanted to share something on another off day. Be well and as always, let's go Dodgers!

I'd love to see Miggy Ro throwing out the first pitch in the first home game of next season (whenever it may be) and get the standing Ovation he deserves...
Let Miggy Ro throw the first pitch in the first game of the next season, whenever it may be...
He deserves a standing ovation for his 2025 heroic. He should get one but Doc pulled him out in game 4 of the NLCS before he even gets the chance to bat...
I'd really love that to happen

Does anyone know if they made one of these for the 2024 championship?
I’ve never been able to find one but I’d like to have both of them framing my giant B2B sign

Tortured by Reddit’s algorithm
How awful is the “best” feature, the default layout for browsing, particularly when it comes to sports? Normally, you just get fed some way out of date posts about some game that happened days ago - but with your team getting eliminated in the playoffs it’s so much worse. Reddit just greeting me with week old hopium posts about the Dodgers coming back in the NLCS , etc. just brutal.
Anyone else annoyed by this? Is there really no way to change the default from “best” which is actually the fucking worst???

Baseball stops when the Dodgers stop playing. How about the rest of you?
I’m a contemptuous child who doesn’t care about who wins if the Dodgers aren’t in the playoffs. I know I should care as a fan of baseball, but couldn’t care less about who wins. How about the rest of you guys?
