Enjoying knife making as a new hobby…not that interested in learning leather working. Any advice on how to source sheaths that will work with a custom knife?

So all I have is an angle grinder, a power drill, a pair of tinted safety glasses, and a random hammer. Also a 300 dollar budget. Instead of a belt grinder, would a worksharp mk.2 work nicely? My budget is limited. Also, what else do you recommend I buy? I just want to make some small fixed blades. Also, is 1084 steel with g-10 handles a good start, or should I change the configuration?

Recently finished this blade for a family member.
Metal is 1095 high carbon steel, textured and blued. Handle is Chechen wood, that’s been torched. Blue G10 liners, black carbon fiber pins, and a kydex sheath make this a great daily task blade. 😎🔪

Hello. This is somewhat random but looking for any sort of insight as I am clueless when it comes to any sort of metal work. My dad was a scrimshander/bulino engraver/knife maker and he passed away two years ago. I now have his MOAG sitting in my garage. It is so heavy, I don’t think I could list it online and ship it. I need to get rid of this thing. What type of person would use this grinder? I’m located in Wisconsin and marketplace has gotten me nowhere. I just need to get rid of it and am willing to let it go for cheap to someone who will appreciate it. Thank you for reading and I’ll appreciate any advice on who to market this to.

(Not an Esee).... Sooo that junglas I was building for myself..... It got knocked off the hook it was hanging on.... Was letting the oil soak into the oxides.
Stepped backwards into it and knocked it off the hook straight into the concrete floor
Edit to add: steel is SUP9 /5160

Bought myself another knife making course (this is getting expensive).
1st course was a few years ago - gift voucher Christmas present.
This time was a 3 day course. 3 different instructors, mainly due to their work patterns.
I think it turned out ok.

I am refurbishing an old carpet cutter. I want to keep most of the natural patina, but I would like to remove it (the patina) from the circular base piece, and also I want like a 1/2 inch of clean blade where the blade is actually sharp, if that make sense. I’m worried about the metal looking all scratched up if I continue to use my rotary hand tool. Thank you for the help!

This is the piccadura, the traditional pattern on the ring of the resolza, the folding knife of Pattada in Sardinia. It's one of the most delicate steps in our workshop: it's done on the finished knife and takes a lot of experience and practice.
Happy to answer questions about the process.

AEB-L stainless with golden Acacia wood, stainless spacer, and aged brass bolster. These heirloom fit handles are tricky but I love how they look and feel! I mostly stick with gyuto blade shapes these days, so it was fun to mix it up with a western style.

Kitchen knife I made. Suminagashi VG10 +carbon fiber handle.
Still a bit rough, but I wanted to keep a bit of dark patina on the blade.
