I haven't watched her videos in years and was surprised to see this so I decided to give it a try. The whole thing is dripping with generative AI. The thumbnail and the costume packaging. Wouldn't be surprised if the script was AI too. Admittedly, I was a bit surprised because, as problematic as she is, she seemed to have this moral superiority complex thing.

Also sad to note that absolutely no-one is calling it out.

Some bot accounts, some older accounts. I have no specific discussion point here other than observing this and the resulting cringing sadness at the state of the world.

Seriously, it's like every three videos there's some clickbait crap about which bear would win in a fight, or which rapper had the best shoes, or whatever. It's always the most random junk that I have absolutely no interest in; and even if it was relevant to content I actually watch, I still don't want it.

If I wanted to scroll Twitter, I would. Half the damned posts are literally Twitter screenshots as it is. I want to watch videos. Stop trying to manipulate people into freaking doomscrolling.

I'm so sick of this. These people never stop. It's always some new ingenious way to screw with your head for engagement. This is worse than advertisements, because you can at least block ads.

For the past few years various governments/companies have been pretty hellbent on ruining the internet as we know and as we all know youtube ai moderation has been doing an abysmal job. My some favourite channels have been demonitized and can't do anything about it, i have also been hearing that austrian/german folk music has also been demonitized. My country, my culture, my home being censored like this is absolute BS. I always wanted to post smth on youtube and have people watch them however i don't think it is going to be a absolute detrement to my life in general.

What doesent Help is the other news we have been getting recently Eu kids act, ai slop, ad virusses, PHP2shell its just too much. icould play games but i neither have the money nor the will to trudge through the slop to get anything even remotely good.

atp i think i dont even want to have any connection to the internet and that is bad bc the internet is fun.

atp i just wanna do something extreme (not killing myself no) idk if i sound like a psycho but it is genuinely what i think.

I've never watched or engaged with right-wing content, nor much of any political content for that matter. So why has Youtube been flooding my FYP with MAGA community posts for about a week now?

The screenshots above are just a small selection, there are hundreds and they're just getting more and more.

How can I get rid of them? I'm asking because I can't tell Youtube to stop recommending a certain channel's community posts, like I could with videos.

So far I have not interacted with them beyond taking these screenshots.

It was weird wbpugh when Sony started doing this weird partnership with her where all it consisted of are merchandise and controllers with this chick's eyes on them, but it's gotten even weirder with YouTube devoting a whole section to this rando on the home page. At least in the mobile app. It's gotten ridiculous with how much this chick's being pushed here.

Is there a way for YouTube creators to turn off/on the promotional ad QR codes that appear as an overlay on videos? Or is this something that Google has just decided to foist on everyone?

Hi everyone. So I am thinking of setting up a Youtube channel and am trying to decide whether I want to film my travel videos with myself/my face and voice in the video or as a voiceover. I have read some horror stories about people who have been trolled and identified/followed/home tracked etc due to being in such videos. Do you think this is a major concern or am I overthinking it? I am robust enough to tolerate some nasty comments but I am concerned about people harrassing me in public. I even read a post online about a Youtuber who had fireworks launched at their home because someone didn't like their Youtube opinions. Does anyone have any negative experiences that they want to share? Or any advice?
