I’m looking to get myself a Springfield Echelon as my first handgun, is it worth the ~$130 or so extra to buy it with this kit? it comes with an RFX 11 which I see has a reputation as cheap and plastic, as well as 3 extra magazines and a bag. I’m just wondering if I should save my money for a quality optic later on and lose the magazines/bag?

I’ve been debating between a the different p365 options and need some opinions/advice that’ll help me choose. One of my biggest peeves is being able to put a solid weapon light on it. I currently have the FUSE and I love it but it’s a bit much to carry appendix (my preferred method). The XMACRO feels great in my hand and would give me great options for a light. My only concern is it being not much smaller than the FUSE so I’m unsure about the how comfortable/concealable it’ll be. The XL and the X seem like happy mediums size wise but lose points in my opinion for less light options than the XMACRO and a shorter barrel which will probably make it snappier. The OG p365 turns me off because of the shorter grip and low capacity. And again less light options. Let me know what you think, what you’ve experienced, and anything else that might help me make a decision! (Aftermarket parts are welcome but the less money I spend the better probably.)

Sent the Glock 19 gen 3 slide and barrel off to Glockstore for a fresh new cut. Well, actually several cuts. I took advantage of their optic cut for my Osight SE and the discount on their "C" cut as well. Why? Because my first pistol almost 20 years ago was a 19c iykyk. Anyways, I'll do a another video on everything I mounted once it came back but I think it turned out absolutely beautiful! Time to lube it up and put some rounds through it! What do you think about it? Let me know!

Solid vs expanding rounds I know it’s a whole topic and from what I’ve seen in gel tests it’s it’s fairly inconsistent for hollow points with a cloth barrier but a few choices seemed to be better but should I just go with a solid round or a hp and “hope” it expands and doesn’t over penetrate.

can the gas jet from the ported barrel injure you somehow, like how a revolver cylinder can, or is there not enough pressure at that point for that to happen? like for example if you shoot it from a closer in position in a defensive scenario or training?
