Accepting Your Second-Choice Offer
Should you receive an offer to your second-choice program, you are encouraged to accept it and pay the non-refundable tuition deposit (if applicable).
What happens to my first-choice program if I accept my second-choice program? Your first-choice program will continue to be assessed throughout the application cycle. If you receive an offer to your first-choice program at a later date, you can accept this and your non-refundable tuition deposit will be transferred from your second-choice offer to your first-choice offer.

If you got accepted between October 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027 you have until May 1, 2027 to accept your offer as per here.
The need to accept within 14 days refers to offers made after August 1, 2027.
I have already seen two people have reading comprehension fails on this.

Man is anyone else getting crazy final year depression? I mean I was depressed throughout my degree but im actually losing it this fall.
It's just so much pressure. I dont know why I did this degree. I feel like it took so much out of me and im a shell of the person that I was when I started. In these years I've lost so much, my health my sanity, all I had going for me were my grades and im pulling the lowest grades of my entire career this semester. I kinda want to just drop my courses. I feel like a loser for wanting to give up right before the finish line but I honestly dont see anything waiting for me at the end. I see years of wasted time, money and energy and instead of finding myself I lost myself slowly year by year.
I had one thing I thought i could rely on and that was graduating this year and now i just cant do this anymore. Not really sure where to even go for support, my friends graduated last year, my therapist told me I might never love life, doctors claim there nothing wrong with me. Not sure if theres any final year peer support or anything either.

I barely passed first two exams phys 130 and chem 103 and studied hard for both of them. I have no idea how to study anymore. I was spamming practice questions and felt good about phys 130 going into the maciejko midterm and then bombed it. What are the best ways to study for all first year eng courses?

I felt like the 90% of the questions were different from WH of 5 weeks even though they told it would be similar.
Won't be surprised if my grades get Hilarious.

I was hoping to study on campus today (Saturday) but most libraries close at 5pm. I know that Cameron’s basement is open 24/7 and sub. But is there any other place I can study like ucomms or just general area, or will I get kicked out?

I know this might just come off as a dramatic first-year student post, but I really need a place to say this and hopefully get some tips from students who are further along than me. I'm currently in my first year of a BA in Criminology, a program I worked incredibly hard to get into, and honestly, it's been a dream come true. But now that a month has passed, I feel incredibly stupid. My grades don't seem to reflect the amount of time and effort I'm putting into these courses.
I recently took both my PSYCH 105 and SOC 100 midterms. I scored a 72% in psychology and a 69% in sociology (exam I felt highly prepared for, and felt confident about). I have an exam pretty much every week, and I feel really embarrassed that so many others seem to manage this workload—even in courses far more difficult than mine—and still exceed, while I feel like I can't. My current averages barely meet the GPA I'm supposed to maintain to stay in Criminology (2.7), which worries me greatly. The majority of my classes base my grade completely on exams, and I'm starting to worry it might be the way I study, or that I'm simply unfit to be here. I haven't been in the best place mentally since starting university, but I really don't want to use that as an excuse for how I'm performing academically.
Does anyone have any study methods or tips for courses that are really heavy on memorization? Or just general advice? I would be so grateful for anything at all.

Hellooo
I am a first-year student, and Canada is not my home country.
In my country, tipping does not exist and is even illegal.
I understand tipping in the United States because, in some states, workers may lack a salary without customer tips.
However, every Canadian province mandates a minimum wage.
I find it hard to accept tipping here because most workers are part-time, and I believe they should not rely on customer tips.
If my home were Canada and I held a job there, adding tips would be acceptable.
Yet all my expenses come from my parents in my home country.
Also, I pay a tuition fee of about $42,000 per year.
I really do not want to add tips.
Also, the Canadian tip system seems excessive:
(Original price + tax) × tip (around 15%)
Should I pay tips?

Hey everyone,
I lost my Apple Pencil (USB-C, latest generation, non-Pro version) either in a CCIS L2-200 Lecture room during my physics midterm or somewhere on the walk afterward. It probably fell out of my pouch.
If anyone found a white Apple Pencil with USB C charging (not the old Lightning one and not the Pro model) in or around CCIS today, please DM me. Happy to verify it’s mine and arrange a pickup.
I’ve already reported it to UAPS and will check Science Student Services + Lost & Found on Monday.
Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I have a NURS 106 midterm coming up. Any tips or things I should especially study? Any and all help would be appreciated. For context, I didn't do very well on the quiz, but to be fair, I was experimenting with studying methods, and I felt I didn't grasp the content as well as I usually do with my regular method (which I'm using now).
Also, I feel like I overthink sometimes; I think that is also a reason I didn't score great (mid 70s).
Thanks, y'all and sorry for the lwky hectic writting im like half asleep writing this

I was wondering for those who took this midterm with kyla smith how was it ? there’s a lot of diagrams that are labeled or you have to know the paths and I was wondering if the pictures are on the test ? like fill in the blanks or ‘what is labeled at 4’
