Why did they suddenly just remove the subscription bar on the phone??? Does Computers/laptops still have it.?

So frustrating how it no longer skips both ads, instead it just skips the first one and goes to the next one. It never used to do this on Mobile. And then it will say "You will get fewer interruptions" after this ad break, but that is simply not the case. It is just so annoying.

This won’t go away even though i restart the app. If this is some new feature, it’s buns.

to start the post: i have premium, this in my opinion would count as ads, does it not? why am i paying to avoid ads on youtube just to get youtube's "special" stuff still? i may just be complaining for no reason since you can just click the X to remove it but i still think its a bit messy or like pushy. theres also a lot of other things with promoting stuff, those like "sponsored" games or like shorts with promotional items.

Found a message feature on YouTube

Reloading a page takes ages, and I frequently get a blank page with "check your internet connection"; comments won't load for ages, my own posted comments will remain in the loopy loading icon limbo for ages until I give up anyway (like, seriously: yesterday i tried to leave a comment. It would not go through; I went for dinner, came back 45 minutes later, and it was STILL getting posted).
Once you get them to lead the videos playthrough goes smoothly, so I know it's not a matter of slow internet (I have optic fiber internet anyway, it's not slow by any stretch of the imagination on any other site)

I cannot stand the fact that I am still unable to post gifs on youtube. I just can't with it. I wanna post them too :(

I realised I haven’t watched a full 20–40-minute YouTube video in months. When something looks interesting, I usually ask AI to explain it instead.

But when I type “summarise this video,” the answer often sounds like an advert. It says a lot without telling me much. I want to know: What is the video actually about? What problem does it help with? What can I learn from it?

Does anyone else do this? What exactly do you ask AI to get a clear, useful summary without all the extra words? Share the wording you use so others can try it too.

Anyone had this problem with download videos, when I want to watch video download even when it's online it glitch out and for some reason during the start it speed up video and then freeze , make it hard to screen cast video to TV

I opened up my YouTube app this morning to download a video from one of my channel subscriptions and the subscription button was gone and replaced by some shorts/slop button that I backed out of so quick I almost dropped my phone! What the **** is this? I literally have selected things I want to watch and the way I get to that is now gone. Does YouTube just not want me to use YouTube? The whole purpose of it is to watch whatever you want! I don't need your slop and brain rot feed to get through my day. But I do enjoy watching things I find interesting when I have time to watch something. Can we please just do what made YouTube so great to begin with?

How I got this? Basically the video playback speed is normal but the video blasted when I play and plays frame by frame when paused. So the video ended before the time hit so the video got confused on the ending so the time didn't stop

For context, the video was about some kind of "restaurant" that sells food plushies. And the workers were so energetic when they were doing their job.

When I look at the comment, I notice that I've seen some negative comments with few to zero likes. I know that people like these have been on Youtube for a long time. But the thing is that I usually found these type of people, only when I sorted the comment to the newest. This time however, even though, I sorted it to the top, they still appeared in there.

I checked the comments in other videos and the same thing also happens in there.

What do you guys think?

So many videos have these chapters and it gets SOOOO annoying. Can someone tell me how to remove these??

I’m not going to post a photo because i don’t know the rules around that sort of stuff on here and I don’t want kids to be flashed but there is some on nearly every major youtuber’s new videos. Does youtube do anything about them or does reporting them do nothing?

Idk if it was something I searched up, something I watched or not but for some reason now my page is being completely filtered, content from creators I used to see just fine, the history of me watching said videos is still there, now it's all just censored?? Not even telling me why either.

Its's really annoying having to organise a lot of long playlists manually. Especially when I want to create a new playlist and use another person's playlist as a base to add new videos and I have to manually create and add all of those same videos.

Does anyone have any recommendations for websites, apps, software or CLIs? Preferably open source and free but I'm ok with anything so long as it works.
