no, its not because of friday night funkin, the fan content or whatever, just the mere concept of it, it always wasn't going to work, and i don't get why so many people went this crazy over it back then
now i am really sorry for the creator that got his show canned when a ton of it was already fully conceptualized, but lets be fr man, what can you really do with this idea past 1 episode?
like, the show is about this corruption thats spreading across several animated shows right? but like, as much as it would've been kinda interesting seeing cartoon characters we know getting put in these fucked up situations, it would've gotten old quick, and we've seen the exact same thing done online
they'd get corrupted, then they'd move onto the next show, rinse and repeat, not to mention the way the show would end could never be done in a satisfying way, it was either gonna be some mcguffin that could uncorrupt everything, they'd all die in the end, or get left living in an empty destroyed wasteland, it was never gonna be that interesting
the worst part of the show is definetely what the message was gonna be, which is.....memes, yes, the glitch is supposed to represent memes, and the creator was gonna tell us how memes corrupt animation by twisting it into something weird and nonsensical........really?
like, it couldn't have been a commentary on how corporations ruin pieces of art by hyper-sanitizing it and milking the fuck out of it? thats the most obvious metaphor you could've done with pibby, but really? MEMES?
even if the corporate execs somehow let the creator take their high-profile character and fucking murder them on screen, this shit would've never been that good, the only value you'd get from watching this is seeing CN characters get fucked up, you'd not get any enjoyment from the story at all, its giving baby's first creepypasta
so yeah, thats just my opinion, if you like it, thats fine, i just hate it
