Mobile/App Sending the right support request.

• Upvotes

Reddit is still asking me to verify my age with Persona even though I already shared my age range with Apple. I’ve contacted support about this, however I couldn’t figure out which request to send and I ended up selecting “Request your Reddit data” and “GDPR”.

I of course also listed the actual issue, however im not sure if I’ll get a copy of my data, which I don’t want.

Have I submitted the wrong request form and is there something I can do about it? Is there a different form I should send about this issue?
I didn’t get any reply to the request yet.

This might be a silly question, but I’m getting lost and I’d appreciate the help.

Profile Redditor attempted phishing attack on me via private chat, then deleted their messages but not before I screen captured them

Thankfully I grabbed screenshots before they deleted their messages. The problem is since they did that, I could no longer report what they said, so I figured I'd put something here and see what was recommended. I wouldn't normally have bothered with accepting the chat, but it came from a 6yr account with post history so I figured they were legit, but definitely not.

Posting Can someone help me on how to block in Reddit?

• Upvotes

I thought the person texting me was someone I know, and it turns out the opposite. I want to know how to block them since I don’t like talking to strangers because they could be hackers or bad people and everytime I use the search bar on Reddit and add their user to the search bar it gives me no results

Access Account issue

• Upvotes

I have changed my phone no. (I will call both the Old and New from now on) My account now is quite fragile now as there's no password to it and once I log out I think it's ggs. The reason I assume that because I made this account using Old, and i have yet since incorporated Old into New, and the requirements to add a password to my account is by reddit SMS my Old no. which i cannot reach, and changing into New would require a verification code from both New and Old, and as mentioned in couldn't get one for Old so it's a huge technicality loop and I cannot add a password or anything.

Access Failed age estimation, and data security concerns [Android]

• Upvotes

Pretty much as the title says.

I use this account in a semi-professional capacity, but with the new age restriction systems my access to some basic features, such as chats has been revoked.

The simple but also dumb answer is to just verify my age, but between the immense security risks with that and the existing account information I see absolutely no reason that my account cannot be marked as 18+ without direct verification

First some more details about why i just flatout will not be verifying my age: we already have numerous cases of companies that claim to not save any information, only for those companies to get hacked and have a whole lot of information to get leaked that they claim to have deleted.

Combine that with government ID's and facial data and i think it doesnt take a genius to put together how much of a security risk that is, to the degree that i simply do not trust any company to handle this information in any capacity. All it would take is one badly run company for massive identity theft.

Now, i tried to write out why my account quite obviously indicates I am an adult, but with that explanation present reddit would not let me post this, so i'll try to keep it simple: This account is on the older side of account ages, combine that with mentions of my status as a uni student and my activity in professional communities i see no reason for my account to not be marked as adult.

I simply request manual review of my account to verify my age.

I tried filing a normal ticket, but there was no appropriate category for that on the help request page, so I am posting here instead

Access Almost a year old account randomly got deleted

My account that I had for almost a year just got deleted somehow or some reason. I was just scrolling through Reddit my last night before I went to bed. Then this morning I woke up and try to scroll through Reddit and found out I was logged out from my account. So I tried to log back in but it said something about “there no username” or something similar to that. I even tried to reset my password because I thought I might have gotten it wrong. But it wouldn’t let me reset it either. I even checked my email and didn’t receive anything abnormal from what I can see. So if you can admin please help me recover my account! The username is mr_easycheesy_rat that was deleted. Please help me recover my account back please!

Posting Issues with some posts

Hi Im wondering is anyone having the same issue. I have opened reddit because I have autoimmune issues and I see that people are really kind and supportive to each other in those communities. I tried posting a few times and some posts get deleted and some dont. Im just confused because I didnt break community guidelines, not getting response from mods.
So general question did anyone experience something similar?

Access Desktop – How can I request a review of my Low Contributor Quality Score (CQS)?

I'm trying to understand why my Reddit account continues to have a Low Contributor Quality Score despite a substantial history of positive contributions.

My account has:

  • Over 7 years of history
  • 44,501 karma
  • 320 contributions
  • Top 1% Poster achievement earned 9 times
  • Top 5% Poster achievement earned 17 times
  • Picasso achievement earned 19 times
  • A 49-day activity streak
  • Verified email and phone number
  • Two-factor authentication enabled

My CQS originally showed Lowest and improved to Low after verifying my email. It has remained Low despite completing the additional security steps.

I attempted to contact r/ModSupport after r/RedditCQS directed users there, but received an automated response explaining that ModSupport is only for community moderators.

I've also checked Reddit's Help Center.

My question: Is there an official way for a regular Reddit user to request a CQS review or find out whether an account-level reputation issue is affecting their score?

I'm not asking for the algorithm to be disclosed. I'm simply looking for a way to understand and resolve a potentially inaccurate classification.

Thanks for any guidance.

Profile Locked account, password reset "succeeds" but login still fails Desktop

Hi admins,

My main account u/mehmetemreak was locked "as a security precaution" on Oct 24, 2025. Since then I can't get back in:

- Password reset emails arrive at the registered address (still mine).

- The reset page says "your password has been changed", but I never get the "password updated" confirmation email.

- Login with the new password fails: "Invalid username or password" (Error: wa0NSE). "Continue with Google" fails with the same error.

Latest ticket: KVWVXX-KKVGV (Oct 20, 2026). Earlier tickets from March 2026 got no human reply.

Could someone take a look or unlock the account? Thanks.

Mobile/App comments are sorted for newest, but only in one sub

I am using the Reddit App on iOS and i'm unable to find out how to permanently keep the comments not being sorted so that it shows me the newest first.

it's only in one specific subreddit (r/unbeliebteMeinung)

doesn't matter how old the post, it can have 3.000 comments, it will always show me the newest first. In every other Sub it's showing me top comments.

Is there not any way to keep this setting permanent for all subs? thanks for your help

Posting iOS - Stats not updating

Thumbnail reddit.com
2 Upvotes

My Reddit post in [r/fuckHOA](r/fuckHOA) received over 1.8 million views, 5,202 upvotes, and 776 comments.
However, the Post Insights statistics appear to have stopped updating properly.
I’m using the Reddit iOS app.
Could an administrator please investigate whether Post Insights statistics are updating correctly for older viral posts?
I understand that the first-48-hours graph is historical, but I would expect the cumulative statistics to continue updating.
I have attached a screenshot showing the problem.
Thank you.

Desktop Chat requests not showing properly on desktop

Here's how my chat requests are appearing on desktop (viewed in Chrome, either the "inset" chat dialog or the "full screen" chat page). Big list of "group created" things, not in chronological order. If I look at requests on either the Android or iPad app, they appear correctly - the user is shown, followed by the first line of the message text, and they're sorted correctly in descending chronological order. Tried all the usual clear cookies etc. etc., to no effect. Any ideas?

I tried on Firefox and the requests show correctly on the inset dialog, but are wrong on the full screen page.

Reddit Premium Why does the Past Year CSV show different follower counts than shorter date ranges? (desktop)

I have a Reddit premium subscription. On desktop, I’m using Performance → Account and clicking Download CSV.

When I compare exports, the “Followers” values agree across Past Week, Past Month, Past 3 Months, and Past 6 Months wherever dates overlap. However, Past Year gives different follower values for those same dates.

Examples:

Date Shorter-range exports Past Year export
May 18, 2026 42 0
May 19, 2026 121 0
August 30, 2026 272 121
October 20, 2026 361 191

The Followers graph also shows 42 for May 18 and 361 for October 20, matching the shorter-range exports.

Views and Upvotes match across the exports; only Followers differs.

Why would selecting Past Year change the follower value for the same date? Is this a known export issue, or is “Followers” calculated differently depending on the selected range? What exactly does that CSV column represent?
