Miata in Santa Fe
Nothing like driving a mountain road with a Miata in fall.

Hi /r/Mazda,
Over the years, we’ve had many AI-Generated posts submitted to the subreddit and while the conversations can be engaging around what a car or concept COULD look like, the damage done to our environment is not worth it.
We’d like to encourage users to submit real-life images, real mockups, real concepts and have real interactions with each other around this type of content but cannot support low effort, AI-generated slop.
Going forward, users who post AI-generated images will have their posts removed and will receive a warning. Further AI slop will result in a temporary ban, up to a permanent ban.

Had the opportunity to sit in a wreaked 26 CX-5 at work and reset the infotainment. This confirms I will never buy this car or any future Mazdas if this spreads to the rest of the line up. The infotainment system forces Google on you with no way to fully opt out, there is a scary level of data collection inevitable from the always on microphone input under the guise of voice command, and there is no way to decline the terms and conditions of Google to use the car without it. Ota will inevitably replace Assistant with an even worse spyware, Google Gemini, to likely train itself on conversations in your car further, again no way to opt out. I haven't tried removing the telematics fuse if even possible, so juries out on how to handicap it.
Worse the controls are inane. HVAC buttons are tiny which will make it difficult to use on any of America's notoriously bumpy pothole ridden roads (anyone with experience using touch controls on aftermarket radios knows how annoying it is to accurately aim your finger and press to turn volume up or something). Annoyingly the corporate excuse when this was first revealed was "it's safer to ask Google assistant (Gemini) to adjust your HVAC", further emphasizing the first paragraph. Not to mention it's too easy to buffer overflow inputs and lag out the interface
I will not buy any car with this crap in it, Mazda or not. When the time comes to upgrade from my 2012 Mazda 3, I will likely get a 4th gen, but if this spreads I will go no newer than that. It's incredibly disappointing the direction this industry is going, and that this brand is following suit

Bought a CPO CX-50, found this in the glove box. If so, is there any use for it since I already have AA/CP for navigation?

I am going to lease a CX-30 and the dealer sent me these photos, one on the roof and another one on the bonnet. He said it is just glue residue from the white wrap when they removed it and it will be washed away when I clean the car (He said they are not painting scratches), and discounted $700 on the lease. Did someone faced a problem like that? I am a bit concerned before signing the papers, because if it is just residue, they could easily remove it and not offer a discount.

Soooo I decided to name my 3 kittens after Mazda related things a few months ago and thought yall would find it cool. So first is Miata, he’s an orange and white calico. Then we have Cosmo, named after the Mazda Cosmo, he is a ragdoll, white with blue eyes. Then Eunos, named after Mazda’s luxury brand from the 90’s, Eunos is an orange cat and wow is he a menace. Pictures attached!

I’m planning on buying a 2026 Mazda3 sedan. Is asking for $25k out the door too low or too much? Anyone can tell me what they paid OTD?

I'm looking to replace the wimpy 'Meep Meep' horns on my Miata, and Google AI states the 'snail horns' from either the 30 or 50 should work on the Miata without any wiring splicing. Simply plug and play into the existing wiring. Adding the decibel rating peaks at 118 with a deeper Big car tone.
Supposedly the new horns are cheaper than used parts on Ebay and such at ~$40 for either low or high tone, per Google AI. Besides trying the dealers site, what's a good Mazda OEM parts site?
