This is something so simple that a lot of people overlook. People give top players a pass when they start acting disrespectful because "they know what they're talking about" and have the rank to talk shit.
Some people, especially in low elo see this and adopt this attitude. Let me tell you something:
Your chances of winning go up higher when everyone in the team is motivated to win, not when you're putting them down.
Is it gonna magically make everyone's macro and micro better when you're being nice in the comms? Of course not.
But I'd rather have a motivated and eager-to-win teammate rather one who:
Will sabotage the game out of spite
Has lost the energy to win because what does it matter anymore.
And that's all because you decided to be an asshole, and now, everyone loses.
It doesn't matter if you have the superior micro and macro in your elo; if your team doesn't feel like winning anymore because you are constantly putting them down then the team's loss is on you. Because you turned what could've been a potential victory / comeback into an inevitable defeat.
It's free to be a good person. The wins feel better and the losses don't seem to matter as much, and you get to learn much more clearly because you're not constantly viewing things through the it's their fault not mine lens.
You want to improve your winrate in ranked? Don't just take into account micro and macro, think about attitude too, and believe it or not, a positive mindset is much more healthier for you.
