I remember seeing the very first generation DVDs available at Target. I never bought them because they were too expensive. But then I saw the series in 2001 on [adult swim] and I was hooked! I bought the dvds, I bought the manga, I bought the soundtracks. Was that really 25 years ago? ✨

I'd always imagine Ed's future as the most optimistic and hopeful of all the crew's stories. And with her mechanical/techno savvy, I'd always imagined she'd strike a similar path to Jet - parting out junkers, reverse engineering and rat rodding tech toward untold mischievous schemes.

Who would she have taken her inspiration from? As an adult?

Ending still perplexes me even in current year

Estava entediado na aula de química, então resolvi desenhar isso :)

And as someone who has watched anime’s somewhat similar to Cowboy Bebop like Texhnolyze, Lain, Evangelion, and Ergo Proxy nothing broke me as much as seeing that tape of young Faye. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I cried from a tv show, but something about the tape, the “don’t lose me” and Faye’s reaction hit me so hard. But I also found the tape kind of.. motivating? But knowing how shows in this genre typically end I know it’s probably going to get worse but goddamn..

Photo of me and I kind of resemble Spike?

What are some songs you think fit the Cowboy Bebop aesthetic but aren’t in it?

I was recently exploring some acid-jazz artists and stumbled across a song called Prince of Peace by Galliano and thought it fit well, especially with the movie.

Space Cowboy by Jamiroquai is another obvious one imo.

Curious what y’all think and open to any suggestions!

I’m typically a subs snob with anime but there’s no doubt Bebop set the standard for dubs and remains the bar to this day. I don’t even mind admitting that I prefer the dub of Bebop to the original Japanese cast.

Hello!! Im an IB studeant and I'm doing my extended essay on the music of cowboy bebop, again comparative work of sorts. Thing is I need the sheet music, I can't find it anywhere, and I'm not in the US, so buying one of the sheet music books would take way longer than I have for it to arrive, and I dont have the certainty it would have useful songs. I just wanted to know if anybody has ANY sheet music of it at all? And I mean full band if possible.. i already got the Tank! Sheet, so any help would be really useful.

The songs that could help me a lot are:

Rain

Odd ones

Forever Broke

Blue (not real folk blues)

Farewell blues

Words That We Couldn't Say

See You Space Cowboys Not Final Mountain Root

Green bird

Memory

Please please if you have any information tell me, im sorry if it's a dumb post, thank you T_T

Awesome soundtrack but this song stands out!

It's been a long time since I watched the show and I can't quite remember. If you know, please do tell which episode

I made this song some time ago. Check it out!

Will be getting the grips soon!
