I have 2nd hand Mazda 3 2018 CX Japan built, with ebrake (I don't think it matters, but just in case, providing this info). While replacing the rear brakes, one of the pins with plastic end (ie with silencer) was at the top, and on the other side, it was installed at the bottom.
Now, I am trying to find how it should be, but can't find a definitive answer.
Do we have any mazda technicians here who could provide the insight? I have 2014 service manual, but it's not specified in there either.
So should a calliper bracket pin with silencer installed at the top (trailing) or bottom (leading) position?
My calliper is behind the wheel, not in front, so the top pin is trailing, and the bottom one is leading.
