For starters, I’m a full face kinda girly! I’ve had the same exact makeup routine for quite some time now and while I do really enjoy it, I’m always open to recommendations on how I can make it better. Thank u :)

I feel like my make-up is really boring at the moment, I’ve been doing more or less the same look for years now. I have naturally deep set under eyes and they’re a bit dark so I always look tired. There’s not a hole that I can do about that. But something about my make-up just isn’t hitting anymore? It feels boring and I’m not sure what to do with my eye make-up.
I’ve added some pictures of my everyday make-up in different lighting, small amount of foundation, blush, little bit of sparkly eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. I just brushed my eyebrows. I’ve also added a picture of the last time I went out and did a full face and it’s basically the same as my everyday make-up just a bit heavier. How flipping boring. 😭 (the picture of the glasses on is no make-up apart from mascara. And the picture at the end is the last time I went out.)
I have to be careful of using bronzer etc because otherwise it looks funny when you see my face compared to my body 😂 but what else can I do to liven up my look. I like having a winged eyeliner but feel a bit lost with eyeshadow colours at the moment. I also end up using a fair bit of blush to brighten up my face. If I ever do a full make-up look and try a smoky eye it just makes me look really tired. So please give me tips for pale girls!!!
I’d love to look all juicy and plump with dreamy eyes 😅 but at the moment I just look tired and boring.

Hi, all. For the longest time, I have been a no or minimal makeup person. I have collected plenty of products but do not often use them. My collection includes a bunch of shadows and shimmery things, and eyeliners that I don’t use. I don’t do much concealing, but there are some trouble areas that I could do without. My go-to has been to brush or gel my brows, black mascara, mayyybe some light coverage tint and/or blush, and lip balm. I have more recently discovered that I like cream products because I can apply by hand, and they tend to look more natural and hydrating on my combo/tending to dry skin. Stylistically, I feel like when I see “french” and “off duty model” makeup looks, and anything that is supposed to look natural or fresh, I like it. But I also am not someone who expects to wear makeup but not look like I’m wearing any.
Now, I look at my collection and sort of hate everything I have, and also realize that I never really developed the skills to do everyday or special occasions looks. When I actually set myself to the task of applying makeup that includes coverage and eye color, I always feel like it turns out the same no matter the technique. And it doesn’t feel flattering, or natural.
Ideally, I would like a no-fail everyday natural look with a few products, and also maybe an education on techniques and placement for my face. What can I try? What is not working for me? All feedback appreciated!
The pictures include a recent “full face”, and bare face. The makeup was done before an on camera meeting that I didn’t want to look dead for, and is much more than I usually would do. I used a tinted moisturizer, cream blush, powder highlight, brow gel, mascara, peachy liner on waterline, and a kind of brown/mauve eyeshadow. I felt it looked dated.

Posted here about a week ago. My foundation was separating and caking around my nose while I was applying it. Got some good tips in the comments and managed to fix that!
I didn't change my skincare nor products I originally used. I did implement some extra products and steps tho.
I waited 15min after skincare. Then. I applied smoothing primer with same base as my foundation (elf poreless putty primer). Waited a bit, applied thin layer of power grip elf. Waited for it to dry. Then, mixed my foundation 50:50 with my moisturiser and applied a thin layer with flat brush in sampling motion. Applied rest of my cream products. Sprayed my face with milani "make it last original", waited for it to dry. Then I powdered my face as always with easy bake from huda. Applied rest of powder products. Then one more spray with milani, waited for it to dry again and finished off with loreal infallible fixing spray.
I still have natural texture but no more caking or separation. My base looks and feels amazing (at least in my opinion).
Thank you all again for useful tips, appreciate it!
(and yes, my lips are hella dry, don't mention that 😩)

Lately I’ve been feeling pretty chopped and not happy with my makeup. I’m looking for some advice on what makeup would suit my natural features instead of simply following what styles I like on other people :P

Trying to get in the habit of doing a quick makeup look that can take 5-10 minutes. Did this one recently, it's just tinted moisturizer, blush, eyes and lips

I feel like my makeup ages me...although I try to keep up with what is considered "trendy" and "youthful". Any suggestions? My eyebrows are super blonde so I have to use brow tint. Also have sun damage, I think. Tanning was a big deal when I was in high school and college. 🫤

I’m 39 and wanting to look more “put together”. My makeup routine is matte primer, face coverage, concealer for under eyes/ red spots, eyeliner, eyebrows, lip liner, and blush.

My friend gifted me the milani blur out primer but I’ve never used primer before lol. My pores are mostly noticeable around my nose and cheeks so do I just apply it there or spread a little everywhere? Also do I moisturize first, then apply primer, then foundation?? Should I wait between each step? I have dry skin and I’m a little lost on the order

with and without makeup on my skin.
I feel like my upper lip/mouth area is so ashy both with and without makeup, but i’m not sure how to correct this. I use a vitamin c serum (Goodal vita-C) for hyperpigmentation but it doesn’t really help.
Also, i’ve never used color corrector before, and I’m not sure what color i would have to use if i did 😭 I’d like to use it under my eyes too. Looking for any advice!!

Hi all,
My wedding is coming up in a few months and I want to do my own makeup. My mom keeps pushing for me to hire someone because she says I always make my face look orange. I cannot tell if it’s my blush, foundation, or contour. I am unsure of my skin undertone. Any tips or tricks based on this recent makeup look? Also feel free to add any tips for anything else you see. Thanks!

Basically what the title says. I'd like to find a new style even though I've been doing this kind of eyeliner for a long time and I will feel weird without it, I want to try.
I used to wear black pencil on the waterline too but lately I've just been applying concealer, eyeliner, mascara and blush (although it has faded already by the time I took the photos). Please bear in mind that I took these photos as I was about to head to bed so my makeup wasn't applied recently and has faded. 😅
I should also say that my skin is very sensitive and I don't normally use foundation. My sister is the only one who has made me wear foundation twice. First one was her makeup exam and the second one was my wedding. 🤣
That said, I'm open to suggestions but I don't think I'd have the patience to apply foundation everyday since I've been mostly focusing on my eye makeup since I started using it.
Sorry for the long text! I think my sister told me my concealer isn't too good and she's the expert. But I'm going to use it until it lasts at least. 😂
Thank you and have a nice day/night! 💕

Hello! I was hoping i could get some suggestions on what i could try next and some tips for what ive got. i haven’t rly used makeup until recently and it seems like all i can figure out is eyeliner, lip gloss, and mascara.
ive watched a bunch of tutorials that talk abt face shape and what you should do accordingly but i have body dysmorphia and its so difficult for me to have an accurate grasp of my appearance. then every time i try to do anything more complex i look goofy.
i like the simple look for like daily stuff but i want to be able to look more glam for special occasions (my birthday is coming up).
my biggest struggle rn is that i have really shakey hands so any sharp angles with eyeliner becomes really difficult. if anyone has any tips for that or any advice on what else i could improve i’d rly appreciate it!

I hate getting a giant hole in my eyeliner.

Idk what to change but I feel like I’m constantly missing something when it comes to makeup. I only do my eyes because nothing else ever really looks right. Pictures of me just look bad all the time and I constantly feel insecure about how I look.Need advice on what I might be able to do. Don’t really have the budget for anything crazy but could definitely use an outside eye. Thanks in advance!
