Hi folks, I may have a weird one.

I use reddit through Libre Wolf (PC), and I like starting at my home feed set to Best. Lately, I've noticed that after the first 20 posts or so, "Best" only shows posts from r/whatisit. I had previously joined that sub, but it was weird seeing post after post only coming from that one sub.

I went into the sub and made it silent. The result? There is nothing under my home feed for Best. It says, "There is no content to display, We were unable to find any content for this page" and that's it.

I can go into subs directly and see things normally. Setting my home feed to Top, New, Rising, or Hot, and again I can see things normally. It's just Best that shows nothing. Any idea what's going on?

EDIT: Same problem on the Android app but it says "Wow, such empty".

My contributions are not increasing with use.

Last night I was getting emails for replies and such as usual, then they stopped coming.

I did not change any settings and all of the options are still checked.

The messages are not in my spam folder.

I sent a message to the email address from another email account and it went through just fine.

Any suggestions?

Anyone experiencing the same issue/know what the cause can be? In the past all my posts got accepted as long as i added an [OC] to them while nowadays they immediately get flagged with an “X by the moderators of r/pics”. It happens so fast that it almost seems impossible as well. Thanks in advance:)

The "about" section of subreddits now automatically translates to the language my device is set to. Is there a way to disable it so it shows the way it was written originally that is not changing my device's language? I find this really annoying and distracting because the translation is sometimes awkward to read and understand and sometimes outright wrong.

For example, it translates the word "discord" as in the messaging program as "Zwietracht" which means dissension or strife. In addition, I prefer being able to know how exactly the mods of the subreddit phrased the rules and other parts of the "about" section rather than having to look at a translated version of it with no choice of being able to see the original and check what they really said. If I need to translate something, I can do so on my own terms.

This only happened within the last 12 hours. The extent of which parts are translated changes from subreddit to subreddit. I tried to see if it one of the experiments that are run currently but I didn't find it. If I just missed it on the list please let me know.

so, my main account (u/EcoPigMayer) randomly logged me off from it, so i tried logging in. it said the password was incorect, so i changed it. but even after putting the new password, it still says it's incorrect!

i tried using the one time e-mail link, as well as the "log in with Google" option, but none of that worked. i used a different browser, tried to do it on my phone, and nothing, literally nothing worked. also, when i try to log in with Google, it just says some random error name, like "KDwYho" (this is an actual ctrl C + ctrl V from the error pop up)

please help me get through this. i tried it on an iOS and desktop.

for reference, I am on the Google mobile browser not the app. despite enabling my profile to be private, people can still see my posts? how can I fix this?

All my posts are missing, but my comments are all there. How do i get them restored?

So about a month ago, my main Reddit account u/Janjulian0523DE was mysteriously hacked and I couldn’t see it on Reddit, I tried to search it up and it said “this person has deleted their account” so I think the person who hacked my account ended up deleting my account so is there any way to get it back?

Hello ! I don't know why but Reddit without any received mail or anything said that my account is no longer accessible because it was "deleted". I never deleted it. I tried to access internal Reddit help but as this account no longer exist, it is difficult. (I tried anyway but didn't receive any response).

I've been switched over to some awful test on here and it's completely ruining the whole app. 90% of my home feed is just suggested subs, and a shed load of ads, and the tabs have GONE where I might change to following. It's absolutely awful, is there any way to change out of it or am I stuck here until Reddit decides to switch me into another test group?

Tried talking to Reddit Support but they wanted to act stupid and couldn’t seem to grasp the problem I was having.
No matter what I’ve done I can’t upload a video yet I see people posting 3 min clips with no issue.

I can’t seem to get what it is, since I saved videos to see what the go is and the file sizes and quality all vary between 480 to 720P and file sizes from 8.5MB to 72.5MB.

Mine is saved from the Xbox App onto my iPhone 14 Pro at 12 seconds long in 720P and 75.5MB and still can’t upload, yet if I tried to upload a video I downloaded from here I can post it.

So I have two reddit accounts, this one (switch13lade8o5) and one I made around the same time I made this one (switch13lade24). I have used this account that I'm poating on pretty much the entire time, and my other account has been locked. It says I need to change my password to regain access to my account, but both accounts use the same email. I can not find the change password email, and when I try to change my email, it won't let me since I need to change my password. Do I have to click "forgot password" for this to work? Or is that account just locked forever? I don't want anything to happen to this account since both accounts use the same email, so that's why I'm asking here just to be sure

I’ve been trying to participate more on Reddit by leaving thoughtful comments in communities I’m interested in, but sometimes my comments get little to no engagement.

It makes me wonder whether people simply don’t see them, whether it’s because my account is new, or whether I’m just commenting at the wrong time.

For those who’ve been on Reddit for a while, did you experience this when you started? What helped you get involved in conversations naturally?

I couldn’t block an account successfully. I selected blocking and then a window popped out saying it cannot be blocked.

I’m locked out of my account and can’t get back in no matter what I try.

Situation:

Account was originally created with Google login (SSO)

I successfully receive password-reset emails and can set a new password

After resetting, login still fails with “invalid username or password”

I’ve tried both username + new password and email + new password

“Continue with Google” also fails (invalid credentials / same error)

The one-time “email me a login link” never arrives (only password-reset emails come)

I’ve tried multiple browsers, incognito, the app, different devices, and different networks

The account still exists and is searchable

I’ve already submitted a support ticket explaining all of this, but so far only got the automated “reset your password” reply.

Is anyone else currently experiencing this exact issue (password reset succeeds but login still rejects the new password)?

Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.
