So as you might know, as Paradox Gamers that we are, Victoria 2 lacks one mapmode which is present in basically every single other game in their franchises (Excluding the Hearts of Iron Franchises): A Religions Map Mode; Which is why we decided to Add it to the game, as well as a Big Conversion and Assimilation Rework, as well as State Religions Rework, more on that later, but Moralism, Atheism, Securalism for religions and Full Citizenship, Residency and Limited Citizenship and different Pop Types will have way more impact on how the game works from now on in these regards

I did use the console to steal precious metal and iron lands back from my vassal, Croatia. Dalmatia (a separate country in HPM) joined Croatia, so we get to enjoy West and East Croatia.

Mostly without console (mainly giving Baja to the United States for aesthetics), I wanted to see if the Confederacy could achieve a near-total monopoly on Cotton through the acquisition of Egypt. Conquered Libya in the 1830s and did a total annexation of Mexico, fought some containment wars, took Cuba, and the civil war came in sooner rather than later.

The trans-atlantic slave trade got reinstated and our demographics have gone kinda crazy. I'd imagine Cuba to basically be slave plantation Hell, it has the most slaves out of any island and it's a big mix of Dixie/Caribeno and Afro-Latino/American pops. I conquered Egypt just to deny the other great powers a domestic/colonial cotton source, plus I'm sure some evangelist preacher in Mississippi would justify it for Biblical reasons and Jerusalem and all that.

Gonna keep running this until 1936 and see if this monster of a power falls apart through revolution or war, wish me luck or misfortune rather, LOL.

Just hit 1870 in my new Belgium campaign. This has been my most fun and interesting campaign I’ve ever played. Only “cheat” I did was some infamy stuff but otherwise natural progression. I’m about to downsize my military because it is killing the bank and is way too big to be honest. My industry is booming but I don’t know why traditional industry like steel and glass is failing to sale in provinces with good resources for the products, any tips? Just thought I would share as no one else I know is really interested in this stuff lol

Yo, I was told by one of my friends that I should advertise my mod a bit so that the only ways to find it aren't via scrolling ModDB or being in the Vic II modding server.

I have played alot of Vicky II so I decided to try out modding like 2 years ago, with the premise being that Genghis Khan fell of his horse as a child, developed a fear of heights and thus never crossed the Urals. This led to the creation of potentially the greatest mod ever made, Fall of Genghis. The mod does not take itself very seriously, many things I added were just because I thought it was a slightly funny bit. I am slowly writing and adding lore / more narrative to the mod, but it is somewhat silly atm (and will always remain somewhat silly.)

Most of Europe has content, I would highly recommend Burgundy as they are the nation that by far has had the most effort put into it. Cappadocia, Teutonic Order, Wurtemburg and Bulgaria share 2nd place for most fun nations, in my opinion atleast. Keep in mind that Europe is not great because that is the region I finished first. Basically everything added from the next update onwards is substantially more interesting lol

Also to keep in mind is that alot of the starting situations / content was designed around creating fun dynamics for MP. I think the mod can be fun in SP aswell but rn it is def better in MP. This will probably continue to be the case until I have done every update listed in the roadmap up to 1.8, after every relevant nation has content I'll probably start work on making the mod a bit more interesting in SP, as that is what I think is more fun to mod.

So uh yeah feel free to play it and tell me what you think, there is a file included that lists the nations that have some amount of content included with the mod, and there is also a roadmap that shows the plans / ambitions I have for the mod. Also feel free to ask any questions you might have, either in the comments here or DM'ing me one Discord!

R5: Paraguay has mobilized 186000 troops while having only 100k pops, they are either zombies, women, or mercenaries from somewhere because how the hell do you do that. Also they're communist so they might be doing the soviet tactics 70 years earlier

Egypt, and I think a couple other nations in my game, keep getting this event that makes them civilised. It's really annoying as I want to colonise them but can't if their a civ. I can't find anything about it online or find the event in mod files. Does anyone know anything about it? Or, better yet where I can find it in the game files so I can delete it.

It does make sense that it can't, but it *can* take the "Claim North American Union" decision, so you might like me make it to 1916 and only find out your grand plan is impossible at the last hurdle. Unless you edit the decision. Which I might.

Played Kita Kaigan in DoD for the first time, and it was actually pretty fun.
