I got recommended this 21 year old video and it seemed to be kinda like an ARG, can anyone help me find out if it is or not?

Im not here to criticize or be negative about Art content creators but evey time I open YT, I always get bombarted by vids that has explicit content, goon-bait htumbnail and straight up corn promoting channels. Always the same slop, but these kinds of vids and animation in general are getting views like crazy.

I guess being an animation style Youtuber is an easy way of making money...

I find this funny tbh. Everytime I got copyrighted music on a stream. I get blocked in Russia. Anyone got the same problem?

Some people said he started these highly edited almost uncanny valley types of thumbnails, and recently it's become the standard for big channels.

Do you think he really started this? Some say it's just the evolution of clickbait title/thumbnails.

Found this on my YouTube recommendation feed, and wowie am I surprised that YouTubers ACTUALLY know what the word "ACCOUNTABILITY" means.

The app is struggling to consistently play videos on my IPhone. My internet speed is good, I restarted all involved devices and have even deleted and reinstalled the app, yet the problem doesn’t seem to go away.
Videos load way slower than usual and when they do, they are often interrupted by the buffering symbol.

Has anyone been experiencing something similar or have any ideas how to solve this?

Today I have gotten a new problem with an YouTube app on my phone. The videos take a lot of time before starting and constantly they are pausing to load. I tought it was my internet, but every other App or browser showed no issues, in fact while using youtube in chrome browser on the same device and same internet connection videos are loading normally without constantly getting paused. I tried clearing App cache and days, deleted updates and updated it again. Restarted router, restarted device. Nothing works, still long loads with constant pauses. What might cause the problem?

There is no way 7.7B people watched this bs. YouTube has been recommending me strange videos lately like this one. How the hell does this have 7.7 Billion views in 3 seconds?

also why is there a giant empty space?

I've noticed that only the videos that play when you hover over them on the homepage load for me. None of the videos that don't hover-play load in 1080p, only in 360 or lower. Could it be my browser or my internet provider?

Hello, since yesterday the Youtube app doesn't load videos anymore. I can watch like 30 seconds and then it's an endless buffer. I also updated the app, it didn't help.

Idk if I’m the only one experiencing this but when I try to watch a video it plays for like 30 seconds and after that it’s constantly loading. Even when I put the quality down it still doesn’t work. Anybody have any fixes?

So I got so many old vid to point I just make a playlist for it so ik how many old vid did I just encounter, it only happened on my phone YouTube, luckily i don't experience that weirdness on my laptop or tv tho

Anyone know the answer? And btw there is a moment where I just found so many old vid in a day it felt like my entire YouTube fyp only had old vid

a few days ago i commented something on a short (it was me basically dissing a character’s voice) but a few days later, i was watching a separate video (not shorts) when i saw MY COMMENT in the comment section. the reason why i’m kinda freaking out is because that video happened to be an FNF COVER and if the creator saw my comment they would think i was hating on them 😭😭😭😭

i deleted the comment there and made another apologising for the mistake but does anyone know how i can stop this from happening?? it has happened a few times before and i don’t wanna repeat my mistake

Uploaded a short, watched it upload, received a confirmation message that it was uploaded, and then it disappeared from my channel and I don't see it on YouTube Studio. I hear something similar happened a few years back?

Update: I uploaded the short as private and then saved it to a playlist before it disappeared. It disappeared and I can't see it anywhere, but it's still accessible from the playlist I saved it to???

Update 2: Uploaded a 7 second short directly to public instead of scheduling. This short is behaving normally?

Update 3: I can see them but they're videos instead of shorts now?

So weird issue, I can't click some of the videos on youtubes homepage on my browser when signed in. Like for example, clicking over the video acts like theres nothing there, middle clicking to open in a new tab goes into scroll. Right clicking is treating the video like an image. I can sign out and it works like normal. Tried in two different browsers, same issue in both edge and chrome. I've tried clearing cache, no changes, disabled extensions, no change. Clicking the video title works, just not the video itself. It's a minor issue since I can still open videos by clicking on the title but it's irritating.

Dunno how they messed up that badly, but now I'm getting issues like.

Black screen when starting the app sometimes and when I click on a video, the UI disappears and ads will play.

Scrolling through shorts makes it eventually freeze up with audio still playing.

I constantly click on ads which redirects me to a different page which is very frustrating.
