Google AI criticism

Gemini, Google AI Overview and the latter's AI mode are completely stupid. I mean in regards to intelligence. This is not about the guardrails and guidelines (they are not the problem; can be part, but not what I am focusing on). It's about the fact it can't comply to instruction, prefers short outputs over long ones, is dumb as a brick despite claims of hogh intelligence — especially AI mode and AI overview, who are dumb enough to warrant the two's shutdown — prioritize training over user's new baseline (even when you don't violate Google's policies, Gemini is bad at complying to user), is not honest at all (sycophancy, omission, corporate talk).

In short, all of Google AI's intelligenfe is bad, in both text and visual (image and videol) animations. It s good in image generation somewhat, but its low intelligence is why some generated images are sloppy. All Google AI does is AI slop, in both text and certain visuals.

Do any of you agree with this conclusion? If it's biased because of me, tell me in the comments.

I will never give them the satisfaction of clicking the *sponsored* result

Searching and of course Google shoves the paid result right on top. I always scroll past and click the organic one instead.

Tell me I'm not the only one who does this on purpose so the advertiser doesn’t get that sweet click money. I do the same thing with sponsored links – I "Circle to Search" to find the item myself instead of clicking a sponsored link. 😏💡

First time I'm impressed by Google results, I guess there is hope afterall, glad to know there are smart people who wonder about complex things among us.

What I wanted to search is whats typically the most expensive animal the zoo buys. I thought it must be the elephant, I work at the airport I unload airplanes, and some airplanes just arrive with an elephant inside. Elephants go for around a million. (That's a lot of peanuts.)
Nope it's the panda, listen to this bullshii, since you can't have 1, you have to get the pair, and they lease for a million a year. You don't even own the damn tings. And listen to this, if they have a baby while under the lease you have to pay them an extra $600.000. I bet some zoo somewhere couldn't afford the cub and said "chuck that little ting over the river, capish?". Maybe that's why the reproduction is so low, zoos don't have the cashish. But good luck getting mr and mrs panda in the mood in the first place, Hey Yo!
Gorillas go for $300.000, you know some people in poor countries that's how much they're gonna make in their lifetime. To be worth less than a gorilla doesn't sit well with me.
Koalas may not be expensive to buy, but they are expensive to maintain. Honestly I thought Koalas was just a nickname for Aussies. Aussies, Oi! Oi!

Deaf, and I really need better captions from Google

Hi Google, I'm deaf and I watch a lot of Twitch, Youtube, and shows that have no subtitles at all. Youtube's auto captions help on some videos, but they’re nowhere near accurate. Sometimes it writes "turret" when the person said "target," and when that happens I'm left guessing what was actually said. They also botch names, slang, and anything said fast or with an accent, and background noise wrecks them. I know 100% is a big ask, but I’d love to see captions get a lot closer, and work the same way everywhere, with less delay and some way to tell who’s talking. Turkish support would be great too. Honestly, I'd rather see AI's potential go toward this than toward pointless gimmicks. I want a world where hearing loss is no longer a barrier at all. If you use captions as well, an upvote would help Google see how many of us there are..
