Question 🐾 Did someone you know recently take in a Siamese cat? $1,000 reward. No questions asked.

My beloved Maite (pronounced My-tay) has been missing since August 23, and I haven’t stopped searching for her.

šŸ“± If you've seen Maite or know someone who recently took in a Siamese-looking cat, please call or text 505-633-0426.

She’s an indoor-only, microchipped Siamese/tortie-point mix with beautiful blue eyes, a tan & brown body, and distinctive tortoiseshell markings on her dark face & legs. Her dark brown tail has a lighter tip. She’s about 11 pounds and incredibly affectionate.

As the weeks go by, I can’t help wondering whether someone found her and took her in, perhaps believing she was abandoned or homeless.

Please think about your neighbors, friends, family, or coworkers. Has anyone mentioned finding a Siamese-looking cat in the past two months? Has a new cat appeared in someone’s home or yard?

If someone has taken Maite in and cared for her, I’m grateful she’s been safe. I just desperately want her back.

šŸ’°There is a $1,000 reward for her safe return. No questions asked.

She disappeared from Chelwood Park Blvd NE, just north of Lomas. Nearest major cross streets: Lomas & Tramway, but she could be anywhere by now.

Even if you haven't seen Maite, you can still help. Please share her photo with friends, family, neighbors, and local community groups. The more people who recognize her face, the better her chances of coming home.

Please help me bring my girl home. She’s not just a cat to me. She’s family, and I miss her more than I can express. šŸ’”

Albuquerque please keep your eyes open for this individual! 5’4ā€, has brown hair with green highlights, typically worn with a rat tail. Last seen wearing a black and white plaid over shirt, black pants and black shoes. I just want them to get home safely. If you see them, please call 911 immediately. They were last seen in Farmington, NM on Oct 17 at 7:10am, they left in a vehicle accompanied by at least 2 others, one of which is likely a female close in age. Please share this post far and wide. It’s been four days with no contact. They may only answer to the name Ashe.

Kids on Electric Dirt Bikes Messing With Homes and Cars Late at Night… Parents, Please Do Better.

Post image
150 Upvotes

If this is your kid, you may want to have a conversation with them about respecting other people’s property.

Late Saturday night, between approximately 10 PM and 1 AM, this kid and another individual were riding electric dirt bikes around our neighborhood and were caught on camera messing with a neighbor’s house and vehicle.

The police were called, and while the kids managed to get away this time, neighbors are aware of what happened and are keeping an eye out.

What might seem like harmless fun to these kids is disrespectful, potentially dangerous, and could have serious consequences.

Albuquerque parents, please talk to your kids about respecting other people’s homes, vehicles, and property.

Vote early in person or absentee. I personally voted absentee and dropped it off a the Cherry Hills Public Library Ballot Box. It was received in less than two days.

Do not sit this one out. No political candidate is perfect, but it's not worth letting us go backwards and remove the progress we've started to make with Childcare. Let's elect the people that will let us challenge them when in office, not the ones who will have a bunch of big goons haul people out and arrest them for speaking their mind, like our neighbors in Texas are doing.

It smells gnarly in uptown

Sad because I like a lot of the businesses in uptown but it is almost unbearable to walk there. It seems to be more concentrated in the lot near satellite.

Possibly ICE at Sandia Vista Apartments near Tramway and Copper?

Anybody know what's going on at Sandia Vista Apartments, just west of Tramway and north of Copper NE? I saw a bunch of black pickup trucks with flashing emergency type lights outside and inside the complex. Not ACS or APD. Being curious, I tried driving toward the entrance and I was waved away by a couple of them. Maybe ICE?

Lisa Curtis District 31

It's worth mentioning for people in District 31 in particular that Lisa Curtis is a well know medical malpractice trial attorney in this state. She has ammased considerable wealth secondary to these endeavors.

Maybe this matters to you, maybe it doesn't, but I feel it merits mentioning given our current medical provider shortage.

Edit to remove overly provocative language.

Question advice on rehoming my not-so-nice cat?

Thumbnail

I’ve been dreading the idea for years but I think it’s time to rehome my cat. She’s become progressively always played a little rough even with me as a kitten, but has become progressively more aggressive to our other pets to the point that she literally has to live alone in our office full time. She does get along with our other cat still, though plays a bit aggressive, but can’t stand our largest dog. She’s admittedly not even the nicest to people besides myself, though I think that may slightly be a familiarity thing. I feel terrible that it’s where she is all day, and has led to the space being largely unusable.

That being said, I can no longer afford to sacrifice the space as I recently found out I’m pregnant. I don’t want to surrender her in fear she’ll be euthanized, but I don’t have anyone to take her in and am at a loss. I think she’d do great as a solo pet but honestly couldn’t say for certain since she’s been living with the rest of my pets for years now which I feel has largely led to the personality change. Any advice would be appreciated :)

ā€¼ļøPLEASE HELP MY FRIEND LOCATE HER CAT (10/18 approximately 10:00am)ā€¼ļø

I know she’s hard to identify because she’s a black cat with no markings, but if you see any black cat that’s a little chunkier in weight, please contact me.

She ran away from the Gibson and Unser area on the west side of Albuquerque, more specifically the 98th street and 86th street area. We’re not 100% sure when she left, but it had to have been a few hours now.

She may respond to the name ā€œPharaā€ or ā€œPanteraā€. She’s super loving and has no history of being mean or skittish but she may get spooked as it’s her first time running off in a city. She used to be a small town cat.

Please share if you can!!
