Go wash your mouth out with sopapillas.
Now that you clicked on this post, here’s a few things that you should know.
Some people ask similar questions quite often.
• I’m moving here, where should I live?
• Who’s coming for “remember the alamo day” and where should I eat dinner?
• What parts of town are safe and have the fewest teenagers wearing hoodies?
• When will these red light runners stop?
• Where is Mayor Webber doing such a great job?
• Why am i reading this?
I’d highly recommend looking through a few pages of old posts as your questions may have already been answered there more than a few times before. If you decide to ask these or similar questions, be advised that you may be met with eye rolls or stronger derision.
We have a Wiki here, if you’d like to contribute, let me know.

Look here if you're interested in what r/SantaFe has to say about:

This list is by no means extensive and is merely an invitation to explore what the subreddit has already posted (and hopefully the links update as new posts are made). I'm putting this together for fun based on terms I've seen show up often or terms that are specific to Santa Fe/ NM so I hope you enjoy. Let me know - what did I miss on the list?? Add it below with a link to the search result.

Rays above ABQ
This is the sunrise in Albuquerque this morning 10/22/26 peeking through the clouds.
Crepuscular rays are those dramatic beams of sunlight that fan out across the sky during sunrise or sunset, usually breaking through gaps in clouds or mountains. They look like they're converging at a single point, but that's just an optical illusion caused by perspective, much like parallel train tracks appearing to meet in the distance.

Fall is here, anyone need gutters cleaned or a driveway pressure washed?
Figured I’d put this out there since fall is the best time to get the exterior of the house taken care of before winter.
I do gutter cleaning around town. I clear out the leaves, dirt, and debris, bag it up and haul it away, and flush the downspouts so water drains the way it should. Clogged gutters tend to go unnoticed until water is spilling over the edge or ice builds up along the roofline, so it’s worth getting done before the first real storms or snow.
I also do pressure washing for driveways, sidewalks, patios, and siding. If your concrete has stains, oil spots, or that dark buildup, it makes a big difference, and I have before and after photos from recent jobs if you want to see them.
Pricing for both depends on the size of the house or area, so if you send me a photo or a rough idea of what you’re working with, I can get you a quote without needing to come out first. If you want to do both in one visit, I’m happy to work out a better price.
Thank you!

Presbyterian affiliated doctors
Does anyone here have experience you can relate, with primary care (family) doctors who are linked to the Presbyterian system, here in Santa Fe? I have had a good 10 year experience with Presbyterian specialists (here and in ABQ), and have become disenchanted with my Christus linked primary care doc here. I know leaving a doc and looking for a new one, given the difficulty of finding one in the first place, is maybe a fool's errand...Thanks for advice in advance.

San Antonio Hot Springs Road conditions?
Headed to Santa Fe this weekend and hoping to check out San Antonio Hot Springs.
I saw online that some people say it can be difficult to get to. I'm just going to be in whatever sedan the rental car place gives me.
Hoping someone local can let me know the deal.

FARMERS ALONG THE RIO GRANDE:PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR UNM RESEARCH STUDY
Hi there,
I am a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of New Mexico seeking farmers to participate in a research study about farming along the Rio Grande and in nearby agricultural communities in New Mexico.
I am interested in learning about farmers' experiences with land and water, the economic realities of making a farm work over time, the ways farmers exchange knowledge and resources, and how changing environmental and water conditions affect farmers and their well-being.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
· Are 18 years of age or older
· Currently farm or work on a farm
· Are currently farming in New Mexico
· Have at least 5 years of experience with sustainable farming
· Are able to participate in an interview conducted in English
What does participation involve?
Participation involves a 45–90 minute interview about your experiences with farming, land, water, agricultural communities, and the challenges and opportunities involved in sustaining a farm over time.
Interviews can take place in person, by phone, or by Zoom, depending on your preference.
Participation is completely voluntary. You may choose not to answer any question or stop the interview at any time.
Interested or want to know if you qualify?
Please contact me directly by email rather than commenting on the public post:

Either that or some has been I'll I formed and thinks that any camera on a light post/traffic light is a flock camera. I'll be driving around and checking to see later today if it is actually that.

Any gyms near downtown that open before 7 AM?
I usually get my run in first thing, but winter is making outdoor stuff less appealing and the apartment gym setup is pretty basic. Most places near downtown seem to open around 7 or 8, which cuts into my workday. Curious if anyone has found a spot that opens earlier or lets you in with a key fob before staff shows up. Tried a couple hotel gyms but they were either restricted to guests or just a couple treadmills in a closet. Not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere consistent with free weights and maybe a rower so I can mix it up. The community center out by the college is open early but the drive adds up.
