People with that pic were either chill as fuck, or not to be trusted under any circumstances.

u/andywolf8896 5h ago

Every hacker in halo had this profile pic I swear to ducking god

19

u/Heroinkirby 3h ago

I just checked with the duck gods and they say your right

4

u/Wittyngritty 3h ago

I just checked with the your/you're gods and they say you're wring

5

u/geekingoffbarz 3h ago

better to be wring than wrong i guess!!

3

u/Wittyngritty 2h ago

I was trying to continue the typo joke but I flopped 😔

3

u/Horskr 2h ago

I thought it was funny.

I’m really curious who did the artwork for all these classic gamer pics. So many of them are burned into my core memory region of my brain.

58

u/Few-Asparagus4812 7h ago

Fr, none of them match but they all worked

u/Xbox Xbox Official 5h ago

This is SO COOOOOOL ‼️

28

u/EveryStrike 4h ago

John Xbox has spoken.

2

u/Horskr 2h ago

It's Steve Xbox aka Steve Ballmer

2

u/WastedMoogle 2h ago

Can you please hook me up with the xbox720

78

u/riv965 2h ago

Their updated version of this just has no soul

34

u/Few-Asparagus4812 1h ago

Ewww wtf is that 😭

9

u/ImranFZakhaev 1h ago

Eugh, wtf. Looks like they scalped a microphone and stuck it on a dude's head

7

u/Jagraen 1h ago

It's like they ran it through an ai prompt that just said

"Make the image more realistic"

And called it a day 😬😬😬

2

u/riv965 50m ago

Shit, I did that and it came out better. I remember when they first updated the gamerpics and was super disappointed, glad I still have one I got as an achievement from a game and that it didn’t get the makeover

6

u/TecT0nicPleb 2h ago

Oh god no!!! I had no clue they remade it. This hurts to look at 😭

3

u/Murky_Theory1863 59m ago

I downvoted your comment out of a pure, visceral reaction to that image even though i agree with your statement. I corrected my vote after I calmed down some.

2

u/b88766554333567 40m ago

that’s genuinely so funny 😭

This cosplay is the best thing that has happened to Xbox all year

27

u/tocoqaz 6h ago

Nicely done

9

u/yosp Touched Grass '24 6h ago

Now this is an original cosplay👏

3

u/DjangusRoundstne 6h ago

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone attempt this or talk about wanting to do this lol.

10

u/Pretend_Try117 5h ago

For someone who had this gamer pic on the Xbox for years, I’d say even 10 to 12 and this was my go-to gamer pic. This is tight.

8

u/Few-Asparagus4812 5h ago

Same, never changed it. Beanie guy crew 🤞🏽

This one would bug me, because I wouldn't recognize it at first, and then I would get mad at myself after I did.

Great costume!

u/Ka07iiC 6h ago

This is soem nostalgia! Nicely done!

How do you do the right eye? Can you actually see through it?

2

u/Few-Asparagus4812 6h ago

I used eyelash glue to stick a piece of card to my eyelid/cheekbone, and then I just kept that eye shut 😂 prob a bad idea because the glue was tough to get off later

2

u/CabooseTrap 5h ago

Nice! I recognized it right away with out the 2nd photo!

1

u/Jimmy2Sofas 3h ago

This is the greatest thing I’ll see all week

1

u/mysterious_stranger4 3h ago

I haven't thought of that icon in literally decades, and somehow, immediately, I knew what it was. Thanks for the nostalgia, sick costume!

1

u/NewBag9855 2h ago

Practically everyone wanted to be gangster in that time, it was crazy.

1

I loved the breakdown someone made of what kind of person you could expect to be playing with based on which free icon they picked

1

u/kyrasilver33 2h ago

How’d you get the black eye? MAF?

1

u/bryanBFLYin 2h ago

This one of those costumes where everyone might not know who it is. But those that do will lose their shit and give you all the props lol

1

u/Spirited_Double7384 2h ago

Super impressive, as are all of your cosplays!

1

u/BesticleBear 2h ago

The either 1337 crew skin or the hacker skin. One of the all times best but damn was it decisive. You killed it though nice cosplay.
