New to Vinted, in the last couple of days I've bought many things for under $10, brands we are familiar with. Looking forward to getting what we've purchased, excited about the deals we've gotten. I've also saved a lot of items and almost half of it seems to sell within a day or two before I decided to purchase. It seems like everything on Vinted flies off the shelves from my perspective as a buyer.
We have been selling on eBay for over a decade. We've tried selling clothes but everyone seems to want 15 pictures and 20 measurements and we rarely sell any clothes despite the fact we have a lot of other sales. It's not worth our time to list for $10 on eBay. Everyone on eBay seems to think it's WalMart, didn't fit so they file an INAD and eBay sides with them and it ends up costing money in the end not making money.
We love to thrift, we have 4 grandkids and buy most all of their clothes at thrift stores. When the kids are done with the clothes we get them back. My wife has massive piles of clothes that "she's going to sell" but as I mentioned selling low-priced clothes on eBay isn't worth the time so it never happens. Ironically this week I found Vinted as a buyer and also convinced her to bag up a lot of clothes to donate to Goodwill, I'm now wondering if we should list them on Vinted. We literally have hundreds of pieces of clothes we could sell.
We have a label printer, we have shipping supplies, packing eBay sales is part of our weekly routine.
Is selling on Vinted as simple as it seems? Take a few pictures, fill out a few descriptions, then list? I don't see any listings with measurements. If we could put 4 or 5 kids outfits together, take 5 or 6 pictures and sell for $6 or $7 I'd be thrilled. We'd just use it to buy more on Vinted.
