Just got a DD m4v7 for my first AR, paid about 1400 for it. Seeing a lot of posts online of people talking bad about DD and a lot of people talking good about them. I feel lost in the sauce on this shit. Took it to the range and ran 150rds of federal w no issues and it feels pretty accurate. I like the gun but I can’t help but wonder if I got a good deal or if I overpaid for mid tier hype.
Any word of advice? I’d especially like to hear from the DD haters to see what you don’t like. Is the hate just more targeted toward DD snobs or do you guys genuinely think the rifle isn’t worth it? I know that I could’ve got a super duty or a SOLGW or built my own or even saved more and got a LWRC but tbh DD was what I could get a good deal on and I don’t think that this rifle is too far below those rifles in any significant way but I’ve also not had a ton of experience with all of them.
I’ve tried a LWRC and a SOLGW and I like them both and I rlly like Geissele’s triggers but idk maybe I just need to get off the internet and into the range.

Hey yall,
New-ish to the gun community and gun ownership overall. I have a hellcat pro comp that I carry for self defense; however, I want to get comfortable appendix carrying. I think I’d feel more comfortable with a dummy round in the chamber for a while. Are there any that yall recommend? Thanks!

(I just really want a proper 10.4" barrel on a PS90 without having to spend like $4k in the process)

As shown is my Free State Gun Company SAS-9 (left) next to my transferable Mac 10 with a Lage Versa Upper (right).
As you can see, both of them are Glock mag compatible Mac guns with the FSGC SAS-9 being a full lower that takes Glock mags VS the Lage that accepts multiple mag adapters for Scorpion, Glock, Suomi….
Both are in 9mm! The FSGC is SS capable and the Mac 10 is a transferable Machingun.
I’ll be using the FSGC in some upcoming PCC Matches!

I was scared to shoot my SPAS because if it broke, parts would be hard to come by. Just picked up this Turkish clone 2nd gen Sulun Arms and it’s been cycling various high brass loads with no issues and looks 95% identical to the OG. Now I have one in the safe and one to shoot.

I’ve been looking to pick up some more range 9mm and last I bought I paid $250 for a 1k case, taxes included. Now it’s about $270 for the same deal. Is this the current “normal”?

New gun day is always a great day. Threw about 200ish rounds out of it, and it shoots great.
Side note: brother is now looking at 1911s after initially not having nice things to say about 1911s.

So I’m 18 and im tryna get my fish and wildlife license so i could buy a rifle. I just want somethin small and simple like a 22lr for now. I see so much people saying this or that about both guns(Remington 597 and Ruger 10/22). I just wanted to get an opinion right here. I hear the ruger 10/22 is good and that the remington 597 is good too if you replace the extractor it works like a charm. I want to see what yall think

I was offered this at for $500 with everything shown in the picture from a family member. The only thing he mentioned was that since it’s considered a pistol the folding stock is not legal what can I do to make it legal I’m assuming a longer barrel right? And is $500 for all a good price? I would like to sell the scope and swap it for a red dot or something smaller. More pictures in comments

I wanted a Beretta 92 for a long time. I recently acquired an M9A1 and it’s been great!

The only thing left is a 3 position safety and an FRT ( one day they will make one…)
1. It’s a bit front heavy… should I go with the triangle stock instead?

PSA was advertising late model (aluminum frames) P38s. I bought one and received it today. The slide catch spring had jumped the slot but other than that, It's in pretty good shape. I snapped the catch spring back in the slot and it runs like a Swiss clock.
2 ftf within the first 100 rounds, 1 fte at around 350, besides that she ran smooth like room temp butter!
