Hello.
I'm a literature degreed, WFH tech professional living in the Lake Tahoe area. Originally from Los Angeles, I've lived on both US coasts and in Europe, each more than twice.
I'm living the typical mountain life right now: hiking (esp peak bagging), trail running, cycling (touring/road/gravel, not MTB), tennis (the one sport I tend to watch), training, hot tubs, and skiing during the winter.
I like urban living too, especially in places like LA (well..), NYC, Berlin. I like to gym, run, beach, cafe, bookstore, museum, gallery, wander, indie film (big fan of Criterion Channel), etc.
I attended (but didn't complete) graduate school for somatic psychotherapy and do secular buddhism things.
I've traveled a lot, and plan to travel more, and more full-time. I have a WFH/remote job that allows me to live anywhere in the US (and globally with approval), but I'm focused on the independent-income side of things and expect to go fully self-employed by summer 2027.
I've been single for a stretch and it's hard to think about dating locally when you're focused on a geographic transition. I've been in Northern California for a really long time, and if I was staying in the US I'd focus on relocating to Southern California (LA, or north of San Diego), WA, CO, or upstate NY (train distance to the city). My digital nomad ambition has the shape of a plan, too, but I won't go into that here except to say it probably starts in Central Europe. The idea is to be flexible and adventurous but open to everything else.
No lists of who I'm looking for.. but yes to the obvious characteristics of a good match with all the chemistries. I'm active, fit, educated, entrepreneurial, creative, adventurous looking for a great partner for big things. I don't care where in the world you are right now, as long you have the interest, energy, and capacity to move an intentional thing forward in good stride.
I don't drink alcohol.
