Is there anyone else that is downloading this new call of duty game and it’s updating the old one too so you can’t play. But it doesn’t even allow you to do anything on the new game. And here we are taking up 75% of our terabyte for two call of duty games.

Edit: they of course are letting me utilize the shop and battle pass screen while things are updating to ensure I spend more money on this game.

So I just started taking advantage of this option. This has so much potential/this is awesome m. Tbh it’s more of a convenience factor currently for me than anything. I love not having to get off the couch and switching games no problem. I’m a big buy hard copy type of guy. But Xbox made the best comprise. I love this factor. Thank you Xbox.

Seems ridiculous you spend 2k (Canadian) and it comes with a cardboard stand. Guess it’s environmentally friendly?

It’s been months of deciding, I’m finally gonna do it. Been a PC guy for years. I grew up with the 360, I love Xbox, I just need to pull the trigger.
Where do you guys recommend I get the most bang for my buck? Refurb is totally fine, I’ll spend whatever money I need to spend, but I don’t want to get ripped off.
Is Microsoft refurb solid? FB marketplace? Just looking for any advice on where to buy, and if there’s any specifics I should watch out for. Open to any and all advice.
Also, is it too late?? Should I just wait for next gen? I can’t lie, I will lose sleep if I can’t play GTA 6 on release, so that’s part of my urgency here.
Last question - what was your biggest decider when buying one? Gamepass? Cloud play? What sold you on Xbox?

EDIT: I guess my biggest question is price. If I can get a refurb from Best Buy or Microsoft refurb, console + controller, what is a reasonable price? $700? $800? Or should I look into these $450 offers on marketplace? Some of it seems too good to be true. Curious what a reliable ballpark looks like, especially if I want to pick up the console asap.

I'm a bit sick of my limited roster of games. But hopefully things will get better in November. That's when GTA 6 comes out.

I like to boot up the Xbox Series S for an hour a couple of times per week, so really prefer games that just get right into the action and I can turn off my brain. Not a fan of story driven games nor open world style games. Don't want to pay for online either, so single player only please. And been there and done that with all the sports games and FPS.

• Just Cause 3 (yes it's open world. But I like blowing shit up)

I have the Xbox headset, and even with mic monitoring all the way up, I could not hear myself. It was awkward to talk because I didn’t know how I sounded. I see some older Reddit posts complaining about this and it seems to have never been resolved.

I noticed that if I moved the ear cuff off my left ear and put the mic right up to my mouth, I could hear myself like I always wished I could.

A lightbulb went off in my head on how to fix it, and it works great. It’s just a little ugly.

I took a coffee scooper and drilled a hole under the handle, slipped the mic through, and zipped it on. Now I can hear myself A LOT better. The scooper acts as a sattelite dish of sorts.

Anyways I just figured i would drop it here if anyone else was getting fed up with it.

It only lets me play the first mission I thought it came out with campaign today if you pre released it

Is there anyway to use an online visa gift card on the Xbox store?

I hardly ever refund things, I usually do my purchases after doing some research and stick with them. I have 2 refunds in 7 years on my account. The history of these purchases were that I was tired and thought they were something that popped up as something that was included with gamepass. I have clicked through and made the purchase and the day after I realised my mistake. Shot an email to Microsoft that declined my refund, even though I have only 30 minutes of playtime in Sea Of Thieves (one of the games) and zero playtime in the other game. I have shot them another email asking why they have to treat a loyal customer this way. This was about 15 000 points so not a BIG deal, but still points I could have used towards GTA 6 or a game for my daughter etc. This is not a support question "dear AI moderator", it's a topic for discussion about customer service and dealing with people like humans, not walking wallets. Before someone tells me that these points are "FREE", they are obviously not when you think a bit deeper about it.

Does anyone know when the next batch of games leaving Xbox Game Pass will be announced? I’m looking for the games leaving at the end of October 2026.

Once they officially roll out, will it add the additional last achievement to a game? Like the platinum trophy? (Example: i 100% the base game of metal gear rising: revengeance. Will i obtain the achievement/trophy called "revengeance" which was the name of the platinum on PS3) Or is the mythic achievement just called mythic achievement without any relation to the actual game achievements list.
