- Austria spends an hour before he himself goes to bed just watching Vienna sleep peacefully and often sits by her bedside just stroking her cheek.
- For her 13th birthday, Vienna really wanted lightsticks and other merch for her favorite K-pop groups (LE SSERAFIM, Enhypen and Stray Kids) and Austria went above and beyond, researching high quality reseller websites and even getting photocards of her biases (even though he's quite old and didn't know what K-pop was)
- He's learnt from his mistakes with Italy (but still believes he was right with the way he was raising him) and is never physically or verbally insane with Vienna, usually resorting to scolding her and correcting her behavior in more normal ways.
- Because Hungary is in the Royal and Imperial Army, Austria had to raise Vienna solo for most of her upbringing and had to research her several diagnoses (Hungary did come home several times, but as the Empire is in peace - she's just doing military service and excercises). Of course Hungary is as present as an active service member and General can be, but Austria is generally the most present, which is Vienna is so clingy onto Austria.
- Everyone tells him he's not good at hiding that Vienna is his favorite child of the ones he's raised. It's obvious, she has his values, appearance, opinions, is well behaved, has manners, has his sass, is polite (but will absolutely talk shit about you behind your back) and is basically him but smaller.
- Is a good dad and husband, buying Hungary flowers whenever she comes home on breaks from the military, helping Vienna whenever she wants it, is great at dealing with Vienna's manic episodes, is protective in the way Vienna doesn't feel unsafe, has supreme
cooking skills and is pretty well equipped at this parenting thing.
- Actually smiles whenever Vienna's in the room, and has told Denmark that "my daughter's presence lights the room, she was very needed and wanted because Prussia has terrorized us enough and we needed some warmth here. Vienna is the definition of that."
- Is the kind of dad to shield Vienna but makes it up qith his love and warmth.
(And I will not argue - Austria IS the most girldad coded character in the show, so thats why I made Vienna female)
